This is a wonderful park!! Its surrounded by beautiful greenery and water with lots of great spots for a picnic. The childrens playground is amazing with everything your child could possibly want to play with. Theres also a massive dog park with a walking trail and a few agility obstacle courses for your pup, complete with wash stations right outside the gates. Our family loves coming here and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors!

Always a nice quiet place/park to go to. Plus side they have an awesome dog park so your dog can do zoomies as much as their heart desires!!!

Love this place. Its well maintained with plenty of options and lots of shade. We visit the dog park often, its spacious with separate areas for large and small dogs.

This park is absolutely beautiful. The dog walking area is amazing and the playground is perfect for your children. It was made with all childrens needs in mind. Special needs or handicap this Park will work for you. I highly recommend it.

I always enjoy coming to this park early in the morning. Cool, quiet, peaceful and best time to do quiet time. You can see birds, fish jumping out of water, can see alligator some times. What a blessing to have this park.

Love this beautiful park. Home of NASA Pony Baseball League. Pony Field is in a beautiful park setting. So has dog park, softball field and some smaller fields. Has nice picnic areas, clean restrooms, and on the water.

Nice pier and we saw a huge gator! Grounds were very clean and nice also.

This is the best park in the houston area. Water sports, two different dog parks, tennis, baseball, frisbee, docks, you name it, bike and running trails... list is endless...Parties, etc. I take my family at least twice a week.

Great place to bring the whole family including the dogs. There is a lot of things to do from the dog park, playground, fishing, kayaking and baseball fields.

Great park. Love the playground and the different options for the kiddos of all ages. I love the double swings for parents to swing with their little ones. The garden is beautiful and peaceful and so are the piers to the water. We always love seeing the different wildlife out here.

Nice place. Concrete boat launch. Not sure about anything mechanized. Ideal for kayak and canoe adventures. Cops make the rounds regularly but of course make sure you leave anything worth anything at home. Wildlife is a thing that exists. This is not the place to roll around in brush that you didnt clear first. We saw a baby gator within 2 minutes of parking. Picnic tables. Bathrooms. Baseball field. And lots of birds. Adventure it up!

Very Nice size park, beautiful scenery, great for nature photos, walking, picnic, kids playground, huge dog park area! I rode my bike around a bit but wasnt the best to ride a bike inside the park area. Huge bike trail outside the park that goes along traffic. Plenty of parking and restrooms available.

I love it. Its such a beautiful park, full of shade with a great play area for the kids and scenic trails for the grown ups.

Great place to have a picnic. There is a kayak launch ramp too that Ive used a few times. Its nice and quiet on the water since there are no motorized boats allowed. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Love this place. Its a beautiful park with lotsa things to do. One suggestion is to put a STOP or yield sign where the road near the water fountain meets the traffic from the loop exiting the park. I saw traffic leaving the park from the loop and that road without stopping or yielding each other and car honks were blowing different directions. I really dont want to see any more serious incidents happening at this park or anywhere else

Nice park on bayou. Very open, not crowded during weekdays, wildlife present, free admission and parking. Walking and sitting options.

Best place To let your for babies run and play. There is something for everyone at this park! I highly recommend coming here!

The park features a long dock that crosses the marsh to the water. There was lots of wildlife and a good fishing spot at the end of the dock. There were picnic area with tables and grills for barbequing as well as plenty of parking. All in all it was a great part I highly recommend.

Great park! Great paddling trail! There are alligators so watch young ones around the pond. It is illegal to feed alligators. Great dog park as well! Armand Bayou Nature Center does guided tours on the electric pontoon out there with rsvp.

Ive mostly explored the playground and the dog park so my comments are limited to that.The dog park is very large. Lots of space for your dog to run around. It can be a little muddy here and there but thats normal for a dog park. Outside of the dog area theres a hose for washing the pooches down. Theres also a water fountain inside the fence for people and dogs. The park has no water feature per se and limited trick equipment. My dogs dont use that stuff but my goldendoodle would probably like a small pond.The kids playground next door is pretty nice. There are three areas for kids of differing ages.

This has become my go to place for kayak fishing. It is awesome being able to park so close to the ramp, unload and go.

Nice quiet park. Park is very well maintained, the park attendant (William I think) was extremely helpful answering the kids questions about alligators, the park raccoons and the big black birds around the little pond area.

Very lovely facility. A large park with lots of amenities. Restrooms were clean and spacious and the playground had some nice equipment. The nature walk over the water is very enjoyable.

Awesome park.Very clean.Very large play ground for kids.

We went to the dog park section. Has two sides for large and small dogs. Large side is huge with trails you can walk to encourage your faithful friend to keep moving and run and play. Shaded area to sit next to water station for the dogs. Needs so ground elevation though because you stand in water to turn water on for the dogs i.e. pea gravel, hiking trail material. A couple of mudhole that my dog loves, but there are 2 washing stations located just outside the gate when you leave, so no worries.

Probably one of the best places to hangout with friends or all alone. One of the best places for people who would like to feel close to nature.

My favorite dog park! Lots of room for dogs to play and roam around, its also a pretty well kept park. Separate sized separate areas for small and large dogs which is great. Plenty of seating and some shade, water on site as well for the dogs. Plenty of parking on site. Lots of other things to do here as well! Theres a playground, gardens, baseball fields and large open spaces. I think they may have a kayak/ boating dock as well. Overall a very nice park and we come here a lot.

This park is beautiful and at night it seems like hundreds of racoons come out of nowhere lol. My kids and I saw an alligator in the water back behind the park. It was absolutely awesome!! Also you can feed the ducks and turtles near the exit, at the little pond thing. The playground is in great shape and bathrooms are clean.

Beautiful park to walk, also any Pokemon go players most pokestops are along drive way throughout the park. I love kayaking here as long as no one is feeding the gators and watching the ducks is also very peaceful.

Beautiful birds and a peaceful setting on the weekdays. No idea how crazy it must be when all the sports fields are being used. Nice dog park. The only weird thing is all the pipelines that run through there. Kinda gives me the creeps.

Great place to bring your puppy and the kids! Quite and they keep it clean! Lots for the kids to do and the puppy as well!!! If your dog is aggressive or u cant control it dont go there!!! The others will call animal control quickly!

Great place for many things. They have a dog park, a playground for kids and a ramp for kayaks only. Playgrounds are well maintained and the dog park is separated into two sections; one side for large dogs and the other side is for smaller dogs.

I love that theres parking close to the playground so I can watch the kids from my van if I want to. The restroom is also near by.

The dog park is nice, but it always has a huge water/mud puddle around the water fountain. I always have to spray my dog off before getting in the car. I will be visiting other dog parks because it is unnecessary to have to spray your dog down because of something that could be fixed.UPDATE: We went back today. Its so sad because our dog loves coming here, but it seems the muddy area is bigger!
