Very very confused as to how this place is rated so high. Me and my friends (total of 3) were easily able to complete the zombies room (even though it is one of the harder rooms apparently). Also, the room does not flow. Some things have 0 buildup and make no sense whereas some clues are just never utilized. Theres a walkie talkie that is used to communicate to get clues, which is very hard to listen to.Also some tasks dont have any context or instructions on how to get done (as I said earlier, 0 buildup and 0 sense). We also got done with the room and never realized that we were done, so we kept looking for things to do for 5 minutes before the employee told us to get out of the room because we were done. One of the rooms is just there for decoration, you cannot enter it. Also, some props are just never utilized. Theyre just there for the sake of filling space up. That wouldnt be a problem if that happened once or twice but that is literally 75% of the last room before the escape.

Held team building event. Should have picked a more difficult room. Staff was friendly.

We had great experience with the Escape Zones Hotel Room. We had a team of four, including an 11-year-old and grandma, and we all loved it! It was challenging enough, but not overwhelming. Strongly recommend, great entertainment for the whole family!

Went with a group of five and we all had a great time. We selected the Hotel’s Secrets and it’s simple enough not to frustrate you while still be in a lot of fun. Out game master Aku did a great job of explaining everything.

Our experience was below average. My friends and I have been to over 30 escape rooms and we were really looking forward to this one. We did the Zombie Bunker. However, from the moment we walked in, it was not a good experience. The host opened the door for us and gave us a weird look as if he wasnt expecting us. Turns out another group had showed up right before us and booked the room via telephone so their appointment wasnt on the schedule. It took the host a minute to figure it all out.When youre in the room, you communicate with the host via walkie talkie. I dont like that system because it was hard to understand him. Secondly, he kept calling in to make sure his battery was working. That was a little annoying.As for the Zombie Bunker, it was kind of a let down. The door leading into one of the rooms and the door getting out of the room were stuck so we didnt know we were done with a room until the host told us to push hard. One of the clues required a schematic which was never given to us. The host just had to give us the answer just so we could move on. No fun.The room was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. It was nicely decorated and had cool props but I was not impressed by the difficulty.Usually, when my group likes a room, we come back to finish the rest of the rooms in the facility. Unfortunately, I do not think we will be coming back. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths.If you want to know my favorite escape rooms in Houston so far, they would be Strange Bird, Cipher, and The Escape Game. Runners Up would Crazy Kats and Escape The Room in Midtown.

Love the place. Friendly stuff and convenient location. Weve tried the Teslaroom and it was fun! Some of my girlfriends were so serious, they were rushing to solve the quest, but for me it was fun and Ive enjoyed every minute there.Yes, the girl who is helping and giving the instructions- Russian. She was very friendly and helpful!

The game was pretty good. The location was lacking and confusing. The non themed areas were needing some attention. But the game was fun and well staged.

We walked in and they were able to set the room up for us immediately. They suggested the easier room since Ive never done an escape room. It was a great starter for me. We were able to escape fairly quickly and it got me in the escape room mindset. A lot of fun for a couple. I would love to try a harder room with a group of people.

We took the artis room challenge. The room was quite challenging. The employee named Aku help us. He was really nice and helpful. One note for the room: the lock is old so try it with force.

I get a quite challenging room with the Aku is our host. It took us 59min and 30s . Aku is really helpful and give us really helpful hints and clues. Suggestion and confirmation doesnt count toward hint.

I’ve never posted before, but this deserves to be publicly stated.First we arrived at our scheduled time to find the doors locked and nobody there.10 minutes later an employee arrives and I’m feeling like we’ve interrupted her day.Our room wasn’t set up properly ( to say the least) keys were inside locked chests that were needed to open THAT chest!! After being told sorry, sorry, sorry because the electrical system wasn’t working properly to play the game.... a broken key, a missing light bulb ( that was needed to solve the room) well... all I can say is that the 7 of us will never return and you should be very cautious about spending your time or money here! First time in my life that I will request a refund.... probably have a slim to none chance of getting it. The owner is in Russia. You have been warned! I will say ...that we were told we could do another room for free, but we had dinner reservations.

I went here yesterday with my husband and my 9 year old son. We did the hotel room and it was so much fun that we immediately booked the crazy artist room. I definitely recommend this place. It was a super fun activity to do as a family. Not to mention my son was wore out and needed a nap after. Lol.

The artist room was a ton of fun. It was just challenging enough for 2 people who have done around 20 rooms. The gentleman who was the clue master was very informative and super helpful when we needed it. They had some unique puzzles in the room the only problem we had was actually finding it but it was super fun. We will be coming back again for the other rooms.

Zombie bunker was a great challenge. Really fun room setup with cool Russian vintage military controls. Challenging team building in a fun environment. The Russian dude working there was cool and the lady game master was helpful without giving much away.

