We read the reviews and so didnt have our hopes up too much but we were pleasantly surprised!! Got to check in early and even if you cant, you can hang out at the pool until your room is ready. Pool was excellent. Condo layout was perfect. Our condo was very clean and we had plenty of supplies. It is a very short walk to Coligny but the free golf cart shuttle is amazing!!! Tip the driver - worth every penny! :) We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back.

Condo and grounds are nice and clean. Pools are nice and we only visited 2 of the 3. The kiddie pool is only 1.5 ft deep. The fountain pool goes to almost 5 feet. There are several activities provided by the resort daily, some of which require a fee.The rooms are nicely sized and they include what you need for a load of laundry and several loads of dishes. The beds are comfy and come with a nice bedding set. One downfall with bedding is the pullout. The mattress is flimsy and you can feel the metal bars below. The couch is more comfy to sleep on than the actual pullout.There is a washer and dryer in the unit but no laundry basket. A little odd, but oh well.Theres a free shuttle service to wherever you want to go on the south side of the island. Driver works for tips and is very nice.There are parking garages for each of the buildings and elevators.Overall a nice stay and I would recommend it as a nice place to stay.

Great clean friendly place.The entire island pushes wearing masks pretty hard, which isnt a bad thing but a good thing to know in advance if your home area doesnt push the mask thing very hard which also isnt a bad thing but good to know in advance.

We have stayed at Waterside before and rated it 5 star. This visit was during election week. After the election a large party took place next door and out on the balcony and in outside hallway. People were coming and going for hours. I estimated there were between 20 to 30 people there at a time. There was continuous yelling and loud noise into the early morning. We called for security several times and were told that the security officer had been called to another resort.Outside of this event, we had a pleasant stay.

Wonderful staff and beautiful property, located just off Pope St. and a short walk to the beach. Well appointed units replete with a private bike locker and two bicycles for a quintessential Hilton Head experience.

It was well equipped with all amenities.

We are owners and have our family has been staying here for years. Up until this stay, which is under new management, has all been good. When we checked in, the hot water heater was not working, the master bathroom was dirty (grime on the bottom of the tub and the vanity with red hair which is neither the color of my wife or self). The silver ware was all dirty which during our stay we found out was due to a poorly functioning dishwasher. The carpets were not vacuumed and fraying in areas. The overall condition of this facility was far poorer than previous visits

This resort was okay. There was a dead roach in the kitchen area as soon as we walked in and the air conditioning unit wasnt big enough for the space. The condo itself was okay for a quick getaway. After checkout, I looked at my cc charges and found they charged me the hotels.com rate after the registration had to be paid in full! Still waiting on the charge to be erased.

Had a great time staying here. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The condo was clean, welll maintained, and everything worked great. A full kitchen, with microwave, coffee pot, toaster, utensils, and cooking press and pans. It was a great vacation. We will be back!

Currently staying here right now, about to leave. Overall it’s a pretty nice place to stay, pools are great! We stayed in unit 5212. There’s just a few minor things that could be changed in the future. They could update their small appliances like the Toaster Ovens and the Dish Washers. The toaster oven was jammed and wouldn’t work until we fixed it ourselves and the Housekeeping is slow. We called Monday evening for a big stove pot to cook meat and they said “It’ll be up shorty” and still on Friday we don’t have one, and there was water damage by the window, but other than those few minor things our stay was amazing!

Very clean and quiet. 2 blocks to Coligny shopping and dining, 3 blocks to public beaches. Highly recommend.

Waterside is a beautiful condo complex a short walk from the beach. It has a large pool, small kiddie pool and various daily activities.

It is a nice place to stay comfortable and steps from the beach.

We love our accommodations but disappointed that the hot tub is out of service. We love the proximity of the resort as well.

Great location to the beach , shops , restaurants and Bats . Our room was very clean and well equipped. Live the night light in the master bathroom for nighttime trips . Hot tub awesome and so were the afternoon cookies and root beer floats ! Would return in a heart beat

Waterside Resort is a nice place to enjoy your time in Hilton Head island. Its conveniently located to the beach and shopping and several restaurants. The units are spacious and comfortable. The staff has been wonderful, both courteous and helpful.

