Really cool cruise indeed. Definitely recommended. Go for the sunset cruise as the weather cools down and the breeze can feel nice. Clouds can play spoil sport but you cant control that. Captain and the host were awesome giving lots of info. They did shut down the motor and let the wind take care of it all. Really enjoyed.

We thoroughly enjoy this experience. Jeanne and Captain John are wonderful. We go to Hilton Head Island every year, and include this sailboat ride each time. Jeanne and Captain John make the ride. They have been in the business for MANY years, and to shows. If you go to Hilton Head, I would definitely recommend including this sailboat crew as part of your trip.

Jeanne and Captain John made my sailing trips absolutely wonderful. Their boats are smooth sailing and fun. Ive seen dolphins, learned about salt marshes, watched the pelicans and herons, and learned the local lore. It doesnt get any better than this. Bring friends and a picnic and drinks. The sunsets are glorious and John times the sailing perfectly to enjoy them. On the return trip sailing back to the dock, it got so dark and was the best starry night ever. You can see the Milky Way and more stars than anywhere Ive ever been. I saw in a previous post that someone fell in the parking lot, so Id say, call the marina that owns the parking lot. Hilton Head Island restricts lighting (for the sea turtle habitat and to reduce light pollution). Dont complain to the fine sailors that gave you a trip you enjoyed. Jeanne and John made my sailing cruises absolutely easy, memorable, and delightful times. This is a great outing for business, family, friends, weddings, or singles.

We did this tour when my family came in town to visit in May of 2015. It was an amazing tour and time! Would definitely do it again!

I recently attended a wedding on the Pau Hana and the charter was ok. HOWEVER, once we returned it was so dark out that one could barely tell where they were walking. Once we arrived at the edge of the parking lot two of us fell. One lady suffered scraped knees, however I required 911 to be called. My ankle was badly sprained to the point that I had to have a wheelchair for the rest of our vacation and for all of our flights home. I also hurt both knees and we feared that my right wrist was broken. Fortunately the wrist was only badly bruised but even a week later is sore to the touch.The area where we fell had very rough pavement coverage and the falls could have been prevented with proper lighting. Fortunately neither one of us suffered injuries that are life threatening but if the lighting is not corrected it is only a matter of time before someone is badly injured.

Beautiful sunset cruise with a fantastic guide and captains. Something I would highly recommend doing while in Hilton Head.

We use the Pau. Hana every year for our neighborhood party. Jeannie and John are excellent!
