Good stop for a rainy day. The tasting is reasonably priced at $10 for your choice of 6 of their products. Unfortunately, unless you are a fan of flavored liquors, the choices are slim. The vodka is not bad, and the coconut rum is probably their best offering. Im not a big fan of flavored whiskey, but if you are, they have several to sample. I am a bourbon drinker, but the straight bourbon was not to my liking.The facility is nice and the people pleasant, if not overly informative. Bring your mask. Unfortunately, they are not currently offering tours of the distillery due to Covid (as of October 15, 2020).

This place was awesome! Haley took great care of us! We took advantage of the 6 tastings for only $10. I had a gin, 3 different rums, and 2 whiskeys. My favorites were the espresso rum and the peach whiskey. My wife loved the toasted coconut rum. Its a beautiful lounge and tasting room. Very modern and neat and clean. We highly recommend this place when you are on HHI. Cant wait to come back!

The wait may be long but be patient. Why? Because this place is totally worth it. Props to the two people working today because it was busy. Line was long at the door due to limited seating but the espresso and spiced rims were amazing. If you like rum you’ll enjoy the tasting here. Problem is we may have to con back next week with family and friends so that’s a problem! It’s some cool flavors that are almost like the flavored runs of the Caribbean but here in the states.

This is an amazing place with outstanding Rums and Vodka and Whiskeys!! People are so Friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time !! The Banana Foster Rum and Mtn Peak Espresso Rum , Toasted Coconut ,Spiced Rum were some of the best i have ever tasted!! When visiting Hilton Head Island this is a must see and Taste !!

My wife and I stop by for the tasting and really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very friendly. The drinks were good. Hopefully we can come back when they oper back up for tours.

Great small distillery, great tasting samples, and of course great selection especially if you want to take any home. Very reasonably priced bottles to take home. My favorites were the Banana Fosters Rum, Mountain Peak Espresso Rum, and the Whiskey Girl Peach whiskey. The New World Aged Rum was pretty good too, and so was the Dark 23 Rum, just didnt take them home.However, dont bother the bartender because he didnt seem like he wanted to be there, and was very unengaged and doesnt like when you ask questions. Also, not sure if its Covid-19 only, but you will have to go get your own water from the water fountain, per the bartender.There is no food here, so be smart and eat something before coming here, the sample size is roughly 6 shots of whatever you choose from the taste list.

Great place that you have to visit while on the Island. The selection of Rums, Whiskeys and Gin are plentiful. I recommend the Espresso and the Coconut Whiskey. The staff is so friendly and pleasant to talk to.

Cool place...the toasted coconut rum is Everything!!

Do not order from them online. They use a 3rd party company out of California to ship their spirits. I placed an order on jun 23rd. Here it is August 3rd and nothing. I emailed Hilton Head they blame speakeasy, I email speakeasy and they blame Hilton Head. However they did send me a created ups label 10 days ago. Scam!!!! All I have is a $150 charge on my credit card. Cant wait to dispute that with chase. Buyer beware, never again!!

The environment is calm and welcoming. The prices make sense and you get the proper amount of education with each tasting. The tours are given on certain days so be sure to check ahead of time. I was very pleased and ended up purchasing 3 bottles. A definite recommendation for the rum and vodka lover.

First distillery Ive ever visited. Enjoyed the tour and enjoyed the flight more. Bananas Foster and Espresso rums were amazing and the vodka was like glass smooth. Loved it!

Was a bit nervous to visit since we had our 7 yr old and 3 yr old in tow, but they said on the website that they were kid friendly so we decided to give it a shot. They were right! The bartenders were personable, talking and engaging both the grown-ups and our kids. They welcomed them on the tour and even entertained their questions. Will definitely be returning on future visits to HHI! Also, their vodka is AMAZING.

First Distillery Ive ever visited with a tour. Very good atmosphere. We did the 6 Neat Samples and 2 Neat Samples with 2 cocktails. Prices for bottles and tasting are not bad at all. All tastings no matter the option are $15 each.

Smaller than expected, but still good. I recommend taking the tour. It comes with the tasting and I was done in about 45 mins (including cocktail and shopping). Id be interested in watching them grow.

We received the tour and then were able to enjoy our tasting selections. The distillery is small, but very cute and cozy. I picked option B which included 4 tastings and one cocktail and everything I tasted was very good.

Cool little place. The tour to see the distillery was really interesting (it wasnt running but it was still cool to see). For the tasting I liked the espresso rum sample, and tried the Bees Knees and the Daiquiri with blueberry lavender simple syrup. The Bees Knees was pretty good, but the Daiquiri was pretty bland and watery. My mom said her drinks were kinda meh as well, but the couple beside us enjoyed all of their drinks. (We also had different people make our drinks). It was a cool experience, but one visit is enough.

