Great place to meet and catch up with friends. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. The place has a nice atmosphere.

Positives: Service is good and so were the movie prices. Decent sound and good picture. Full service bar.Negatives: It was eerily empty ( we did go to the 9:00 movie on a Sunday night) and compared to other theaters today, you can tell that they are trying but the seats were not the best. This area of Houston has seen better days however the movie tavern is still a bright spot.

I really loved this place. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. Bring your hunger - portions are large. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Its so savory. I will be back with my friends. It has a nice feel to it.

I liked the brand better before it was bought out by Marcus Theaters. The food use to be way better but it could have just been the staff on duty that night. I love the concept of eating, drinking and watching the movie but right now Studio Movie Grill in town and country was a better experience...just saying

One of the worst experiences ever. Got there early. Was our sons birthday treat. Ordered food and drinks before anyone else arrived. Crowd came in. Drink and food were served to everyone, except us. Asked three different waitresses when we were getting food. They said they would tell manager. No manager, no food no drinks. Never coming back.

Went to theater with family to see Frozen II. Got to the theater early to enjoy food before the movie. The theater was very dirty, even after they cleaned it. Theater appeared to be poorly maintained with seats worn out, tears in carpet, and an unclean odor throughout. Waited for 45 minutes for someone to come to take out order. When we asked, no one in the theater knew who was working our theater. No one appeared to want to work. There was only three families in the theater so not over worked. For the amount of money we paid for tickets and food, I would think someone could put some money into providing upgrades and maintenance so that there was comfort for the people coming to the theater. While waiting for someone to clean the theater, had one of the employees come talk to us while he was eating a brownie Sunday or some kind of dessert. Very unprofessional. Probably won’t return.

The quality of this theater has gone down drastically over the years. The service is bad, the theaters smell awful and theres too much noise from staff and customers. This place used to exceed other theaters but now even Tinseltown at 290 is better than this one. Their manager is the only reason Im giving this place two stars. She is very sweet and helpful.

We saw Frozen 2, It was great. Theatre #7 had no air conditioner. Food was better than expected. Beer was hot, Sam Adams Ipa. My wine was fine. Bathrooms were clean. The girl that sold us our movie tickets never spoke. The place is really run down. Bad way to spend $100. No complaint would have fixed this.

The lady at the register for tickets that wears the glasses is extremely rude. I simply asked if they had student discounts and her tone was attitudinal and just rude. Also it took them so long to acknowledge the service light so I could order something. I’m definitely going to just stick to the Studio Movie Grill!

Ive been coming to this place for 10+ years since I live in the area, but the customer service has gotten worse and worse each year. I finally decided to stop going to Movie Tavern based on my last visit. I ordered my drink and food at the same time, the food came out at a reasonable time; however, my drink never came, even after I reminded the server and other staff several times. Eventually I walked out to take to a manager, and finally got my drink after 1 hour. My sister ordered a desert halfway into the movie, the movie ended and the desert nor the bill ever came out. Again, went to ask for a manager, the server came out, and there were several other patrons waiting to complain. The service is terrible now, I can see this place going out of business in less than a year. 4/4 people that I talked to about their experience that day said theyre not coming back. It was fun Movie Tavern, but youve let me down way too many times now.

We went to the Movie Tavern recently to see Bad Boys for Life. The theater was clean and we got to choose our own seats which was nice. We only ordered sodas but I will have to say that the service was EXTREMELY SLOW. We also kept getting brought the wrong drink. Movie was great but they could up their service a bit.

The movie was the best part and we went to see sonic. Some of our food was never delivered. Manager acted like it was my fault when I asked about it. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECCOMEND.

Really poor service, we waited the entire movie for just one angry orchard. If I could give zero stars I would. They really need to get it together, no one looked like they knew what they were doing or what was gonna on. It wasn’t even that busy, and there were a bunch of other customers with many complaints about missing items and light buttons not working in the theaters. The theater we sat it was still dirty even after they “cleaned” it after the last showing. Stay far from here it’s definitely not worth it.

