Great room. Big enough to hold plenty when theres not a pandemic going on. Staff is wonderful and Dustin, the owner, is a stand up fella. This is a comedian friendly place as well. Very supportive of the local scene.

Have been to two shows so far and cant wait to go back for more. Friendly service and great comedy. They usually have an early show and a late show to choose from. Affordable ticket prices and no drink minimum! They have a food menu, and theres several bars and restaurants nearby to make a great date night out. Doors open early and they have live music before the comedy show starts, usually 2 openers and then the main event!

This place was so fun. I decided to buy a 10 party table because some friends were coming into town. The drinks were extremely well priced, and the tickets were reasonable. We saw April Macey and she did not disappoint. There was a local stand up there who was hilarious. You all have new regulars based on an incredible experience.

I asked for a glass of water. Theyd said they only sell water bottles for $3. I said I just want a glass of water.The management told me to leave so I left. I well never be back.

Im excited to come back and view some comedy acts, but I actually came for karaoke. The stage is nice and the audience was really accepted my of new people.

What was the 1st time there we were sitting in the front in one of us had a huge migraine so we couldnt stare at the stage in the bouncer thought 1 of our friends was falling asleep which he wasnt he was turned away from the light so the migraine wouldnt get worse and then the bouncer came by and asked him if hes gonna fall asleep to please step outside Overall the comedians were awesome and greatBut I guess you have a migraine just dont go there service was a little slow and that thats all

Great place for an inexpensive good time in southern Kansas City area. Took the family during the holidays just to get everyone out of the house, and we all had a great time. The opening acts each had enough laughs to be worthwhile and the headliner was non stop. Couldnt begin to repeat the best lines in polite company. Definitely plan to go back.

1st time in was great. Went to see Kate Quigley.Doors were supposed to open at 830. More like 850, but they told us in advance which was great We went next door , bar with live music, and waited till about 845. The comedy club was now packed! But very organized. Doors opened and was seated quickly.We did not eat there, ate ahead, but had a few beers. Great time, great service and funny acts.We will b back.

We had a wonderful date night here. The check-in was easy. Drinks were fast. Food was pretty good. Larger selection than I am used to for a comedy club. All three acts were awesome! Loved the music guy as we first ate. We will go again!

The service was terrible. The waiter got our food order wrong 3 times. 3 TIMES!!! Then got my drink wrong.The comedy was good. Seating was fine but stop up front and grab your drinks before you go in and just eat before you go. The 2 things we first wanted they were out of and we were the first show of the night and then we asked that they bring the appetizer before the meal and they actually brought it last. The nachos had onions and we specifically asked for no onions and he seriously brought us 2 more orders and they both had onions. Smh. Salad was missing several things that they specifically stated and we verified was on the salad and the entire meal was brought backwards. Entree, salad, app and still no drink or even water. I also had to go get ketchup from the host who asked a couple servers where there was ketchup and he finally went back into the kitchen himself to get it. I eventually went to get my own drink at the bar and the bartender was waiting on the wait staff and didnt even turn around to face the front for not even sure how long. Then she looked at me and went on waiting on the staff. When she was finished with them she turned to me and asked what I wanted and I asked her if she had made a Titos and cranberry with 7 and of course she had not. So I ordered one and I made a little off comment about how our waiter was having a hard time tonight and she said yeah we heard about that. At least she comped my drink because they didnt comp any of the meal even though they basically brought us the wrong thing every time and oh then near the end he showed up with a Titos and 7. No cranberry

Table next to us completely ruined our entire show. They were obnoxious, drunk, and the hosts didn’t follow the rules. The drunk table received more than 4 “warnings” and nothing happened. We couldn’t even hear the jokes over the table, that’s how loud they were. Not going back any time soon.

Went to The Comedy Club of Kansas City for first time tonight, and enjoyed MC, Headliner, and Jon Rudnitsky. Jon was awesome, and hope to see him back in the future. We were welcomed by some of the great staff the moment we walked into the club, and the waiters were wonderful as well. Their menu had several items to pick from, and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner.I highly recommend visiting the Comedy Club!! Great evening out, filled with wonderful entertainment, guaranteed to make you laugh!

Comedians were great and staff were friendly. Wait staff need to stop by more often. We were asked one time for orders before we even saw the menu and were given waters. We were told they would come back and never did except for near the end. May be just a timing issue but missed out on ordering food and drinks. Would definitely go back.

Been there three times, each time better than the last. Great Service! Our server Amanda was top notch. Took great care of our party for Dice Clay. They are the first comedy club in Kansas City to book him I heard. That impressed me right off the bat. I will definitely be back.