Weve been to several big brand name distilleries, and this one was our favorite one! Tour guide and bartender were super friendly, and the drinks super good. Definitely a must see.

Great service and very tasty

This was a great fine, nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff were amazing, very through on explaining the different types of tasting. The liquor tasting samples were plenty, the cocktails very smooth. It was nice to have a bottle of water to rinse your palette after each tasting sample. We didn’t tour the distillery, but sat and enjoyed our drinks. I would recommend that you get arrive early. We did take several bottles of rum home. Very tasty!

Great getaway place to come and relax. They make great cocktails such as a Coconut Volcano and Caribbean Coffee. Both were excellently crafted. This will be the wifes and I hideaway spot

Wow, incredible products. Best spice rum my wife every had. The espresso rum and coconut rum, some if not the best weve had. ( We have been to 26 distilleries, so I feel a good same size) Now I just have to make sure the bottles survive the flight home.

A relatively new addition to the island. Tucked in the Northern part of the island near the Airport. A smaller operation but has the potential to be the next big thing on the island. On the same road as the winery and the Brewery. The perfect local for an afternoon crawl. Mind the hours as a smaller operation there is still a tight window for making a tour. Would highly recommend for any cocktail lovers!!!

Great experience! Great Rum and Vodka! The Espresso Rum is terrific with coffee and vanilla cream. I could have consumed the entire bottle! The gift shop is wonderful. Very kind and generous people work there. Definitely a top 10 on Hilton Head. Young business but expect great things to happen! They deserve it!

Nice little place. Very friendly staff. Tastings are a great deal. Can get essentially a flight of straight rum shots, or three different rum cocktails, or a combination. For only$15, a pretty good deal. Nice way to spend an hour or so on a hot afternoon.

We went for the tour and tasting! ($20) The tour itself is short and will take about 20 minutes, the guides are informative and will let you ask pretty much anything! The best part was the tasting which is where they will give you a signature shot glass and more than your moneys worth of rum. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and I would definitely recommend you talk to the distiller who is young and informative!

We had a great time and every question we had was answered in detail. Im not a liquor connoisseur but the mixed drinks were excellent.

The HHD was a magical place. An adults only playground that allowed you to taste amazing potions that were crafted by magicians. I loved this place. The bartenders were well versed in all of the different drinks that you could make with their products and they werent pushy. Yes they sold the bottles there but the bartenders never asked us to buy them. (We did though) I really liked the way they gave you the options of how you could taste their spirits. I am in love with this place. PLEASE START SHIPPING!!!! I DONT CARE HOW MUCH IT COSTS!!!!

My fiance and I had a wonderful time here! The tour was very interesting, and it is cool to see how they are in touch with the history of Hilton Head and have incorporated that into their own. We did the tour and tasting which cost $20 per person (STEAL!). Best $20 Ive ever spent. For that you get the tour and then a 0.4 oz pour of each of their 6 liquors. On top of that, you also get a craft cocktail, which on that day was made by their master distiller Pete. Everyone who works there was extremely friendly and did everything they could to make our experience wonderful. We will definitely come back the next time we are on the island!

Completely awesome small distillery! We were super impressed with the toasted coconut rum, espresso rum, and spiced rum. The vodka was ultra smooth and potentially worth the trip back for. Highly recommended stop if in or near Hilton Head and looking for something different to try. You will not be disappointed in their establishment!!!

I love everything about the place, from the inconspicuous location to the nautical decor to the super friendly staff to the tasty spirits (drinks the espresso and coconut rums, folks!) it’s such a chill place where you feel more like a local than a tourist. Really enjoyed the people, both staff and guests, as much as the booze.

The tour here was excellent. We took our wedding guests and the tour guide/bartender were very accommodating! Its a fairly short tour but a very nice facility and their products are very high quality. Definitely worth doing at least once!

I went last year and had a great time. This time there was no bar stools to sit on the bartender did not engage in any talk about the different drinks. I was pretty disappointed this time.

I went in for a tour and tasting, but the place was slammed and short handed so we ended up just getting in on the tasting. I was under the impression this was a whisky distillery. It was a great find regardless.First thing, check with your resort. They might have coupons available for the tour and tasting. Its normally $20 but got ours for $15. The tasting consists of their vodka, espresso rum, coconut rum, spiced rum and some kind of platinum distilled rum. The Aermoor vodka is impressively smooth. I ended up getting a couple of bottles.Following the flight, you can select your choice of cocktail. If you get there during what they call Local Hour, you can choose to have two cocktails instead of a cocktail and flight. In the same area, there is Island Winery as well as Hilton Head Brewery. Its pretty awesome.

My wife and I noticed this location right next to the Island Winery. The tasting was well run and the staff were very fun. We greatly enjoyed hearing about the different rums. We enjoyed the flavored runs so much we bought all of them. A great way to spend some time.
