If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The staff is so friendly (Ashley if you see this lets be bffs) I had the best time and LOVE the games. ♡ Maddi was also super awesome and sweet to us while we went through the rooms!

So much fun!!! A tad bit expensive for my normal outing but so worth it!!!!! We tried The heist we only had a few steps left to complete. I will return.

I visited The Escape Game on my birthday on November 3 and it was amazing. The staff was fantastic. The game, Playground, was super fun and equally difficult despite being a 6/10 on the difficulty level. My group of 5 escaped with about half a second left! I will certainly be coming back to The Escape Game!! Thanks again.

Awesome place for family. My children and I did the Golden Rush. It was a wonderful experience! From walking in to completion, the Escape Game was one of the experience that I will remember for a long time. We are definitely coming back for the the playroom. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I cant say enough about how blown away I was with the great experience we had here this weekend. We were a group of 5 whose birthdays all fall within 2 weeks of each other. The staff here went above and beyond making this a memorable experience from the personalization of some of the clues to the special gift at the end after we escaped. 100% top notch! Omg this was so fun. It was our first time playing. I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday and at the end they had his gift that I brought in earlier to surprise him!! This was our first experience at an Escape Room. The experience was great. The staff was the best. They were super professional and very friendly. The puzzle room itself was great. It was very challenging which is what we wanted. We would definitely recommend it to others and would go back again!

This is the best escape room in Jacksonville so far. We did the Prison Break room and it was super engaging and the puzzles were logical and never left us thinking “how does that even make sense?” Of course, we still used all our hints but with the help of our room master we were able to make it out with 55 seconds to spare! We had five people in our group and I think that was a good amount of people without it being too many. Highly recommend this place! It’s very clean, aesthetic and the puzzles were very engaging!

This was our first experience at The Escape game and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted right away, and the location has done a great job with social distancing and sanitation. Maddi was our game guide and she added an extra layer of personality that enhanced our experience. We made it out of The Heist - and it was not easy! We had to use clues, but that makes me want to go back and beat my time without the clues. If you have an hour to have fun, challenge your mind and bond with your teammates, then BOOK THIS NOW!!!

My son kept begging to go to an escape room so after reading some reviews we decided to try this place. It was our first experience and my expectation was that it would be some silly puzzle games. We started the game and we found ourselves completely immersed in the experience. The detail of the room was amazing and the problems to solve were very challenging and fun! Our game guide was Cierra and she was super awesome to work with! We returned the same day for another escape room and returned a couple weeks later with my wife and daughter to experience this amazing place. We can’t wait to schedule the last two rooms at this place, we are hooked!

We went to the escape game Jax for a fun date night with some friends, after finishing our first room and escaping with 12 minutes to spare we went and grabbed dinner and had to come back for another ! This was so fun and really immersive! We did the special ops and then our second room was their hardest room jail break. It was definitely hard but we finished with 6 minutes to spare ! Not without clues ! Our game master was Eliza and she really helped us out. Her clue giving was top notch and we really had so much fun!

The Escape Game is the best escape room company. Period. I’m an escape game enthusiast and have completed ~65 games across multiple states. The quality you get with The Escape Game is second to none. It sets the bar extremely high and I’ve only met one other company that even comes somewhat close to them. During my short visit in Jacksonville, I noticed this location had a game that I hadn’t played before (Playground) so I stopped in and played. This location lived up to the quality that I’ve grown to expect (or hope for) across all escape companies. If this is your first time doing an escape room, The Escape Game is going to set the bar extremely high for future escape games. If this isn’t you’re first escape game, I promise you’re going to be extremely impressed because they truly are in their own category when it comes to quality. My favorite escape games with The Escape Game are: Prison and Gold Rush — and I really enjoyed Playground too!

This was our first time at The Escape Game and we loved it!! We were greeted in a friendly and engaging manner by Nolan at the front desk who gave us a rundown of the difficulty levels, suggested appropriate experiences for our group size, and shared his own favorite choices. The environment was immersive and convincing (we completed the Gold Rush experience). Collin was our game guide and he did a great job of encouraging us before, during, and after the game. He made recommendations for our next choice of experience based on how we did in the Gold Rush. We had a great time and will definitely return to do the other experiences! My family had a GREAT, GREAT, time at the Escape Game. We completed the gold rush as a team with 10 minutes to spare and we had a lot of fun doing it! It was cool to have an adventure within an air conditioned space! We will definitely be back!

This place is so awesome. My boyfriend and I did the special ops “mysterious market” room and it was so immersive and exciting. The room even SMELLED like a middle eastern bazaar, the decor and props were perfect! Every thing about this room impressed me and I can’t wait to go back and try the gold rush room!

