Good food. Haven’t been to Jacksonville in 16 years and enjoyed a good lunch on the balcony.

SURPRISE $350 CHARGE!!! Backstory: I was receiving orders to Okinawa, and decided to terminate my membership. Over the phone, they said they needed my orders in hand. A few weeks later, they called and said they would terminate my membership and to bring my orders in when I received them. This brings us to the end of September. Apparently, they had a meeting about losing money during this COVID period, and took it upon themselves to charge each and every member $200 extra all taken at once. Additionally, they never terminated my membership, and charged me the $150 on top of it all. PCS’ing to Okinawa is stressful, and a surprise $350 taken from my account only added to the stress. When I called about this, they said they needed a 30 notice to terminate memberships, which gives them ANOTHER $150 for yet another month I will not be partaking in anything with the Jacksonville Country Club. This will add up to be a total of $750 of my money this organization will have taken from me, where I have had no affiliation or utilized any of their commodities. Sly in their contract, I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your County Club selection.

Quality course that was well maintained. Bunkers could have used some work but the rain has been bad lately. The greens were fast and receptive to all types of ball flight. Great day overall.

Loved the experience New Years eve. The band was great. Bartender and service was great. Only negative was the potatoes and pasta on the buffet were room temp. Not very warm. Was overall a great experience and would do it again.

Beautiful private golf course and country club. Members enjoy a full service bar, great food, spacious club house, pool and pro shop. The greens are always in fantastic condition and well worth the cost of membership to any regular golfer.

Lunch today at JCC was okay! I just wished the menu would change a little. The menu has been the same for many years. Its time for something different and new, it may bring more members in and golfers. I know Gary could definitely work his magic on a fresh,new lunch menu. He is the best and really cares about what he served us.

I golf there often. Paying your bill is a pleasure because the administers in the office are very nice. The staff is friendly-Holden and Pete are true golf professionals. The course maintenance is great. The bar is well stocked servers/bartenders like saline provide great service. The food is tasty and priced right. I alway HIGHLY recommend this course. If you go once-you will come again.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in the grill room on December 29th, 2018 and it was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating . The food was delicious and tasty. The house manager (Chrissy Wallace) was a pleasure to work with. She was polite and professional. Great Job!

Lots of poison sumac everywhere. Spent 90$ at Dr. office today. I have it all over my legs and ankles. Its the only place I have been outside in the last week.

Had a nice round of golf with my oldest son. Nice course. Will play again on July 3rd. Course is in very good condition. Nice fairways and greens.

This is my home course. I love the layout and the club house staff is the best. Professional Holden Abrams is tremendous. The food is great, too.

The food was outstanding this evening for the First National Bank and Bank of NC reunion. Made for a great evening. Thanks to management and staff.

Drove nearly 400 miles to attend a catered birthday celebration on June 30, 2018 at the Jacksonville Country Club at 2201 Country Club, Jacksonville NC. Nice place, location, atmosphere, and parking. The luncheon was the Country Club s catered Italian themed buffet style luncheon consisting of salad, plain pasta noodles, marinara egg plant, lasagna, chicken patties smothered in gravy with mushrooms and marinara pasta sauce. My husband and I am great food critics and I can tell nearly every ingredient in a dish, while he focuses on end results of flavor and texture. Wanted to rate 5 stars, but must take off 2 stars because the marinara pasta sauce burned/scorched so bad and for a while causing the awful burn/scorched taste to spread throughout the sauce. It ruined the whole batch of sauce. And when you add the burnt tasting pasta sauce to any food like I did on my pasta noodles, lasagna, and meatballs, I essentially ruined my entire plate/meal. My son, husband and others did the same. My whole table complaining because we couldnt eat The lunch and to embarrassed to set the plates to the side and fix new plates. Smh. We had to go out and buy lunch afterwards.The host of the event deserves some sort of partial refund!Nobody attending the event got up to get/eat seconds. It was a lot of food wasted because of the burnt pasta sauce.The cook(s) should be ashamed of him/herself for allowing the burnt sauce to be served to a room full of people that traveled hundreds of miles to celebrate and eat with the guest of honor.Bad catering practices!

Lovely atmosphere but our food was not good. Our dessert (cobbler) was way undercooked and inedible. I was surprised that the club didnt offer to bring out a replacement of some kind. Hopefully we had a rare bad experience.

Awesome gold club & course!

I have a hard time believing that Mike and Grace treat everyone like they treated me. I felt like ROYALTY!! They held my hand every step of the way. I changed my mind 40 times for decorations and they were as patient as ever. They went above and beyond! All I had to do was tell them the feeling I was going for and they worked it all out. They ensured my whole day was perfect and made sure everything was planned perfectly. I would book here again only if I could have them two to work with!

Great group of people there. Fun and challenging golf course in good condition.

Great golf course with lots of potential, my only issues are that the cart paths need a lot of work, absolutely terrible golf paths. Also, a lot of the old water hazards have been overgrown dont look as good as they did when they were nice clean ponds.

Very beautiful place. Quite small though.

My Rotary meets there every Thursday and we get great food and terrific service.

The course is in good condition but it needs some work. The cart paths and much of the course is very rough, as in bounce you out of a cart rough. They seem to have decided to not work on the water hazards and just let them become way over grown with weeds. The water hazards use to look really good. Hopefully in the future they will fix that.
