This is very nice theater! Check out these Star Wars and Cats hand painted murals!! The artist has done a fantastic job. Its great to see theater management showcasing the local artists and their talent.

Deceptive movie showings. I went there to watch Wonder Woman 84, instead they showed the first Wonder Woman movie.

This movie theater is nice and clean. The seats are very comfortable.

Pleasantly surprised at this movie theater. It is much cleaner than the Edwards on Silber and I10. Even the bathrooms were clean. There wasn’t a crazy wait time to purchase a ticket or at the concessions stand. The ticket taker also had a friendly attitude and didn’t look like he hated the world/ his job. Unlike the Edwards on Weslayan, the parking here is free, and there is a big lot because it’s attached to whats left of West Oaks Mall. The movie theater has rocker seats that recline a little bit. You don’t get the full recliner lazy boy seats like at some of the renovated AMCs. You can sign up for a free Regal account and get a discount on your ticket prices. They do have reserved seating here where you choose where you want to sit when you buy your ticket. You can buy your ticket online or through the app ahead of time. When I’m on this side of the city, I will return to this theater.

Nothing special about watching a movie here, but theres nothing wrong with average. Only con is wait times for food.. would easily be a 4 star review if it didnt take them as long as it does to prepare your order.

Place is good to see a movie and its next to a popular mall. Food and snacks are pricey, but the seats in the theaters are very comfortable. Would recommend as a good local theater to see a movie with friends.

This is my number one movie venue and it not once disappointed in anyway. Security is great for parking. Adequate parking with great accessibility for everyone. Sound in the theatre is great. I simply love it.

Good theater overall. Very clean bathrooms. Usually no wait or very short wait. Concessions are convenient. Above average seating and good stagger with the seats so there is clear visibility. Audio is fine. It can be a bit loud at times. Overall, a nice place to see a movie.

DO. NOT. CHANGE. YOUR. SEATS. PLEASE!!! A lot of other theaters are changing their seats. Either they pick seats that do not rock back n forth and are too stiff, or they get the super fancy once that recline all the way back and are made of leather. THEY SUCK! Edwards theater seats are the best theater seats around: thick, soft, CLOTH seats, that rock backwards 4 - 6 inches or so and have tall backs that come well over my shoulders and head. Very comfortable! Leather seats are too hot, recliners do not have comfortable backs with good head rests.They are slow at the concession stand but I can overlook that if they KEEP THOSE GOOD OLD SETS!also, cook those pizzas more! if that sucker doesnt have some small burnt cheese areas, then this is a good sign that the middle will still be uncooked....You lost a star because of the raw pizzas. I have had 3 pizzas come this way

Wonderful place for entertainment.It is a magic wonderland. We get all-in-one place.This movie theater is in the best location for people from all directions can go easily. it has spacious parking lot and very close to entrance.We can book tickets online of in the counter at the entrance. Staffs are very professional and helpful.as soon as we enter the building we get lot see lot of things. Game area, Photo booth, kiosk ticket vending machine, restroom, cafeteria, rest bench and service/help desk.the real entertainment starts at the entrance and before watching movie.it is a well planned building, all showrooms are easily accessible. it is a very clean pubic accessible place. Movie selections are excellent in this place. we can choose 3D view easily.It is a must visit place.

This theater is dying just like the grounds of the mall that it sits on. I wish there were better investors to save this area. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in this theater.

This theater is kept fairly clean and looking nice but sometimes the concession stand lines move slow and the popcorn does not taste fresh. Better training and dedicated staff can certainly make this part of the experience better. Its not the worse Ive experienced, but not close to the best either. The biggest problem Ive had is walking out in the middle of the movie and actually having to get in line for a refill. That does not happen at well staffed and managed theaters.The more concerning problem is when people in the theater are talking loudly through a movie and the theater staff that could help with this is hard to find. It would be great if a sterner warning is given to movie goers that if you talk youre out, but also maybe seeing theater staff sometimes making rounds to check in may give the sense to all that it is being checked, and not only when one has to go ask them to come in to silence someone. We used to see this problem more regularly at this theater, but since seats are assigned I think its gotten better, although this evening we had a couple talking loudly throughout the previews, not a time when we want a feud by shushing them... fortunately they were quiet during the movie.

The movie was Badboys 5 stars The theatre 4. Was still great overall.

Just went there to see J. Wick 3. I gotta say this is my favorite theater. Always clean and inviting. Me and my wife have eaten a couple of the meals they offer, burger was mediocre at best but pizzas are a nice surprise and recommended. I wish West Oaks could make a comeback.

We had a great experience. The facility was very clean. The restroom was very clean for a Thursday night family outing.