It was much harder than I expected, but it was fun none the less. It was mine and my husbands first time, ever. You need a mind like a detective... We do not, obviously. The guide could see we needed more help than what we probably shouldve and she gave us more than enough clues to help us. At least try it to see how good you are. Its fun. Im sure, the more people the marrier. We were limited, because of this pandemic. Just do it.

Hand down the MOST fun we have had at an escape room!! it was so interactive and engaging from the moment we walked in. the staff was friendly and welcoming...the rooms were clean and private...AND it was a multi-riom challenge!! so so so cool. we are already planning our return adventures!!! thanks for an AWESOME family fun day!!!

We have visited several other Escape Rooms in different cities across the U.S. and this establishment, by far, is THE BEST! Staff is awesome, very clean, games are challenging and fun and filled with surprises.

Great room, challenging but not too far fetched

This place is one of my favorites by far! They have the coolest rooms! I have done all but one of their rooms. Gold rush is my favorite room so far! These rooms are very well thought out and a blast!

Unless you have 4 people or more, I suggest going on the weekdays cause they require you pay for 4 people on the weekends even if theres only 2 people.

We took a group of friends to play their game Prison Break, and it was a blast! Collin was our game guide, and he was very kind and professional. We were able to escape, but even if we didn’t, it still would have been so much fun. Thank you for giving us a great experience!

Saturday at 7:30 oct 24 2020. Me and my husband went in to see if we could get in without a reservation we waited behind a party ahead of us for 15 mins and the girl at the front never addressed us then another party came behind us and she begins helping the party behind us . Not once did she address us let us know she would be with us shortly or anything. Disappointed due to the fact I really wanted to go !

This is the best escape room place Ive been to. Lockbusters Orlando was good but this room in Jax was even better! Very well put together puzzles.

Its always cool to do escape rooms in different areas and see the deep thought of the puzzles by the creators. These things are works of art really. We did the special ops room here and I have to say it was one of the best Ive been to. Ive done probably 7 or 8 in different parts of the US and this one was put together very well. Definitely try the rooms here if your into escape rooms. You wont be disappointed from signing up to making it out before time runs out. Great job !

I had a really good time here! The employees were incredibly kind. We did the Gold Rush room. It was challenging with only two people, but it was so much fun! We will definitely come back to try a few more of the rooms.

We visited The Escape Game tonight and had the best time. We played the Playground room and it was so much fun! We loved how interactive the room is. The room is challenging but fun to play. This is the second room at The Escape Game that I have played but was a first for several in our group. We made it out but it was very fast paced. I cant wait to try their other rooms. Everyone there was very nice and made the experience better.

We ESCAPED the game of Gold Rush! Gold Rush was a thrilling experience of well thought out clues, lots of adrenaline, and an amazing activity to partake in. Our game coordination Eliza was amazing, she walked us through everything that we needed to know before the game and answered all of the questions that we had before starting. This was such a great experience for my friends and I, we all highly recommend this game and this place!

Went in to do The Heist Saturday night for my wifes birthday with friends and we are hooked! The staff at The Escape Game are awesome! Wasnt expecting anything extra but they provided my wife with a birthday card, gift card, special birthday pin, and she even got a special I Escaped on my Birthday sticker that Im a bit jealous about.We had never done an escape room and had no clue what to expect. We were kind of dreading being stuck in a small room for an hour but it was actually multiple rooms and everyone in our group had a hand in the activitys. No one was left out and everyone was able to contribute to escaping The Heist.Finally felt like those years of playing Zelda have finally payed off. Cant wait to go back for me. The only deterrent is the cost but it was worth it. We all had a great time. Thank you!

Clues for some of the rooms just do not connect. Its literally luck and just plain looking around. No figuring out really needed. Finding one clue does not connect to another in any way and you constantly find yourself at square one over and over. Did Gold Rush, special Ops, and Prison Break apnd am an avid Escape room player. Escaped two of the rooms above.

Out of all the escape room locations Ive been to in the past I must say this is the most detailed out of all in Jacksonville. Myself and party I was with completed the playground room and prison break. If your up for a nice challenge I fully reccomend prison break. The staff is very considerate and very professional. From the moment I walked in the front desk lady was very welcoming and just made my night ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. A night I wont forget.

Such a great experience. We cleared the heist escape room in 42 minutes but that is probably a combination of getting lucky with a couple puzzles and working well as a team. Amber our host was awesome and the room was clean, well maintained and really really fun. First escape room experience and it definitely wont be our last. Well be back next time were in Jax. Great job to all involved!