We had a great time! Its a new club and you need to give them a try. The club was spacious, clean and the wait staff were really good. There is no drink minimum. There is plenty of parking! There is a bar and coming soon will be the kitchen to open so I can’t review that yet. There is handicapped access. It’s nice to have a club in South KC. Seriously go and support them!

I came for my birthday and was horribly disappointed. The comedy was good, but I couldnt enjoy it as it was overshadowed by how horrible everything else was.First off we got there early and waited to get in. All good.We get into the club and we get seats. We sit there for 20 minutes with no menus or anyone to come check on us. It was a full house, and maybe short staffed. Thats understandable. But we had to hunt down menus and then wait another 20 or 30 minutes to get our order taken, including drinks. We order everything including dessert all at once so as save time for everyone. Btw, the show has already started at this point.An hour later and we still hadnt gotten food. Im starving as is everyone else in my party and Im desperately trying to enjoy myself. Finally our food shows up (not together as some had to wait awhile longer) and we can eat. Food is not great (I mean I could by the same thing at a baseball game). I am beyond starving and I eat it up and looking forward to my dessert. But them Im informed by the server that none of us can get our dessert as its too late. What?Well, Im disappointed as is everyone else but we suck it up and try to enjoy the rest of the show.Note: this happened to the people I was with when they had gone before. Also, I saw people refusing their dinner as they tried to serve them at the end of the show and it was about 9pm.If you go, just dont eat there. The drinks are good, so maybe eat somewhere else and drink and watch comedy there only. Im not sure if Ill ever be back.

Arrived by the 8:45pm “doors open” time for our 9pm show, and it was a mess for the next 30 minutes. You walk in and pick up your tickets somewhere in the left corner where there is no defined line. If you’re early you can get drinks at the bar before that same waiting area turns into a mob. Pretty soon you have to squeeze into the other corner (“seating area”) to avoid the preceding show attempting to exit all around you in that same room. Our show was over 30 minutes late starting...and even though we were one of the first few to show up, we probably got the worst table at the show. The two appetizers we tried to order with our drinks weren’t available, I understand it’s the latest show- but we also spent $50 on tickets and $30+ on drinks for two people- double that for the two friends sitting at our table and we spent over $160. Bleh, not worth it! I’ll go to Zona Rosa next time!!!

They have some top notch comedians perform here! Also the bathrooms are really clean, which cant always be said for a comedy club. My only complaint is that $5 seems about a dollar overpriced for a well pour.

They have a nice drink selection and a pretty full menu. Ticket prices for stage side seating are very reasonable. We saw AJ Finney who was absolutely hilarious. The service was very good too. Well go back. The grilled banana desserts are amazing.

Went to a show tonight, and it was awesome! You can tell theyre still getting their feet wet when it comes to bar service, BUT I had a phenomenal time! All of the comics were great, and it was an awesome way to kick off my evening.

Visited this comedy club a few times, so far the acts arent that bad but I am disappointed with the service. I alone went to one of the shows today, but was informed that I am being charged gratuity for my meal because the show they had on their site is not their show so I have to pay extra.I did notice that 89% of people in the show ordered food/drinks and all are being charged gratuity. Thats a big penny once you add it up, so I am disappointed in this.Side not, Ive come to a few shows now, this time 99% of the attendants are African American but when I was here and the only mixed in the audience there was no gratuity.

Nice place aside from the terrible smells from the bathrooms. The smell was so bad, I didnt want to order food or drinks.Once that is fixed, it would be a great club.

$20 tickets. No sprite. Lousy seating setup. The lead/hype man was anything but that. Only go if someone known is playing.

Just went and saw James Johann, at the late show. Not that I go to comedy clubs all that often, but let me just say I do hope this one becomes a fixture. As a suggestion to management/owner, comedy can be clean not that James was vulgar, but you can be funny without profanity, especially without saying Gdamn. That really angered me. Generous drinks, really hopeful about future food service. I will try again!

We saw Louis Katz last weekend with Mike Baldwin. The comics were hilarious, the service and drinks were great! I cant wait to go back!

Alright, we went in the first night they could sell alcohol but they didnt have food yet.The space was nice and you can tell they put a lot of care into it.They had a great comedian that night as well.I look forward to coming back when they have everything available.

Seating was very tight and uncomfortable. The environment was not very inviting. The headline act Emma Williamson when we went wasnt very funny, but comedy is subjective. Do not waste your money on VIP tickets. The only difference is you get seated first and all seats are equally good / bad.
