I have been here multiple times over the last few years. They always have quality headline comedians. The openers are usually good, but some are a miss. Drinks and food are good though overpriced. Not a fan of the chairs as they get very uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. This is a place that provides guaranteed laughs.

The show was very good. I havent laughed that hard in a long time. I would have to say that the food is ok, but nothing to right home about. The drinks are typically over priced. Thats to be expected. The service is hit or miss. This is not my first time there. Service is outstanding once then not great the next. Still a fun evening.

Great atmosphere. Visited during COVID and they have the tables already out and are taking proper precautions while still keeping it intimate. Looking for a dessert? The fried oreos are amazing!!! You wont be disappointed.

Pretty cool place. We went to it before all this COVID mess and now like it more. There is assigned seating and we are not packed in there.

They seating is a lot better. Not sitting with random strangers no more. They food still need a lil work tho. Waiter forgot i ordered buffalo wings . they came out regular. Food was alright

My only complaint would be the sitting situation. Some of the chairs are facing the complete opposite way of the stage. The chairs also feel like they came off of the Titanic. They are hardwood chairs with little to no padding. The aisles are also pretty small and narrow. If you are a bigger person, then you are going to feel very cramped and squished. Other than the seating, its a great and fun place to go to on date night. The ticket prices are reasonable, the food is great, and the drinks are delicious. If it wasnt for the super uncomfortable chairs, and the weird seating arrangement, then I would give them 5/5 stars.

Great atmosphere and never disappoints. A mix of entertainers each weekend. Just seen Jon Lovitz and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Food and drinks are good. Dropped in for comedy and fellowship. Theres a bar/arcade next door that was great for waiting your show to start, or for a drink afterwards. Ill be back.

Great place and great staff. Im sure they arent making as much on tickets but i love the new spacing between tables.

Get there early. First come first serve seating. Great food and drinks for a decent show price. Servers are great. It does get warm while in show so wear light clothes. You will be in a tighter space with people right next to you so don’t take a lot of stuff (coats,big purses).

The Improv is the best large comedy club in the city and always has my favorite headliners. I always try to keep up with their lineup so I dont miss out.

Good show. Servers were pretty good about keeping up with us. The menu and food were excellent! They pack everyone in pretty tight. Im 6 230lbs and the seating left a lot to be desired. I was in a chair and had to rotate my chair 180° to see the stage which wasnt too much of a problem until I needed to grab my drink or something to snack on from my table behind me. Couldnt stretch my legs out or i wouldve taken out a server or someone heading to or from the restroom. Id definitely do it again but i would choose a different spot to sit if i could.

Not a bad place but then again not many comedy clubs around anymore. Could use a couple more servers and there is a zero refund policy which I could see being a issue. They will seat you with other people or people with you. My wife and I were seated with another couple at a table for two. If you wanted to eat dinner there this could be next to impossible.

The Staff was on point. Corey Holcomb did not disappoint. Great times to break up the pandemic monotony.

Not impressed! Bought tickets to a show recently and due to bad weather and even highway patrol urging people to stay off the roads we were not able to make it to the show.I called and thought they may cancel due to road conditions but they said they would still have the show and there would be no kind of refund! Good way to look out for your customers! So we were taken for $50! Great job doing business guys.........

Great venue to watch a comedy show. The wait staff was friendly but did not really do a great job. I asked for a refill on my water several times when she asked if I needed anything. She got other people at my table a drink refill but my guess is because the drink was beer. Food was so-so, fries were little over cooked. Overall great little place.

Nice place to relax n laugh

First time going. Staff was great. Drinks were good. Didnt get food but the couple at the table with us didnt seem to care for the food. Didnt expect for a meet an greet. That was a big bonus.

Received free tickets to the 7:30 show. There were 3 comedians that put on a good performance. I ate dinner there, the wing basket and a strawberry mango daiquiri. The meal and drink were good

Improv was great. Kev Onstage was a blessing. The food was ok, nothing special. The waiters walk infront of you the whole show so be ready. All the comedians performed well.

