First time in one of this attractions.Better than I was expecting and was really impressed. Definitely recommend. Recommend to take wipes to clean hands after feeding some animals, and water to wash them after the safari. Safari is at least 1 ½ hour and will need at least 3 bags of feed to entertain animals along the way. Camels (biggest animals there and might need at least ½ bag of feed) are at the end.

We took our thee year old granddaughter on Sunday afternoon. She liked to feed the baby deer from the window. Really nice drive from home, only about 40 minutes. Will have to go again soon. Suggest taking a truck or suv, but plenty of cars and mini vans make it just fine.

We drove 3 hours to this safari and it did not disappoint. The facilities are clean, the welcome center where you pay is easy to find and hassle free. The animals were lively and hungry. The safari trail is easy to follow and takes you on a route that allows you to interact with lots of animals. The staff is friendly and did their best to keep the cars moving. You stay in your car the whole time so it was definitely pandemic friendly. It was a very enjoyable safe day.

Easy directions, tidy site (even the port-a-potties!), and so many animals! We took advice from other reviewers to arrive before 11:00, and it was perfect. Great socially distanced activity! (Note:At least one adult will have to exit the car to pay) we’ll be back soon!

This was one in a lifetime experience! I really liked this safari. You can get 4 bags of animal food depending on how many people you are going with. It might take between 1-2 hours to finish the whole safari. Once you are in, you can go back in after you are done as much as times you want before the safari closes.

Place is nice enough. Animals look healthy and the site is family friendly, but basically its a lot of deer and 2000 cars in front of you, all stopping randomly (in areas that say no stopping zone) to observe every squirrel, deer, hog, bird and lizard they see. Youre just sitting. In traffic. I probably would not have driven two hours to come here if I knew 2000 cars would stop to rubberneck every single one of animals on site. I guess a lot of people have never seen deer before. Other than that, we enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed our drive through Cherokee Trace Safari. It took about 1.5 hours. We saw lots of 4 legged and some 2 legged anamils. The place was well maintained. It is a great social distancing activity. However, some of the animals have not been watching the news. They literally stick their heads into your vehicle looking for food and if you dont watch out, they will take off with the bag of food that is provided for each person. As clearly instructed by Cheeokee Trace, we do not recommend feeding the animals from your hand. Even though they seem tame, they are still wild animals.

We had a great time. This place is huge! Beautiful setting for these amazing animals. I brought it down one star bc the price was a bit steep and there was not much else to do except drive through the property. Many of the other drive-thru safaris Ive been to have additional activities for about the same price. Also, there is not much variety of animals. Mostly deer.

Great place for an adventure with your family. We took a 2 and 3 year old. They rode in the front seats with us and absolutely loved this experience. There are tons of deer and deer like creatures but our favorites were the zebras and the donkeys! We got extra bags of feed so we wouldnt run out but we were stingy at first and had some food left over. We should have been more generous for the first half of the adventure. Super fun! Would highly recommend!I do wish they had some sort of signs throughout the drive that gave you an idea of how far you were through the drive (like .1 miles out of 2 OR 10%).

This place was a great adventure for the family, especially during these crazy times! The welcome center was very clean, super friendly and quick, not too much standing around. First time doing something like this and it did not disappoint, the kids loved it! We drove about 3 hours to get there and will definitely be returning! Trail was clean, animals were very frindly and lively the entire time! I would suggest going earlier in the day if youre going in the summer, we got there a bit before nooon but as we were leaving you could see more animals resting in shade. It took us about 2 hours to complete the drive thru but it was well worth it, especially if youre from the city and arent used to seeing animals like these in places besides the zoo. Not a complete 5 star because I do think it is a bit overpriced, they really dont give too much feed for the animals either.

If youre looking for a nice drive thru safari, this is definitely one you should go to. in my opinion, its way better for fossil rim and worth the money! you get one bag of feed with each adult ticket purchase (not sure about kids) which is basically fun for the whole family! all the animals here are very friendly, and they are quite curious too. they will playfully follow the car and look through your windows. the road is very easy to drive on, and the road signs are clear as well. if i had the time, i would definitely come back!(beware of this deer! he is very friendly but is a big eater. throw pellets outside rather than letting them eat from the bag. he ate the rest of the bag and even the bag itself, haha. he is around the front of the gate when you first drive through the entrance.)

What a beautiful and well kept place! The animals are in great condition and are very well cared for. We drove thru with only the free bags of food and I wish we wouldve gotten more. The animals came up to the car and very gently nudged their noses inside to smell for feed. We followed all instructions given to us by the clerk and the overall experience was really fun and exciting. Over 300 acres & 700 animals! They are all waiting to meet you face to face ! Takes about 2 hours to travel thru at no more than 10 mph. You can stop and spend time where ever you want , if the traffic they is not to busy. We did a Sunday after noon and we saw maybe 5-7 others cars winding thru property.

Our family of 5 just finished the safari. It was so fun and the whole family was entertained. Tons of animals to see of all kinds. The length of the Safari was satisfying too, it was the perfect length. The animals looked well taken care of, the grounds were well maintained, and the gift shop pricing was very reasonable. Their staff were very friendly. Apparently there was a tornado that came through about a week before our visit. The area looked like they took care of the damage quickly. We were actually entertained by the twisted trees and other branches that were from the storm. It gave it character without making it look bad or unkempt. Very fun experience for me, my Mom and 2 boys. The downfall was we waited almost 2 hours in line just to get in the gates to stand in another line to purchase tickets. The staff were very rude. When we first hit the trail to feed our second animal to come across we were chased down by someone in a golf cart telling us to not hold up the line, when there wasnt anyone waiting for us behind us to go. Just shortly after that, the same man who worked there on the golf cart came telling us to keep moving when we were feeding animals just as we had driven an hour to do, waited in 2 long lines for, and paid 60.00 dollars to do. I would have given them a 5 star rating because the animals were amazing and we had so much fun because of them, but the staff were piss poor when it came to their customer service, especially as first time guests!
