The heads are still there - behind a locked chain link fence - as of January, 2020. I didnt perceive any sign of them going anywhere (lots of freeway construction, but they dont seem to be threatened). You can see a few - enough that you wont regret going to see them.

I’m not sure of how often it’s open to the public, but well worth stopping by and peaking through the fence

Randomly stumbled upon this place over the weekend and saw all the Presidents heads. Now that I know it is a galley for an artist I plan to go back for a proper visit.

Awesome! The presidents are amazing, to think someone did them is mind blowing. The ground breaking was Monday (Feb 2020) for their permanent home in Huntsville TX. North of Houston. Can’t wait for the event, unveil, or showcase️ whatever comes next David Addicks is never a disappointment

The foreman treats workers poorly. I worked here and I was accused by the owner David Adickes of trying to copy a presidents head as if I would have the need or want for such a thing. I got injured on the job at this job and wasnt given workers comp neither was any of my medical expenses covered. Soon after I was also ostracized because the foreman didnt agree with my religious beliefs. I was laid off with no sense of professionalism , I wasnt even given the common courtesy to be given a two weeks notice. On a Thursday I was told it would be my last work week that of which would be making the final day the following day on Friday.

After hours you can peer thru the chain link fence and see various large sculptures in various stages of completion. If youre ever in downtown Houston and you run of stuff to do, this place will fascinate you for a short while. I wonder if the give tours during regular business hours?