I should’ve believed the negative reviews. I went to this location on a Tuesday, for an 11:45am showing. There was myself, my husband, and 2 other individuals in the same movie we saw, who happened to be the only other moviegoers we saw the entire time we were there. We ordered 2 drinks prior to 12:00pm, and by 12:25 I got up to find out what was going on and ran into our waitress in the walkway with them. I took them from her and at that time requested a large popcorn. That took another 15 minutes, arrived lukewarm with absolutely no butter and very little salt. When we asked how long it would be for fresh popcorn because this was DEFINITELY not it, she said another 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor, believe the reviews and save yourself the trouble.

Service wasnt acceptable for the pricing. We asked 2 different staff members 3 times for refills and sauce but the movie was almost over when they finally brought it. The food was incredible however and the theatre was relatively clean. I have always loved movie tavern! I will admit this last experience was disappointing (because of the service).

I have been going here for years. This theater has been a lot of things. Originally it was a fantastic take on the dinner and a movie model.However the years have not been kind. The theaters show age. The infrastructure of the model is falling apart. Lights don’t work, and stop gapMeasures only mask the age.The management has also changed, and it shows In the quality of the whole enterprise.While this is a still a great place to see a movie, it is hard to see a great place slowly fall apart from neglect.

Went on a date with my fiance to have a nice time. We get to the theater and the seats are broken and uncomfortable. Then waiting for service so we can get something to eat and drink and nothing. When the server finally CV came around to take our order we didnt get a word out and he took off, so we had no drinks or food at all. And they never came back around to see if we wanted anything at all.Worst date night ever!!!!! We let a manager know about the situation and they gave us one movie pass when two tickets were purchased. I do not recommend this theater!!!!

Nice, clean, drinks are okay and the food is alright. If you go early the tickets are a good price but the price of the food is too high for the quality of food that they serve.

Great low prices and you can always get quality food and beer at this location! Could’ve wished they had more selections for drafts but it’s still fine enough. They just put two led screens at the front so it’s easier to see what movies and what times they play what movies. Definitely come out during the weekdays so you can have the whole theater to yourself and so you can have your food and drinks come out super fast

This theatre, not unexpectedly has made changes since it had originally opened. The changes however are not really for the best.When we went the theatre was dead, and I mean my son and I and one other couple.The girl at the ticket counter was nice.I paid about 18 or 19 dollars for my 5 year old and myself in tickets. We then of course wanted to eat there since that is the entire point. I got him a cheese pizza and a falafel sandwich for myself, with drinks it was 40.00.The food was terrible. I would never ever recommend eating here. His pizza was seconds from being burnt and so hard and thin you could shank someone with the crust. Little Caesars pizza is high class gourmet compared to this pizza. My sandwich was okay, it was cold and mainly lettuce and olives.When we watched our movie, there was not one staff member in there to check our food etc, and we were the only people there.I would come back to watch a movie without 100 other people but I would recommend eating anywhere before hand, even if it is literally the gas station. In our theatre a good number of the tables had crumbs and food residue as well which is confusing considering how dead it was.

This movie theater is run down now,dont waste your time and money. Myself and friends went to see a movie here and the popcorn was not fresh,my nachos were cold and had to reorder them twice and they still were not good, and the pizza was not fresh at all.This is sad because this use to be a really nice theater,now the seats are worn out and the theatre looks bad and old and also has an odor. Where is ownership and management to address these issues

My husband and I went there for Valentines Day and there was hardly anyone there. We paid and waited for our theater to open. When it was time to claim our seats, the time they specified, it was absolutely filthy. And many of the chairs were broken. We sat there for 30min and the movie was about to start when only one employee cleaned around everyone.Given we were early getting there we ordered our food early. We were the last group to get our food and it was cold and my husband order was wrong. I had to go complain quite a while later to even get our drinks.There was quite a scene in the lobby afterwards because so many people had the same problem with their food.

I love the tavern but the seats are 12 years old since I started to go there. Definitely needs renovation. But I like the concept of watching and eating. So does the kids:-)I can get my kids to eat chicken instead of popcorn at least. Then they are full so they don’t ask for pop corn:-)

I went to go see Bad Boys for Life in theater 6 and when I walked in there it reeked of urine and must. It felt wet and damp.The service was fine but the theater needs improvement.

