Lots to see and do here! LOVED the Kombucha at Piper and Leaf. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. *the buildings are recreations* You should stop by on any Huntsville downtown tour.

Well Ive been here several times for Santas Village, this was supposed to be where they were holding the Halloween Bash, but it ended up at Earlyworks. Which Ive been there before also, but its changed since my son was a child. My 3 year old daughter loved and it was very enjoyable. I would do it again. Honestly looking forward to Santas Village she hasnt been yet!!! ️

New renovations were unimpressive, the area seemed the same way I remember it from years ago. The hour guided tour was extremely tedious. My kids were getting very anxious toward the end. I dont understand why people who are supposed to dress in character wear their own jewelry and showcase their short modern haircuts--minor complaint, but I think it does speak to the value and historical integrity of the whole experience.

This review is specifically about the 2018 Santas Village. I went there with the grand kids tonight. The craft trailer was a joke. Each kid got a bell they could tie a ribbon to. The cookie decoration was even worse. There were cookies sitting out the kids could squirt white frosting onto - and nothing else! And snow? It was a bubble machine! This was just a $7.00 per person cash grab!

Love the work theyve been doing in this area. They continue to improve one of the most historic sites in the state. Also glad Piper and Leaf has opened a location there!

We go every Christmas. They go above and beyond for the holiday decor. Its beautiful. They did fake snow and the children love it. They had live music and love demonstration at the forge. The gift shop is great, really puts you in the spirit. Their santa looks awesome and kids love the reindeer.

I really like the way they have opened up the park and enjoyed the Saturday evening program. I think I missed ads for this and the concerts, so Ill be watching next year.

What a cute place! Very festive Visiting Santa to take pictures, seeing all the reindeer, and Mrs. Clause reading The Night Before Christmas was wonderful. Definitely making this a yearly tradition!

The kids love Santas village. Its been the same for nearly two decades but you cant complain for a cheap night out with kids. Outside of Christmas I like going for lessons of history about the city. Great history lesson but boring if youre not interested in that kind of stuff. Not much for hands on learning.

I accompanied my daughter on a field trip here. The Santa’s Village has a sign that says “Slaves Quarters.” The manager stated “We usually cover it up.” This was an extremely insensitive response and Me, along with several parents were all offended. This is a child friendly place and definitely wasn’t the time for me to explain a horrible time in history. I will be making a formal complaint. We will not be returning.

I went ahead and gave this five stars even though I technically didnt get to tour it when we went as they were preparing the village for the Christmas season. But my husband and I could see some of the buildings from the sidewalk and such, and we will be returning.

I enjoyed it very much. However I dont think it was as fascinating to my two kids who where 19 & 15 at the time. Or maybe they just didnt have the same level of appreciation for that time period as I did. I think it may have been better had we gone w/ a group.