I love going to this theater! Ive been twice this week alone! All of the staff are considerate and helpful; all have been so patient with my lack of speed and occasional indecision. This isnt the closest location to my home, but I dont mind the drive. Theres always ample parking. The rooms are kept tidy. The concession stand is adequately staffed during peak and non-peak times and has watched my popcorn while I visited the ladies room. Ticketing has suggested options for increased value and ideal seating. The gentleman who collect the stubs is quite creative and has made at least one promotional display. Thank you for always providing a wonderful experience!

I will give them 5 stars if they change the area floor plan maps on their website. We can not tell where the handrails where in front section area. So we can hangout our legs. We ended up too close.

Clean, bright, well staffed and stimulating foyer and concession area greeted me upon arrival.The staff were polite, respectful and helpful. All our questions and concerns were addressed with smiles and good eye contact.The bathrooms were well stocked and very clean. The hallways had been recently swept, and the posters and signs were free of defects.The theater was clean, swept, and lighted just enough. All the seats that we checked were in good working order and comfortable.The sound was well balanced and the volume was appropriate.We came away from the theater with the happy anticipation of returning.

Went here to watch Infinity War and the dialogue audio sounded like it was coming from a tin can. I complained to management and they claimed they couldn’t do anything then. I came back months later for Star Wars and the audio is just as bad as it was back then. Movie theater clearly doesn’t care about providing a watchable experience.

Nice size a screen, but the chairs are horrible. They sit straight up, you can lean back or recline to relax and enjoy the movie. I wouldnt go back.

I would never go to this place if it were the only building left in this world. i was just enjoying my day trying to watch endgame when this incompetent employee told us we couldnt go in because we bought children tickets but all of us were children because we are under 18. second, this man was giving us an attitude for no absolute reason when we first met. third, we couldnt even watch the movie because it was past curfew so we couldnt watch. what i dont get us that if i paid for the ticket it does not matter what time i get there to watch. everyone was literally giving us an attitude. we left because we didnt want to be in the room with them but then came back in but the security guard said you cant come back in youre trespassing. first of all sir if we leave we are still on the property so it doesnt matter.

Nice cinema, clean, lots of snacks options. Delicious popcorn with butter, highly recommended! The best part is that is not as crowded as other cinemas. They have a good variety of movies, you have from romantics to action and suspense. Large free parking lot. Chairs are comfortable, even though they don’t recline. Sound and image were perfect. We will be coming back soon

We loved watching the summer kids movie specials here. I think this is the only closest theater from where we are. Their arcade could use some improvements.

We just saw The Upside, an excellent movie. We had prepaid tickets for Cold War but were told the distributor pulled the movie from all Edwards Theaters. The Mgr was apologetic and offered to get our money refunded OR we could watch something that was playing AND give us 2 free passes. Since we had driven an hour and a half to get there we chose to see The Upside and were very satisfied (and we have passes to a Theater much closer to our home. Thanks Edwards Theater; we saw an excellent movie and have passes to another of out choice.

Theater was good, prices were bad. No, strike that. Prices were very bad. twice what Alamo charges for tickets, and counting that in to the cost of a bucket of popcorn and two drinks, we could have seen the show and had a meal instead.It wasnt crowded at all, and its easy to see why. If you go here, smuggle in food and drinks for yourself.

Why Bother?Staff - very lez affair. They are just trying to get you out of the way and onto the next customer. The person who sold us popcorn deliberately delayed our order - I guess to punish us for asking 2 whole questions about what sides they were selling (How dare we!)The theater itself was okay. The seats don’t recline and are rather tight. It was just... meh.Sound was good, picture was not great. There was a flare spot on the screen.But my question is why bother!? when there’s AMC and Cinemark.Conclusion: You will see the movie that’s all. If you want to chill, be comfortable and enjoy the experience - look elsewhere.

I came here twice recently to see Alita: Battle Angel and Captain Marvel last week. I like that the theatre is never crowded. I can run up to the concessions, order my drinks and popcorn, and be in the theater within 5 minutes. If you dont like huge crowds when going to the movies then this try this theater. The staffs service has always been great too.

Theatre seating is very good but the emergency lights are way too bright and the sound in our theatre(#14) was too low. The concession stand is small and overcrowded. It too us 30m to get drinks and there were only 5 people ahead of us in the line.

I use the online fandango app to purchase tickets. I walk in to the later movie and there was no line and I walked up and scanned my qr code and was in my seat in 30 sec. Clean, quiet theater. Im use to bigger reclining seats but these seats were still comfortable

The movie was we excellent! I had an issue with a woman in line trying to tell me which line I needed to be in. The matter was resolved quickly by me.

