The Conservancy isnt living up to its promise to preserve the park. Theyre spending millions of dollars for a flashy bridge while currently destroying 30 year old natural trails! These trails have brought endless joy to so many and its a crime that theyre ruining them. If they cant save and preserve these trails, maybe someone else should be doing it.

This Houstons largest running park (and maybe park period). I seldom visit due to the distance away from home. But I do enjoy the yearly Brunch Run that allows me to take a small part of the parks beauty. It is well kept, fresh air, peaceful and lots of space to run.

They aren’t conserving anything. They are destroying trails. Actually spending your donations to block and destroy 30 year old trails.

$6M renovation to Memorial Park to tear down trees, install fencing to block out remaining trees, add paid parking that no one uses, and pave over remaining greenspace to ensure the surrounding park floods all the time. Great job guys

Aug. 8, the swallows have settled down, but the night crested herons seem restless. The females seem to be finally leaving their nests... Always on the look out for you infamous moped.

As hot as hell itself in the summer. Trailhead is beautiful as well. I do not recommend coming out there without being prepared.

We play softball at this field which is unlocked daybreak to sunset. Often the field is reserved at the city but if not anyone can use it.