Movie experience was fine. Food was burnt, overpriced, under-portioned and even the waiter said the possibility for something good is 50/50. The honesty was nice.,

VERY BAD SERVICE....... I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.I ordered my food and drinks 15 before the movie Started. The call buttons dont work (REALLY)..... I asked 2 different people about my drinks NOTHING. My food came out 30 after the movie started. Still no drinks at this point. Eat all my food with NO DRINK. Now i had ask and additional 2 people about my drinks while i was eating. Finally i had to go to the bar and get my own drinks. Hour into the movie they finally bring us the WRONG DRINKS. Now there where maybe 8 to 10 other people in there. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This theater is under new management. Food quality & price for value is much lower now. I used to love the nachos. Ingredients have changed. Prices are higher & quality is much lower! Disappointed! Drive the extra 5 minutes for AMC.

This is the worst theater ever! I went to see a movie that started at 7:30. I ordered ONE bucket of popcorn at 7:25, by 8:25 it still hadnt come. I left the movie to find the manager which took 12 minutes. She said shed get it right away and it still took 35 additional minutes for them to get me ONE bucket of popcorn. When they finally did bring it, it tasted like they literally poured a box of salt, intentionally, while cooking it. I will NEVER, and I do mean NEVER visit this theater again!

Just left the Movie Tavern it was a horrible experience no one never came took my order @ my seat so I went to the bar area to order and they said 20 people was in front of me and they will send someone to me and no one ever came. I will advise you not to come here hungry eat before you come

This is a very clean and comfortable place. Have a good drink selection at the bar. Food is really good. Service is fast. Will be back.

Brought my 5 year old son to watch frozen and at the beginning of the movie I turned on our light for service. No one came! I went to the bar halfway through the movie where other employees were leaning and talking on the counter. I ask one of the gentleman if I could get a small popcorn. I took my son to the restroom thinking that would give him plenty of time to have it ready. When we came out the restroom no one was there. I went back in the movie and continued to wait. (The movie is past it’s halfway mark) the server Brandon came and asked for my order. Before telling him I ask how long the movie had left, and he answered about an hour. So I asked for a small popcorn for my son. About 20-30 min he came back but with no popcorn! So without saying anything he turned and left as if though he forgot it. Another 15-20 min go by and he doesn’t return. I go out to speak with manager Nicole, explaining how dis satisfied I was with the service for a 5 year old child. Although she was very professional, she went to the back and came back with the popcorn. She said that we didn’t receive the popcorn cause Brandon place the order for the wrong table. Mind you the movie is at the end. The service we received was unacceptable and disappointing on the account of my son having a bad experience.

It was extremely awful, movie started at 9:15pm, server finally shows up around 10:15 to take our orde . 10:45 we got our drinks, 11:15 my husband got his food, I ordered popcorn never got it, my daughter and her boyfriend never got their food, but their credit card was charged 10 minutes after ordering. They charged my daughter for her Dr. Peppers since she got her drinks.....10.00 for two drinks!!!! There was a line of people who did not get their food or drinks. DO NOT GO YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND MAD. Place needs to rethink how they do businessThere was a line of people who never got their food

Great location easy to access from major freeway and a nice change from the usual movie theater concept. Good food and seating all in the theater room itself. Just order from your seat. Nice

Love how friendly and attentive the staff is at this movie theater. Good food and drinks. The only thing I really dislike about this movie theater is the seats. They really need to upgrade. Most of their seats are really worn out and I just dont like the idea of seating in an office chair to watch a movie.

Ordered our tickets online to ensure we had seats, then got there an hour before movie time to make sure the four of us could sit together and get good seats. No problem retrieving our tickets, but were told we couldn’t get in the theater for another 30 minutes. No problem, we just sat in the bar. At the time were told we could get into our theater we headed down. We were stopped before going in and told they had started a line back at the front of theater. So even though we were the first to get there we would now be at the end of the long line. That’s just not okay! When asked why we weren’t told about the line when we picked up our tickets, the girl said they didn’t know it would be needed then and she had told everyone after us. Not sure how that was supposed to help us! We got our money back and left. It’s disappointing because our son had been looking forward to the movie all day. We won’t be back!