This was my first time visiting Hilton Head Island. This Resort was inexpensive, but that was not an indication on how beautiful it would be. My husband and I loved our place which was a one bedroom condo. The location was very peaceful, scenic, and beautiful. The resort had just received an extensive renovation and upgrade. This location of Hilton Head near Coligny Beach is very relaxing, yet there are many festive things to do. I would definitely stay at this location again, given the chance.

Great location near Coligny Beach. Large 3 BR, 3 Ba unit was well maintained and restaurants were great. We love being on Hilton Head in then fall when crowds are not a problem. Lovely stay.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit between the main office building and beautiful green trees. Access to the pools was great, but this seemed less like a resort and more like a hotel room with a full kitchen. There really isnt much on site beyond the pools and some bikes for rent. Luckily, its close to amazing restaurants, coffee and other smoothie, juices, nail salons and all types of shopping. We walked everywhere and felt fine letting our 15-17 year old teens wander on their own. Free golf cart rides can easily get you to the beach which is just beyond all the commerce if you cant or dont want to manage the walk. Live music was everywhere. We lived Hilton Head Island and will definitely be coming back, but not to this resort. Beyond the lack of amenities, the rooms were mostly clean, but very outdated and it was apparently impossible to get all 3 of our rooms on the same floor. There are no adjoining rooms.

Nice pools, clean accommodations, friendly front desk staff, terrible wifi.

If I could rate this lower I would. Customer service horrendous. Putrid smell in the kitchen of our villa, after a few days we were moved to another villa. Our temperpedic pillow has not been returned. Over a week and we haven’t heard back. Continue to get the same runaround. When you call to follow up, they give you an attitude telling us to “wait until someone contacts you” supervisors do not return your call.

One of our best vacations yet! The pools were amazing, our condo was in tip top shape! Everything was fabulous! We certainly hope to be back next year!

Good for the location and comfort, but looks better in the pictures. The main pool is constantly too cold to swim in and to the elevators are annoyingly slow. Still in a good area, though; A very nice lagoon for bird watching and a consistently vacant stretch of beach are both within walking distance. Also The Ice Cream Cone nearby and the local shopping center has all the vacation essentials.

Thin walls people make noise in rooms after 11:pm

Clean and partially updated. Loved the layout of the triple bed room house. Kitchen had granite countertops. Coffee machine had a wire mesh filter. Beach towels under the bathroom sink. Wonderful beds. We had a great time.

The handicap rooms are not truly set up for handicap. doors are not wide enough for a rollator to get through. Grab bars are short and improperly located to assist. Bathroom tiles are not slip resist, very dangerous. Other than that a. great location.

This is a great resort. We exchanged our timeshare through Interval International and we ended up being very happy. The units are relatively newly decorated, they are spacious and well equipped.Two swimming pools, hot tub and other amenities on site.Hilton Head is beautiful and you can see why so many choose HH as their travel destination.

Very nice place

The toilets always took 2 flushes no matter what was in it. We had a balcony but all we heard all day was the construction tools a couple doors down. Waterside was close to Coligny so we were able to walk everywhere which was nice. The room was clean and nicely set up.

Family friendly and relatively nice rooms. Unfortunately there is not nearly enough parking for the amount of occupants.

We decided to travel to Hilton Head for our first time and a few days of R&R. our condo was very nice and clean,close to everything,small complaint was needs a little upgrading. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Its alright. There are many places they could improve including parking and air conditioning in the elevators. The sales team will make false promises, so beware.

Rooms are always amazing and spotless. Guest Services counter is always pleasant and willing to assist all needs. They even throw in free stuff!

We have been coming to this place every other year since 2000 and love it! Its just a really great place!

This place was very nice and well maintained. This was our first time visiting and I know we will come back to visit Hilton Head again. It seems that this place is a great family place in the warmer months.