We decided to sneak away from the kids and do a late movie for 10:10. We used the Atom app to purchase our tickets to make life easier. When we arrived there was no clear marked instructions for Atom users, so we waited in line which moved fairly quickly. Once instructed inside, we went right to the ticket taker line and after a quick code scan, we headed to our theater. We were in theater 13 and while small, it was clean. It didnt have the smell of old popcorn or sticky floors, nor was it freezing cold. It was quite comfortable in temp and seating. The only draw back is the arm rests dont move and neither do the chairs recline, but they serve their purpose. The two staff members we encountered were routine, not exactly chipper but neither were they rude. Overall good movie going experience.

Comfortable seats and frozen adult beverages were a win for me. Have to also mention the diverse food menu as well. Id definitely go back!

Great theater and is close to me but there is one thing that I wish they had is the reclining seats!!! This place is a go to in my book but when your going to a midnight showing be ready to share some personal space with the people next to you. Love the points system and have gotten tons of free food and tickets just from going!

Best kept secret in Housto, I walked into the Force Awakens when the rest of the cinemas in the city were sold out. Nice, clean cinema with great sound quality.

It’s honestly one of the best movie theaters you can go to. Being the fact that the lines are quick, staff are friendly, and movies are thrilling. Nothing screams of a better experience when wanting to explore the field of cinema. I’ve seen numerous movies at this location, and became a regular. For years I’ve had no issues with my times attending. I’m sure that this theater will suprise anyone who always expects for the worst, because this Edwards tries their best to make it the most enjoyable experience for everyone.

Wow, went to see Toy Story 4 today, 6/23/19. The theater was filthy. Super disappointing. I will never go there again. The customer service was very friendly and good, though. But you dont pay good $$ for tickets and feel gross in a dirty theater. They could have swept and picked up the trash between showings.

This movie theater is one of our favorites. Due to there being so many in the area, this one usually is the easiest for us to get good seats for a new movie. The service is always great and the screens and seats are awesome. Great secret movie spot!

After lunch, a friend and I forgot our Cinema card and they were able to locate it by our phone number in order to get our discount plus we were shown a seating chart of available seats to select our tickets. How awesome. We enjoyed the Mule with C.Eastwood.

The area is hood, the mall is dead and the parking lot is poorly lit, making it pretty eerie at night when you get out of the movie, but if your looking to catch a quick movie, it works... especially if you live nearby.

The one place in all of Southwest and West Houston you are guaranteed a seat. Very clean movie theater, this is my go to place.

Its been a while since my daughter and I came to the movies. There are a few changes. Now when buying a ticket you have to chose your seats. Not bad at allI actually like it. For the consessions you dont need to form just 1 line and wait for the next person to be open. Now, there are 6 consessions open which mean 6 lines. Moves much faster. Overall, I enjoyed my little date night with my daughter.

It wasnt crowded, and I enjoyed the movie.

Nice place. Not terribly busy for 7pm on a Saturday. Arm rests dont go up. They do serve a few types of beer, but I believe only stuff distributed by Coors. I did not see any Budweiser, nor did I ask either. Would return again for a movie. The seats were clean and I didnt feel sticky walking around.

Big outside. Small intimate theaters inside. Landscaping was left go a bit too much, but the theaters are clean & employees are friendly. Ament, a ticket taker, was hard working. He cleans after shows & picks up slack where needed.

The people behind the counter was really helpful. The prices was high just like any theater except they offered an app that you can earn discounts and get a substitution pay price of small popcorn get a large one for that price. The large drinks was also free refills. I really enjoyed myself. I watched equalizer 2 in RDX was comfortable leather tilt seats and the audio was great! The best part about it was I was able to buy the seat ticket was awesome. I was able to get reward points for the tickets.

My sister (age 30), younger brother (age 17) and myself (age 34) have just been turned away from watching a movie because it was rated R and I had my 2 year old son with me. I have been taking my son to movies since he was an infant and as long as hes accompanied by an adult it has never been an issue. I am beyond disappointed because this attendant really didnt want us in that establishment for whatever reason. Every other movie we tried to see she would say its already started, or its restriced. Until finally we left. When did this new rule start?

First time and last time here. Worst Movie theatre experience ever. Snacks are highly overpriced and I waited in line for 25 minutes. The manager finally got more than one register open. Spend a few more minutes to drive to a better theatre, it is worth it.

How could anyone write a review mentioning bad staff. this theater is great. clean, efficient keeping track of regal rewards, and very sweet, accommodating staff. I am writing specifically about west oaks location, by the way.