We sat and watched a movie and never got out food. Just about the entire movie theater did not get there food!!!!!!! Bar service was acceptable but other than that theater 1 had very uncomfortable seats, we turned on the lights on the table saying we were ready to order and it took 14 minutes to get a server to come to us. Our drinks were sent to wrong table so our server came to us and left 1 of them and then said they needed to bring us a replacement, it then took 30 minutes and talking to literally 3 different servers to get replacements, high sounds in the right speaker of the theater were busted so half the previews didn’t have sound and the movie sounded terrible (our speakers at home sound better than this theater did), plus the low quality food was overpriced. We left the movie and asked for a refund because we had to be so focused on getting our order correct we missed the first 1/3 of the movie and could no longer enjoy it because of our frustration. I have never even considered leaving a movie before but this experience very easily warranted it. I have been to this theater before and don’t remember the service being this terrible but it was poor enough that we will not be returning to this theater. It was no 1 persons fault for the poor experience but the management here definitely needs to revamp their structure here. Strongly advise against.

Havent been here in years, so its a bit more run down, which is to be expected I suppose. The price on Tuesday was good, but where they get you or the drink prices. Averaged 12 to $15 for the alcoholic drink, and a $5 / Coke.. sorry, Pepsi, no Coke products here. I guess its pretty typical of a theater to get you one concessions, but this still seems a bit excessive. Ordered a tavern Burger, nothing special a little dry but overall okay. I would pick a different movie theater if trying to impress a date, but if its just you and your kids or something, Tuesdays arent too bad

Rediculous!On opening night of the photograph, took food order 40min into the movie. Didn’t get food until 1hr into the movie. Had to go get my drinks 1 30min into the movie. Food wasn’t good as well as the service. Did I say it was cold as ballz in der. Never going back ever!

Im came to movie tavern on 12-28-19the seats were uncomfortable the food was fresh my server was over loaded and his co workers didnt want to show team work. We all know team work is the dream work. Way over priced for the scene.I will not come back to this location unless they update it.

Great experience. Had not been here in years, but I came to watch Spiderman here. I do not regret it. The food was amazing, and so was my drink. Its pricey, but it was a great experience.

This place was decent when it first opened, now it has completely fallen off. The staff I feel is doing the best they can with what they have to work with, it made me feel sorry for them between the constant complaints from costumers and sub-par movie watching experience. I saw John Wick 3 here, there was no bass and no surround sound. The food was mediocre at best, but it can be much better for the prices theyre asking for. Maybe the issues are at corporate level, but this theater needs help... badly.

My experience is great! Theres no reserved seating ️!! The food is fresh and good! The staff is attentive!! The restroom is clean! I would love if Movie Tavern had reserved seating! I enjoy going to this movie theater!!!

Very cool posters and great seating. Amazing prices compared to studio movie grill. Unlimited free refills on popcorn and soft drinks brought straight to your seat the whole movie for the same price or less than other theaters makes it definitely worth it. This was the best theater to see star wars the last jedi at too. Look at the picture below!

Service was great. Ordered chicken tenders that were kind of chewy... Also had a group behind me that were talking the entire movie. I miss the old Movie Tavern that really gave af about when people were ruining the experience for others. Besides that it was great.

My wife and I were greeted well at the ticket counter, and asked if we would like menus. We said yes and brought our menus with us to the movie. After deciding on our food choices, we turned on the small lights to signal the waiters we were ready, but no waiters ever came.Ironically, one of the themes Disney plays up in the live action Lion King is food and hunger, so we related to the movie better, but at the cost of more business for the theater. As we were leaving the theater, we noticed about five waiters chatting at the bar.So if youre ever going on a Thursday evening (or maybe any night of the week when the theater isnt very busy?), I recommend eating before the movie.

