Not so great , no real trails, nothing marked , bizarre access between houses ...
Spent an hour exploring the park recently and would not recommend it to anyone who doesnt enjoy heavily -- and I mean heavily -- overgrown woodlands. Clearly, it hasnt been maintained in years, and there are no marked trails. It also is infested with sharp thorns that grow chest-high. Theyre everywhere. So, if you go, gloves, boots, long sleeves, and jeans or other durable long pants are an absolute must or you risk painful lacerations to your legs, arms, and hands. I did see a flock of wild turkeys and a neighbor told me that deer occasionally go there for water. In addition, there are many species of trees. There may also be features of historical value, but theyd be under layers of dead leaves. The park could be much more of an asset to the community than it is. First, however, years of neglect would need to be overcome. A project for the Boy Scouts, perhaps?
Nice place to go for a walk