We arrived early to check-in and was told that no one gets their keys until 4:00. We left and had lunch. We came back a little before 4:00 and still couldn’t get the key while other people where getting their keys to their rooms.Also, we were asking for a map of the grounds at the Concierge Desk and was met with a pointing of her finger towards the Check-in and she never spoke.The staff in the office are very unprofessional and no southern hospitality whatsoever!

Had to wash most of the dishes before using. Condo not fully stocked. This is one bedroom. Would request not to stay in the end unit unless you enjoy the view of a wall all week. Not sure why when you have been an owner for 20+ years you are not given a better condo without having to pay extra when there are lots of available condos at this time of the year as well as not being allowed to stay in shipyard without paying extra even though your contract says you have a choice. Nope, no choice

We loved our week at Waterside by Spinnaker! Our unit was clean and comfortable. The amenities were nice and, of course, there was Hilton Head, Charleston, and Savannah.

This resort was one of the most cleanest, well-kept, friendly Resorts that Ive ever been to on Hilton Head Island. I would highly recommend it as a great family atmosphere, and have marked it on the calendar as one of our annual stops.

This place is an absolute dump and the staff are incredibly rude, unorganized, and not customer oriented. One star is too high of a rating.Stay anywhere else.Edit: your managers didn’t seem to care so what is the “appropriate department” going to do?

The facility is very nice and clean. The pool is large and has plenty of space for everyone even during the busiest part of the day. There was a kiddie pool, but it is currently closed for renovation... I found this very inconvenient that they decided to renovate this pool during the peak season in the middle of the summer. We have a 10-month old and were really looking forward to the kiddie pool so this is why I am rating only 3 stars. The location is very convenient to everything the island has to offer and there is a shuttle that will take you to the beach if needed.

Visited for my honeymoon, and was super impressed by the room. Far nicer than I was expecting, and really clean. There was a full kitchen, great TVs, and the pools were great. Was only able to stay for 3 days, but I would definitely stay again if I go back to HHI.

Great resort. Close to beach and the island has free shuttles if you don’t want to walk. Shopping is also within walking distance. Pools are convenient. Units are updated a spacious.

Wi-Fi not good at all. Routers need updated... old protocols and no 5gig A/C. No passwords for secure link. Channels defaulted and stacked up on each other. Yes im an IT guy. All else is fine for mid May owner visit for almost 30 year old facilities, but recommend remodeling original buildings and get ride of 90s everything. Provided discounts on island events are great. Maybe outdoor big screen movies would be fun.

My wife and I own a timeshare there. We go once a year. We really like it this close to Coligny Plaza. And just a short hike to the beach. Facilities here include a nice pool in many events for guests. We enjoy it annually.

Very well maintained units. Hilton Head is a very family friendly area too. Nice bicycle paths and lots of stores within walking distance. The only issue I have is they pester you to upgrade your timeshare to something that costs a lot more. Twice a day calls and notes in your door lock.

This is 6th week in last 12 years i have stayed at waterside. It is an excellent place for families to stay on the island.

Nothing spectacular about the resort. A little out dated. We enjoy the 3 pools and close access to Coligny and the beach. Not a fan of the changes weve seen in the past few years. Charging for mid week cleaning. Only supplying supplies for the first few days of your stay. A convenience/starter kit. People pay A LOT of money for these resorts. Seems like toiletries and other necessities would be included.

We have been owners at Waterside for over 10 years. The Resort has always been well maintained both the grounds and condos. Anytime we have had a maintenance issue it has always been promptly taken care of by the staff. The staff as been very helpful when needed. We have also had units at other Spinnaker Properties on the Island and they too are kept to a high standard. I would not have any reservations recommending Spinnaker Properties.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The property was gorgeous. We stayed in one of the three bedroom units. The amount of space we had was impressive. The staff were all very friendly. The only thing I wasnt too sure about was the alligator out back. I had to reassure my daughter that there was no way it could climb into our room. As far as I know it hasnt learned how to work an elevator either. We kept our distance! l would highly recommend this location to anyone considering a stay in the area.