Show up late if you want better seats. They fill the front and then the back. The cheapest thing on the menu is $7 and thats not soda. With $25 tickets (base) plan on a couple having a $100 evening.

Really great ambiance and service. Comedians were also good. Planning on going back the next couple weeks.

It was a long drive from Iowa for a night show, but it was so worth it in the long run. Bryan Callen.... your a funny man thank you for the experiance. Plus you can go play some arcade before or after a show. Whats not to love.

Had a great time. Seating priorities are a bit weird, seem to revolve around cleanup ease for staff rather than customer comfort/viewability, but we laughed a bunch and is why we were there.

I absolutely adore this place. My old lady and I are here all the tim. There are local comics, comics youve never heard of from other places as well as big names like Bob Saget and John Witherspoon. The seating is a bit tight, but they dont tolerate heckling or unclassy behavior. You can get improv glasses as souvenirs after ordering specialty drinks and if you sign up for their text club or whatever you call it they sometimes offer free tickets.The food is really good - I recommend the chicken 3 ways - and the drinks are great. The service is not as fast as in a restaurant but thats because the staff is walking around a dimmed room during the show and making attempts to not step on anyone or anything. I will say that 18% gratuity has historically been included on the bill, so double check this before calculating your own tip.We got to need Rob Snyder and shake his hand here, and we also saw our new favorite comedian Ali Sidiq who we had not heard of prior to seeing his show. All in all I highly recommend this place to people who want a classy place for a date or simply want to enjoy a fun night out.

Not a bad seat in the house; send to have sustained a billing of quality acts to headline prime times and assort new or regional comics intermingled... Food and beverage offerings arent bad, but the priceline for them is reminiscent of a gouge one is accustomed to from a modern multi-cinema visit when with sweettoothed children.....

Always a great time. We saw Jordan Jackson and he was super funny. My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. Weve seen several other people here. They have some big name acts and the area is small and quaint. You get to be up close with the performer. Definitely a go to if we need a good laugh.

It was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. The area itself is a little small, but it makes for a warm and cozy atmosphere....much like being at home. The drinks and food were reasonably priced. A member from hospitality services will take your order and bring to your table....nothing for you to do but eat, drink, and laugh your head off. Thats my two cents....hope to see you there.

If I could leave -0 star I would! will never due business here again. Due to their card readers not working there was a 3 week pre-authorization hold on my account that I was unaware of. When they finally decided to take the money out it left a negative balance on my account. I was told that it wasn’t their fault and out of their control. I am still waiting to hear back from them with a better solution to an issue they caused. My tables tab was more than $300 PLUS we tipped. With that being said, the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional. You have lost 3 customers FOR SURE!

I chose to buy the promotional value tickets but came later than expected. I assumed that it meant you may not have a seat available but that wasnt the case. When I got to the window, Haley the manager said that we had to pay full price for all tickets and that they had seats. Meo at the booth was aVERY disrespectful. I could understand if no seats were available, but to charge full price when seats were available is definitely a fraud. This is not a place to come off of promotional value. I come here often and to think I was being offered tickets as a valued guest makes me want to never come here again. STAY AWAY!!!!!

It is always a joyous time when at the KC Improv! This place is always clean, has a friendly staff, and offers a great selection of food and drinks. Michael Colyer was everything I thought he would be and more. He was hilarious! I hope to visit again for D.L.!

The show was very entertaining. Seating arrangement wasnt as good. I am below average in height and there were some pretty tall people seated in front of me and my party so sight lines were a problem. I realize GA seating can be challenging like that but it can effect the enjoyment of a live show like this.

This is always a good place to unwind and laugh till your side hurts. We enjoy it every time we go. We were there March 16, and both comics were very funny! Our waiter Jeremy was very nice and quick. Take a friend and have a good night.

I liked the food a lot. The main act (JP Sears) was really good! We really enjoyed his act. The opening acts werent that great. Im giving it four stars for the food and JP.