Went here years ago and had a decent experience since then not so much. Went one night with family ordered food and drinks never got our food and then they show up with a ticket for $90. Said never go back then last Sunday thought we would try it again worst mistake ordered tickets online got there 1 hr early and went were girls at ticket booth told us to go. Then when time to get in theater we were told you will have to go get in some line which we had no ideal was for our movie since the staff told us to wait in other area. We could have been in line 1st one so entire family could sit together but then after this they wanted to spread the family around and have my children sit in random seats that were open. Needless to say not going to happen manager offered no solution so I told him refund the ticket then he did not want to refund the $7.00 fee for purchasing online. He did after some arguing. We are a family of 4 had $60 worth tickets and would have spend an additional $100 on the high priced food. Do not go big disappointment in the place, manager, and the employees. By the way if negative score was an option they would have gotten it.Jeff

My 1st visit here for my sons 9th birthday. Sitting was good & comfortable , we ordered the nachos which needed more cheese ... but overall was fresh . They have a lot to choose from which was nice . I give 3 stars due to poor lighting on exiting , feeling rushed by Theodore when ordering. The manager Timothy was nice & made my sons day better.

On the night of the premier Bad Boys For Life the theater wasnt fully clean, and it smelled like cigarettes and alcohol.The only thing that was good, besides the movie itself, was the food.

I am totally blind, decided to try this place out for the first time. The drinks were extremely pricey and very weak. My food was brought out cold, and the audio description headphones had a lot of static he noise in it, which did not make the movie enjoyable at all. This was my experience from yesterday. Do not believe I will go back to this location.

This place has really fallen off. Staff wondering around as if board, food quality is nowhere near as good as it use to be and it wasnt even busy when we were there. Grateful for the credits that we received, due to issues we had, but still very disappointed and wont be going back.

Took my grandkids; it was our first time being in this style of movie theater. They thought it was seriously wonderful. Very well maintained; courteous helpful staff. A great movie viewing experience!

The whole theater didnt get food even though they took the orders. They tried to bring the food during the last 15 minutes of the movie. Some people like myself didnt even get a drink. It ruin the whole movie going experience. Whats the point of having a movie tavern if no one gets any food or drink. On top of that it was Valentines Day. That was my first and last time going to the Movie Tavern.

Went to see a movie at 1pm. Ordered an icee gave staff $20 never seen the staff again. Told the manager and she had a nasty attitude. She begin to hold a conversation with another group of people as if i never asked for my change. I do not recommend this theater to anyone. Customer service is HORRIBLE.

New food menus choices are worse than the previous old menu. Do not order the salads or the noodle dish. Its too salty and just not good. Food is too expensive for the quality. They should get rid of all the musty carpets because it stinks. Service is hit/miss. Ive had more so-so to bad service than good service. Sometimes the wait staff takes forever to take your order. At other times, your order is totally missed and forgotten.

The experience started out very nicely. The guy that sold us the tickets was friendly and polite, the theater was clean and very nice. We got to 2 minutes before the movie started and no one had come to check on us. My husband went out looking for someone to place an order with, and a man came in to help us. He threw shade on our order (this is a professional establishment, we shouldnt be selling things like Buncha-Crunch), and tried to have a full volume conversation with us during the movie when he brought our food and drink. The film erred on start up so they skipped the previews and started the movie immediately, and the house lights never went down. We get that we came to probably the first show on New Years, and were told many times that they were surprised that anyone would come to see Cats, but I dont think its too much to ask that people be prepared to receive guests and have things running smoothly anyway. We might give this theater a second chance, but this first experience was pretty discouraging.

Great movie, we press the button,they come right away.,they bring the order right away!! Yeaaa., I order for me and my son(he order a pizza) I order a burger and jack and coke —-guess what ?- my burger never get here,. I got the notification of my card for the bill if $51 dls but I never got my burger , the guy said it’s a new policy and they need to charge before they bring the order......sheeesh .,last time !! I will never get back here!!!! No tip! I have to eat left over from my son. (Still waiting on my card notification /to charge the Wright amount)

The movie theatre has made great improvements with new chairs and a new button. But the servers were very slow in response time. We had our Hutton lit for quite a while and it wasn’t until we pushed the buttons next to us that someone finally responded. They also give complimentary popcorn on Tuesdays which is great but the popcorn we received was stale and you are charged $1 extra for butter. You still come out cheaper going to AMC on Tuesdays with free butter on your fresh popcorn. Overall our experience wasn’t great but wasn’t horrible either. I’m not sure if they are in need of staff during the day or the staff just doesn’t care but the bathroom was also not clean either. In case you are wondering if we went late in the evening but we did not, we went to a 1pm showing. Still needs a little more improvement.