We played the Zombie Bunker and had a blast. This isnt one of those slap some paint on the wall and hide all clues behind low-tech padlocks kind of rooms. The room was created with lots of tech, lots of attention to detail, and lots of thought went into the story as well. Im looking forward to trying the other rooms!

If I could give this a zero I would. I arrived about 30 minutes early because they stated to be there earlier than your appointment. Once I got there the place was closed. I called the number on the website multiple times (because you have to cancel within 24 hrs which I tried to do so) and emailed them. They responded by email a couple days later and when I asked for a refund the person said to reach them on their mobile phone. Unprofessional. When I requested a number for corporate they have yet to reach back out to me. I’m assuming their not giving me my $60 back which isn’t right. This place is very UNORGANIZED. Do not go here!!!!!

It was an amazing adventure. We had a schedule problem first time, but they made it up for us. The staff was nice, she gave the kids clear instructions. The room was hard to solve, but our kids loved it.

I’m confused by all the good reviews this place has... we did the Crazy Artist’s Workshop room. The place felt basically abandoned. The room itself made no sense thematically (at risk of spoilers, a key puzzle was based on Salvador Dali having designed the logo for Chupa Chups lollipops. What.). It was very obviously just a room with some random stuff stuck on the walls. We didn’t realize we had won the game until one of us was like “there’s nothing left to do, try the door I guess” and it just opened. We were given a cheap walkie-talkie for asking for clues, and it was fuzzy enough that it was basically unusable. The room was full of clutter that, after escaping, an employee told us were “red herrings,” but were lazy and pointless. Look, I know it’s not easy to make an escape room, so I wouldn’t be here unless it was really quite bad, but. It was. It was rough. Go to Escape Game instead, or at least Escape the Room.

Omg! This place is awesome. I took my two daughters with me and we had a blast. 1st the staff is very friendly and helpful. 2nd the inside of the business is really nice and comfy. 3rd its a very fair price.We paid for the Zombie room its tough as nails lol.. But we still had a great time. All the reviews that are negative below this review please disregard. There are no problems or issues with this business everything is in order and up to standard. I highly recommend this place to everyone reading.. We were truly satisfied and will be back very soon. Again this place is awesome.. Go check it out.. Located right off the feeder road on 59..

We (just 2 of us) did the Salvador Dali crazy artist escape room. It was a ton of fun. Our gamemaster was really funny and engaging before and after, and helped us when we needed it. The clues also just werent answers, more like hints to guide us, so it was even more fun. This is the third room and establishment we have done. This maybe our favorite set of puzzles that we have completed thus far! We definitely plan on going back to experience the other rooms.

Wonderful experience! Had a group of 7 and it was perfect for us. Everyone had something to do and we all worked on it together to solve the clues. Owner was incredibly helpful and kind.Place is kind of in the corner of a shopping center so its easy to miss. Cant wait to try the other rooms!

I really loved Quest Shark Adventures! We had Tesla room quest and it was great! The manager Julia is really friendly, helpful and really encouraged our team during the game. We had a wonderful team of very smart 3 people and almost finished the quest that was very difficult for a person like me who never played before. I had an amazing and unforgettable experience and looking forward to play in other quests at this place.

I normally do not post reviews and would like to state up front that we have not visited this escape room, because the initial conversation was fairly unpleasant with the worker. We are a family of seven and budget is a bit tight. We saw on Groupon a deal for the Dalis Workshop for $24.36 and compared to their posted $30/person tix online that was doable, however we called in to inquire about rooms and prices, and any potential discounts at which point the lady on the phone offered us a 20% discount which off of $30/person website price was doable. However, when I double checked the math and asked the lady if tix would be $24/p with discount - she said that the tickets on the website are incorrect and they are actually $34/person - which no where on the website we could see. The lady would not listen about their wrong pricing and ended up hanging up on me. Their rooms look good, however it is a very uncomfortable feeling when the establishment is not upfront with their pricing.

Nick was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was so much fun! Would highly recommend these escape rooms and plan to book again

Having never done an escape room, I was very skeptical of what was going to happen. My group chose the hotel escape room and it took all 3 of us almost the entire hour to solve. Every time we thought we were done there was another clue to find or puzzle to solve. All in all this was a fantastic group activity and we will definitely go again. Also the host was extremely accommodating and helpful!

What a fun date night! The crazy artist workshop was super challenging, but not so challenging as to be frustrating. I will for sure go back!