Been there twice now and had a blast watch time. Service is decent if a little slow sometimes but the food made it for it. Try the Bernie Mac & Cheese, you wont be disappointed. I got it with pulled pork but you might skip it because I didnt think they put enough meat in for the upcharge. It was delicious regardless.

This is a great venue for comedy. Not a bad seat in the house. The food is good and the wait staff hustles to get your orders and keep a fresh drink in your hand. The adjacent arcade bar is also a nice place to wait for or reminisce after the show.

Horrible food and way overpriced!! Do not buy the VIP we did and we were completely on the side of the of the stage and couldn’t even see the comedians and you should get to meet the comedians and actually don’t get to!! $125 to get in and $75 for wings and fries and they were so horrible we didn’t eat it!!

Dont Ever buy the VIP Tickets, Got Screwed big time because there was no meet and greet ,the line was just formed with anyone who wanted to meet the comedian, no special treatment at all ,Spoke to the Manager and she didnt even give me a good explanation, So we got ripped off totally!!!

They always have good acts! The food is quite good but I wish they offered a vegan main dish. The wait staff all seem good also.

Seating wasnt very comfortable. Server got my order wrong, then kept my change without asking, on top of the already included gratuity.

Was our first time there. If you want to sit next to friends, get in line next to them. Great atmosphere and not a bad seat in the place. Highly recommend this kind of venue over a theater type setting.

The show was great. But our serive was horrible. Kept getting our order wrong. Than when we asked for a manager. We never got a chance to talk one. And we was told he would come out after the show. Never came.

The only reason I dont give five stars is because the tables are so cramped. I understand theyre trying to squeeze as many people in as possible, but its really the only thing that keeps me from going more often. Maybe if you dont have horrible social anxiety, its not a big deal, but I wouldnt know anything about that!

Our first time here and we had a blast. There was a mixed crowd from 20 somethings to young 60 year old and everyone seemed to have fun. The comedians were hilarious and really fed off the audience. We will be back to see many more shows.

Lavell Crawford was amazing

Everyones food at the table was not good, do not order any chicken here for sure, strips, wings or popcorn chicken, all not good. The blueberry habanero sauce that came with the wings was good but everything else was not. I would recommend eating before you go to a show here, the service of the staff was good there but the food was not.

The comic was fun. Food and service was better than expected. Connected to a huge arcade. Made a great double date. Size is about right. Its healthy to laugh.

Its a nice looking facility and its always clean. BUT they cram too many people in the room like sardines. Seating is too close and uncomfortable. But they also bring some great comedians to town.

Had a blast seeing TJ Miller! Did not appreciate people cutting through the bathroom hall to cut in line in front of customers who stood outside for 45 minutes to get a good seat. They definitely need to toss out the drunks in the theater side. But the wait staff and food were great. Love how intimate it was.

I had to wrestle between a 3 and a 4 star here. While I understand this place cannot control the weather but should be able to control when the doors open. Our tickets said the doors open at 9pm for the show we were going to see. We got stuck in a massive rainstorm. When the doors finally did open at about 9:20pm our ticket was soaked. The positive thing the staff did here was let all of the people waiting in the rain go in first. (There was a bar next door that you could stand in while waiting) We got inside and they had the A/C running which was not good since 75% of the audience was drenched from standing in the storm. The waiter only came around to take orders twice. The second time I was still working on my drink and didnt need another at that moment. The third time he came around was to collect payment. There was still plenty of time left in the show. What was cool though the main performer we were there to see stuck around to do free pics and free autographs. Ticket prices were not terrible though for what we got to see.

Great comedians. Typically a good time. It will be hot and you will be crammed into a table with complete strangers who may or may not be friendly and respectful of space. We enjoy the comedy but not the environment. Wish they would invest in more comfortable seating and allow some space to relax and enjoy the show. We would go much more often!

Its always a good time when I go. The only downside is automatic gratuity added to your bill. Thats not cool. I mean like what if the service sucks? Should I still tip that much? I dont care for establishments that tell me that Im required to pay a certain amount towards a server. It should be at my discretion.