We are here after their menu changed. Menu looks amazing! My husband was offered a beer sample. I just ordered their new Key Lime tartlet and it was delicious. Perfect amount of sweet and tart. Erik was an awesome bartender, super enthusiastic and very helpful. The place smells clean and Im excited to come back and try their new food items. We just heard they will be doing some changes to their beer menu as well. They got new chairs!!! Im glad they are upgrading these places. I prefer movie tavern over a regular movie theatre any day!

For my food they tried to short me one chicken tender. When I told the server they took the whole plate and brought it back 10-15 min later but based on the temperature of the food they only remade the tenders and left the fries and mozzarella sticks from before so they were lukewarm at best. Charged me for sauce that I never got, could not refund the sauce to my card so they gave me cash. They were supposed to give me $1.50 back and they gave me $1.25 in quarters. I didnt notice until I got home cause I figured you cant mess up refunding $1.50 in cash.

Not a bad experience, but not great. Staff was good and the food was good, but it felt like the movie came second to the restaurant. The volume on the movie was weird, everything noise wise was loud, but voices were quiet.

I love going here, everything is great but the girl at front Jesenia is very rude. We come up to her with a great attitude every time we go and she talks to us with an attitude.

The food was awful and the place smelled horrible. Specially heading to the restroom. We order the platter that came with wings, sliders, and cheese fries. I cant believe they charge 17.50 for something so insignificant. We also ordered nachos, and by the time we got them the chips were extremely wet. They also added cilantro to it.. which we thought well this isnt a good combination. The waiter was super nice and understanding and took the nachos out of our account. But over all, not a good experience. We used to come once every 3 months, but the food quality is not the same anymore. Might not come back.

I have been coming for many years to the Willowbrook location. We came in Sunday morning because we finally had a weekend off. (Single parent with a busy young kid). It took 30 minutes for someone to take our order. 20 more to receive our drinks. The food was good but when we needed refills our button was well over 30 minutes. I had to go out of the movie to find someone and order dessert & refills. It was delivered just before the movie was over. We went out to the bar restaurant area to get a to-go box. The young guy was like sure. We waited a while and he finally comes out but hangs out and talk with the bartender. The bartender goes to help another employee get water while we are still waiting. I finally ask for a to-go box in front of the young man that I initially asked. I told her I asked him but he never gave us one. She said, Oh yes he told me. Confused I said, Okay but we never got one and we have been standing here for all of you to see us waiting? She rolled her eyes at me and I asked for a manager. She showed me where one was and as I walked away I looked back and the two of them were laughing at me. I let the manager know everything and she said she was sorry but I really do not feel like it did any good. We have been members of Movie Tavern for 8 years. It is disappointing. I still tip very well but sadly I feel I am promoting their bad service.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience when I visited. It was a Tuesday afternoon so it was very slow as far as others in the theatre. There was a total of 4 people in my movie. I was told I would be brought my popcorn, I instead had to go get it myself. Then my order was taken and I did receive it within 15 or 20 mins I guess which was ok. But it tasted awful. Then he asked for payment and I mentioned I wanted to order dessert before closing out. He did not return until 5 mins before the movie ended. I had no time to place my order and he interrupted me so I missed the ending of the movie!!!! Very mad about this. I paid for a movie I dont even know how it ended.

The prices for food have gone up drastically, and the quality for food has decreased simultaneously. If you can, go eat something else from elsewhere before you go to see the movie. You wouldnt want to waste your money. Regardless, the movie quality and the surround-sound speakers make the watching experience spectacular!

Went with a couple of friends to see a movie here and we had a great time. They had great food and drinks. The movie theater itself was pretty big compared to other sit down and dine Cinemas. The staff was also so friendly.

