I loved this intimate space for local theater. It was almost like a theater in the round more like theater in the square. The cast of The Shawshank Redemption the North American debut I might add, was spectacular. The casting was perfect. Loved the adaptation of the movie. I will be back many times in the future.

Will try again. The Weir was slow and we could hear all of the outside traffic but the actors were wonderful and not fazed by the distractions at all. Drinks were strong, which is a good thing to me!

New location, south of former spot, still in midtown on Main St. Saw a 2019 Fringe Festival play here. Nice restoration of old cinema for community theater and other performances--inside is still a bit rough, undergoing renovation. Good to have places like this open to local arts groups. Bravo!

Wonderful space! This ensemble is surprisingly accomplished on a shoestring budget. Its obvious these are professionals who are committed to the dramatic arts. Max capacity is not more than 100 on church pew benches, but theres wine, coffee, and pastry in the lobby and comfy couches to socialize before and after the show. Best parking across the street in front of old drug store.

This place has so much potential, and so many great artists working on it. Passion abounds, making up for an old building. MET at the Warwick is a must see venue, highly recommend.

What a fabulous experience! A small theatre, The Warwick, is in the process of being converted to host various entertainment. I was privileged to see the final open rehearsal of Shawshank Redemption and couldnt rave more about the whols producrion if I tried! The sponsors, donors, and attendees were all excited to see such a great piece and to know their money was being put to great use with these renovations. I encourage people to keep an ear open for other upcoming events!!

This is a great little theater company which produces excellent performances of classic works, filling a void in Kansas City where many theater companies tend to produce newer plays. We have been going for about 9 years and have thoroughly enjoyed almost everything we have seen there. And the lobby is very inviting with a food table and homey ambience. The seating is small, about 100 seats, and every seat is close to the stage. Try it out, for a lovely evening out at the theater.

I have been attending the performances at the MET for five seasons now. The productions get better and better. Karen Paisley is a wizard at creating theatrical magic. I still hear people talking about what a fun time they had at The Full Monty. The enthusiasm Kansas City has for the MET is growing leaps and bounds. Keep up the excellent work!

The minute you arrive at this place, you know you wont have this experience at any other theatre. The lobby is like hanging out in a friends living room. There are snacks put out, made by volunteers, and a small donation gets you as many trips to nosh as you like. The Artistic Director welcomes each and every person possible, and will learn your name. Theyre a non profit, and the theatre is small, and you wouldnt believe what they can do with the funding and an intimate space. The seating moves every time, no experience is the same. Youll love it.