We did the Prison Escape which is level 10, very difficult and very dark. I wouldn’t do it again.

I highly recommend The Escape Game! I’ve been to a lot of escape rooms in Jacksonville and The Escape Game is by far the best one! I love how detailed the rooms are. It truly makes you feel you are there. The staff is very friendly and they are also kid friendly which is a huge plus in my book.

Awesome. I’ve done A LOT of escape rooms around the country and the globe, and the one I did here with my partner (special ops: mysterious market) was top notch. Definitely among the best of the best. Even with a little kerfuffle of technology it was still SO fun, challenging, unique, and exciting. The staff were friendly, understanding, and generous in their remedy of our tech issues. I appreciated the room’s technical elements, much more than just locks and keys, and the communication screen vs old school walkie-talkies used at some establishments. If I lived close, I’d definitely be back to try the other rooms. Thank you guys!!

Oh my gosh, we had sooooo much fun doing The Playground escape room!!! It was tough but not TOO OVERLY hard. We escaped with 9 minutes remaining. Incredibly well designed and decorated. The staff was also very friendly. We want to go back and do all the rooms now. Highly recommend this place!!!

This place is amazing! For about the same amount of money it would cost you for a trip to the movies to see something you dont even know if youll like this is a GUARANTEED great time that you will remember for the rest of your life, with an INTERACTIVE experience! This was such a fun, yet challenging experience! You get to have fun while using some untapped skills/potential. I recommend going with a group of at least 4-5 for sure to really add some excitement and it’s such a versatile concept because it can be a work function, team building, small outing, family fun,.. anyone and everyone can go here! This place is incredible! Went 2 weekends in a row. The 3D room mapping option on their website is such a cool feature. If you are planning on doing an escape room soon, this is definitely the place to go. Hopefully you get Andres! Hes funny and definitely made it a lot of fun!

I played playground tonight with my family and it was so much more than I expected. I didnt think that I would enjoy something like this but The Escape Game proved me wrong. First time trying one of these escape rooms. Expected to hate it and ended up loving it. We did prison break, highly recommended although very difficult. The decor and back story really help you feel like youre playing an escaping convict. I didnt get to finish the room but I would easily pay the $30 to come back and finish it.

We did the special ops marketplace room and it was insanely detailed and exciting! Plus all the staff were knowledgeable, sweet, and helpful! Cant wait to do all the other rooms :)

Ive done a few escape rooms and this has been the best one by far. The quality of the rooms and attention to detail is great. Puzzles were difficult, but not impossible, friendly staff, and positive atmosphere. A great experience all around!

I will say this. I have done quite a few escape rooms In the Florida area. Some were very good, some were good, some were just ok and some were not worth the effort to go back. This place is beyond very good.. rooms were fun and staff were well trained. One of their game masters stood out more than the others. Her name is Lisa.. says a lot about someone if I remembered her name. Very informative and helpful. Keep up the great work

I had never done an escape room Before and I am so glad this was our first experience. We did the prison break room and even though it was hard we had such a wonderful time. The room was so detailed and you really had to work together as a team. We were able to escape with some hints but it was close. Can’t wait to go back! Already bought a gift card!! I also can’t say enough about the staff. The two guys were wonderful. So friendly and helpful and really made the experience what it was!

This was an exciting experience for my friends and I and I highly recommend it! Believe me, this game is challenging, but it’s absolutely worth it. My friends and I escaped the prison with little time to spare. Teamwork is a necessity! Definitely a great activity to do as a group if you’re looking for a creative, mystery-oriented game. This was my first experience with an escape room and it was awesome! We had so much fun! We did Special Ops. It was challenging but fun and extremely creative. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room was incredible! I loved that there was a story line and that we were working towards a goal in the story rather than just trying to get out. We all wanted to go back in and do another room after we left. I’ve already invited another group of friends to go! Highly recommend!

Amazing as always. We have now played THE ESCAPE GAME in Orlando, Jacksonville, and Nashville (Atlanta coming soon too). Tonight we played Special Ops, and it was such a well designed game. Details were over the top, and use literally ALL your senses. The second part of the game featured some incredible technology that I have never seen attempted in an escape room. This is NOT a generic lock and combination style cheesy escape room. TEG takes time to develop and produce the best games in the industry, so full of details and offers a completely different experience with every game.Tonight our game guide was Liz, and she was so full of energy. We cant wait to see her in Atlanta for their new store. She is going to do great as the manager there. After the game we got to meet the the actual owner of THE ESCAPE GAME who was in town for the grand opening. Such a great experience!