I decided to go to this particular movie theater with my pregnant gf because you could eat while you enjoyed a movie. I had a terrible experience. We sat down for almost an hour with the light on trying to give them a little time before they sent someone to take order. I understood sometimes it is busy but this wasnt the case. I had to leave the theater to ask an employee to send someone. We waited another 20 mins and I had to go out and ask again. I was told by an employee that he forgot to ask and the other one said she forgot to send someone in there with an attitude. I went there to enjoy a movie and had to walk out several times and my gf was nauseous because we planned on eating there. I will be calling about a refund soon for everything and I plan on not going to that theater ever again. Its gone down hill since I went several years ago.

Willow Brooke is always a great place to visit but I really enjoyed this movie Tavern! The service was great and the people were very helpful and friendly. I love that!

We were the only 2 in the theater until right before the movie started & 2 more came in. Service was quick & friendly & the good was decent (nothing I just have to have again, but not disgusting!) The only issue/concern was that our movie was supposed to start at 1:30, but the previews didnt begin until 1:50???

Bad experience here on sept 26, 2019. Theater number 6 smells really bad like after it got flooded. Service was really bad. We were waiting for half an hour and no waiter showed up. So I went to the bar and ordered it myself and then they saw me ordering and trying to act like they were trying to help me. Im sorry but this place has gotten on its low standards. I suggest you guys go somewhere else because this place has bad service . I will not be coming here anymore until this place cleans up the place and cleans up theyre act and get off their phones and back to work.

This place was great when it was opened. Kinda dirty now. Movie theaters, especially ones that serve food, should do deep cleaning on seats and carpets.

Went to see a movie on a tuesday night and we are literally the only people in that particular theater, so this should have been a breeze for them and us. We ordered chicken mac and cheese and a bacon grilled cheese with tomato soup. A little over an hour later someone finally comes out with our food, except theres fries instead of grilled cheese and no chicken in the chicken mac and cheese, not a single piece. The guy gives me an attitude when I tell him we didnt order the fries and are missing a grilled cheese, and storms off saying hes going to go look to see if its in the kitchen, never to be seen again. About 10 minutes go by and we let someone know we are still waiting for the grilled cheese (oh, and a spoon for the soup), they say theyll send a manager, someone who is not a manager comes, says they will send a manager after we explain it again, and finally the manager arrives. She offers two were sorry cards good for a free visit and promises the food will be out shortly. We wont be needing those. The food finally arrives about 10 minutes before the movie ends. We leave, never to be seen again.

Horrible movie theater. Theater smells like pee. It hits you right when you walk through the door. Popcorn was stale and hard. Margaritas were disgusting. This theater used to be great but has really went down hill. Look around better before choosing this movie theater.

They had some technical problems but the manager was awesome and made me feel great free pass and beautiful smile

We went today for the first time around 6:50 with our soon to be 3 year old. My husband told the lady at the ticket desk the movie we wanted to see, she asked for our sons age, and my husband replied hes about to be 3. She said he cant see the movie its rated R my husband asked really? even with us? his parents? she rudely nodded her head with an attitude Its rated R my husband said wow I didnt know that was such a thing, I thought as long as they were with adults again she rudely nodded her head with an attitude and said Its rated R she did this atleast 3 times. I looked it up after leaving, and sure enough for some reason kids under 6 can not enter a rated R movie, which makes no sense! They are more likely to remember the movie and reenact scenes from age 6+ as opposed to younger. However the girl there (thin built, glasses, dark hair) could have told us this rule, or explained it to us instead of simply being rude and regurgitating the same thing. Definitely will NOT be back!Movie Tavern please do a better job at training yalls employees, being rude is never the way to go with customers.

Loved this place!! The best customer service ever!! From the first person I saw to the last. They hire all types of people here. Two little kids brought us our drinks, a man that was socially special brought us our food. Loved it.. a great experience.

Went on Tuesday morning. Nice theater but volume was so high I used earplugs. Still heard everything at a loud level. Good service even though they were low staffed. Everything but noise level was a good experience. Its seriously like they dont understand that too loud makes people stay away just like bad service or a lousy experience. Hoping they catch on before going out of business. Funny... the pre-show commercials werent that loud... but... clues are short these days. You would think the lack of people attending would make them ask what they could do to improve.
