Loved this trail. Probably because it rained last nite and it was 73⁰ early in the morning! Quite a reprieve from the summer heat. Diverse areas, butterfly garden, marshland, meadow. Paved pathways. Many birds and flora. Lots of turtles too! Easy for strollers and wheelchairs. Covered picnic area.

Nice park. Tranquil. A hidden gem as far as Parks go. About 20 acres of Park & trails. Love feeding the fish & turtles. My 13 yr old nephew calls it Turtle Park... Im sure many others do as well. Enjoy.

Beautiful gem nestled in the city. Great for walking/riding/picnics. Dont feed bread to all the wonderful turtles you can find at the over-look on the pond. Give them turtle food/meal worms you can find in any pet section. The turtles will love you. Red-eared sliders are abundant and, you may spy an alligator if you watch closely. Beautiful flowers and greenery are in abundance. Quiet and well-kept; youll love it!

Nice paved path in the trees around some ponds with a ton of turtles, squirls, birds, and butterflies. 1.5 miles of trails if you do all of the loops.

Lovely place to come walk. There are several trails, my favorite is walking through the mini swamps and the wooded areas. Its very shaded (unless you go through the butterfly area / wild flowers), so its very doable for Texas weather. I also noticed I didnt get bitten by mosquitos so that is a huge plus. Everything is paved which is what I love so its not too wild. There are lots of nature and a swamp, so I would watch little people closely so they dont fall. The only downside is as other say. There is no public restroom.

Beautiful little park! All the trails are paved. They have a great little butterfly garden and a gorgeous pond with a bunch of cypress trees. There is also a really pretty pergola that would be great for pictures!

It is very nice place to walk and have fun with your kids, however it has so much mosquitoes. You need to be prepared before you go there. Walking trails are good and it has some bridges to see around.

A small hidden gem found in houston finally. A lot of bugs but I wasnt bothered by them. My son really loved walking thru there and looking for turtles. Definitely recommend getting turtle food as the turtles will swim up to you and are pretty much begging for the food.

Amazing place to walk around. The bald cypresses are truly a sight to see.Saw more turtles than birds this trip. Although I did see a single blue heron when I arrived right before dawn. The only drawback is that people let their dogs run free as they are walking the pathways. They treat the area as an open dog park.

It is a very small park so if you are hoping to walk or run multiple miles you may want to find a different spot but the park is pretty and there is a nice spacious open area at the beginning of the park which is great for doing yoga, a picnic, body weight exercises, and so on.

Beautiful walking trail with a big lake, tall trees, and turtles popping their head up. I enjoyed the scenery with the beautiful flower garden, but I did see some trash like (water bottles, coke cans) on floor and I don’t know why when there’s clearly trash cans all around the park. People pick up your trash!!!!! Other than that, nice park with sitting area.

Such a nice accessible place. No bathrooms though, so go before. Peaceful place to relax and take a walk. My dog jumped in the creek which freaked me out, but I saw tennis balls in there, so Im assuming peoples dogs play fetch in there. He swam around and loved it. I just wish it was bigger and had bathrooms :)
