Fantastic job by the HOUSTON Parks & Recreation for creating an awesome public ambience and venue along Buffalo Bayou for urban communal prosperity via events, nature, exercise, local commerce, and more!

Lame. Just an old water tank. Hot and humid inside. If you want to stand In hot humid weather to see an old concrete structure you can pretty much go anywhere in Houston no need to go here.

My wife and I came here after Houston opened parks after the quarantine. We had a tour of the underground cistern, everyone practiced social distancing and we felt safe, wearing our masks of course. Once thi gs go back to normal Ill bring my kids too.

This hidden gem is an incredible spot. Ive lived in Houston for over 20 years and never knew this existed until recently. The weekend that I was here, it was really cold and windy, but I imagine its much nicer in the Spring. I think you can rent this area out for parties since my cousin had a party here for his daughter. Definitely a great place to hang out or for a picnic.

This area is bustling with joggers, cyclists, various food trucks, and textures of green space and plants to enjoy. An upper level provides a unique vantage point over the park and has a good view of the downtown skyline. Picnic tables provide refuge for a quick lunch or snack with friends or coworkers.
