Quaint theater...very cozy...literally looks like a living room! They do amazing work here year round. Right now Milking Christmas is must see!!! Create some Christmas magical tradition of your own and take your group of friends, group of co-workers, or just go by yourself....either way, youll be laughing non stop. Really good production. An updated reimagining of Taming of the Shrew. Definitely for more adult audiences with great performances.

Very good performance. Their small theatre size didnt make a difference at all in the quality of their acting or the caliber of their show. It was amazing

Great intimate community theatre. The space is very small and the front rows are very close to the stage, which is a lot of fun. Restrooms are limited and there will be a long line if there is an intermission. Overall a minimalist space that serves its purpose in an economical and effective manner.

Great theatre. A lot of talented performers and really good shows. Only place in town that is dedicated to solely producing show made in KC.

What an amazing 2 evenings. Witnessed the beginning of selections of 7 writers & witnessed the performances 24 hours later. Amazing turn around & performances.

I had a small performance here and the stage, the sound system and even the seating was awesome. Such a cool place to be in,has a nice homey vibe.

The living room is a truly imaginative space. For all its little quarks and shortcomings as a traditional space, the shows there are unsurpassed anywhere else in the city. If you are truly passionate about theater, you will not miss an opportunity to see a performance there (or three/five/ten... You get the picture).

The Living Room is by far my favorite theater destination in Kansas City. The productions are evocative, imaginative, and executed beautifully. With a gritty yet welcoming atmosphere, The Living Room is a true gem, and a must visit for the adventurous theatergoer in Kansas City.