We brought a birthday party gang of folks and booked 2 rooms: hotel escape and zombie bunker. I was so excited to experience this since there were so many great reviews. But after attending I would say stay as far away from here as possible as it is a huge waste of money and time. We’re pretty regulars with escape rooms - this was probably between the 10th or so spot we’ve tried, having booked rooms in Houston, DC, NY and LA, and this was BY FAR the most underwhelming experience ever. The facilities are in complete disrepair. And when I say disrepair I mean there were nails sticking out of the wall which were not part of the props, dirty props and when you pull up you’ll think you pulled up to a very bad area. The young woman working today was super friendly and very helpful (best part of our experience actually was her friendliness) but there was no acting or dramatic build up for the rooms whatsoever like other rooms we’ve validities, and we could t really understand our hostess at all as she tried to provide instructions and clues. Needless to say we will not return and advise others to save your money. Try the Escape Room Houston in Memorial City - that’s probably the best one we’ve been too with excellent decorative rooms and props and acting.

We were a group of 4, and we did the hotel escape, as it was a bit more general for interest for our group. I have to say, 4 people was the perfect size for these rooms. The puzzles were clever and so much fun!!! Our group set a record at 22 minutes. FUN!!! Only wish? If you set such a record, youre given a shot at the second room. Even if they only give you a reduced time for it. That would have been AWESOME! The gentleman (I forget his name) who greeted us with the Eastern European accent was absolutely wonderful! He seemed a bit surprised we were out so quickly, but it just added to our amusement at the experience. On the fence? DO IT!!!

Worst experience Ive ever had with an escape room. Most of the puzzle pieces were in the wrong location or missing altogether so it was impossible to solve anything. The few puzzles that were solvable were broken and we had to have the staff manually unlock them before we could procede.

2018 December: We visited Quest again (3rd time) this year to try the TESLA room. This has become our family Xmas tradition with kids and we all love it. Nicolas the host is a great guy, who is very customer friendly and professional. He explains everything very well and monitors the progress. He maintains the place really clean and good from inside. We will definitely visit this again.2016 December: The Master (Nicolas) was really nice. He explained everything very nicely. He was also flexible to allow us to take our kids (age 6, 7 and 9) in the room. The kids had a blast. We all had a good memorable experience.

My wife and I went here with two other couples on a Thursday night. This was the first time any of us had done an escape room. The owner of the establishment was very courteous and pleasant. He gave us a brief introduction and laid out the ground rules. Then we were put inside the escape room. It was an absolute blast! The room was very clever and fun. The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the details of the room and props. However, my wife and I agreed afterward that the puzzles/challenges could have been more difficult to solve. Overall, the escape room was super fun and we would highly recommend Quest Shark Adventures for those looking for a unique adventure!

We did the Hotels Room and it was great. It was hard but not impossible. Even my 6 year old daughter enjoyed it. We are definately coming back to try the rest of the rooms.

This place was great. Weve been twice now, and escaped both rooms! We cant wait until they open up the next sets of rooms. Weve taken some friends with us and everyone had a great time. The puzzles arent easy, so you definitely need to pay attention to all the clues!

When our spring break plans were rained out we searched for something college kids would like and lucked into Quest Sharks escape room. We had a blast! Its not often you find something that Mom, Dad, and the twenty year olds like but this was it. Perfect! Nick was great. Being newbies he explained it to us in a way that made us comfortable. We will definitely be back to do the other room this summer!!!

Kind of hard to find, signage is very small and tucked away, but we did get there a bit early so it wasnt a problem. Other than that loved the room, my group did the hotel room since we were not very experienced and we had about 15 minutes to spare with a group of 7, everyone enjoyed it, would recommend

This was our second time at Quest. We did the hotel room the first time and had time to spare. This time we did the Tesla room and had a great time but did not make it out. I would recommend Quest for anyone looking for a fun night out with family or friends.

Very friendly staff, not a long wait for our room to be ready (keep in mind you gotta book a time). This was my first Escape the Room experience and I was not disappointed. We did Dali’s Workshop with just 2 people and it’s incredibly rewarding finding the solutions to puzzles and unlocking new challenges – I think they did a great job with a consistent theme and can’t wait to try out their future rooms.

A few of the locks were broken and the locks were broken so the host had to unjam the key or use a spare key because a safe was broken.

Had a great time, the puzzles are challenging and fun. This was our second time here and we will definitely be back.

Nick welcomed us and gave a well explained briefing on what to expect in the room and was helpful when asked for hints/clues. He told us of the upcoming room they are designing and we will definitely return upon completion.

My first experience playing that kind of quest. I was skeptical at the beginning, but appeared to be lots of fun. This could be a great alternative to corporate event or just warm-up for the friends get-together before dinner or something.

We had a great time did two escape rooms there ..the only complaint I have is one of the other players that join had an attitude and was not a team player kinda ruin the experience of even trying she hogged the puzzles and got irritated that others wanted to try ..I mean we paid money to play also ..she just wanted all the credit ..that everyone else worked so hard to figure out and her actually completing the puzzle took alot of time from the clock ..but over all the rooms were challenging and fun ..looking forward for new rooms to play
