I really liked this place! I really enjoyed the view of the sea marsh with its interesting seabirds and watching the tide go in and out and the boats coming in from the small harbor thats close by. Much better than the monotony of a sandy beach. The place was really nice and clean. We had a great time there.

Very nice. However, there was a flap banging all night as it was unsecured. Called the office they fixed it. Bikes to rent. Nice rooms but need updating. Beautiful views.

Loved this hotel even though its slightly old buildings externally, but the rooms are well furnished. Big and neat rooms, have an outdoor shared pool, a gazebo, a fireplace etc. Friendly front desk. This is not near the beach but its drivable and is close to the shopping areas. Will definitely stay here on next visit

This place is amazing, people here are really nice and staff very knowledgeable of area. Scenery is off the hook and wild life is abound the property. Sunsets are great see pics.

Very nice complex. Low key. Best was the view of the sound! Units on small side. Should have done homework but 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, which was an issue with grown children. The complex needed a good scrubbing. Spiderwebs everywhere on the outside. Saw maintenance staff clean grills daily but never saw anyone cleaning pool area, especially in late afternoons when we used tranquility pool. TVs never worked well. Internet was out for a day and a half. But resort was all in all very nice and quiet.

A perfect place to relax and recharge. Water views of Broad Creek. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Shelter Cove Marina. Marriott Harbor Pointe thinks of everything! Beautiful apartments well stocked, wonderful activities, two pools, grills available, exercise room and fabulous staff who goes above and beyond everytime. Love this place!

It was nice, spacious a little dated. It is not close to a lot. Still had to drive to the beach, and I was just done for one night so very accommodating.

Timeshare owner in Palm Springs. This property came available in a location that mom and I both wanted to see. Hilton Head and Savannah are alluring, especially the beaches and moss drenched live oak trees. Only disappointment with this property, no concierge to advise and help plan a few things. Thankful for Google!

The rooms were beautiful and well stocked. We particularly enjoyed the heated pool. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a list of activities the hotel provided its guests. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back.

Room is actually better than expected - the pictures didnt do it justice. Check in was smooth and quick with no attempt to sell us anything. Staff very friendly and accommodating. And the view from our balcony is lovely.

Exceptional views. Tons of things to do. And the rooms are beautiful and updated regularly. From Marriotts Harbour Point you can drive or bike to the beach across the street, bike to shops and events at the harbour, play tennis, swim. I normally like staying ON the beach but the view overlooking the harbour is so beautiful that I actually like this better. It feels secluded even when beaches are busy all day long

Wonderful spacious condo,fully stocked with all your needs, even a personal laundry room and decorated with vibrant colors.Master bedroom was perfect with awesome jacuzzi tub to relax in.King bed was comfortable had us very welll rested.Balcony views off the river had osprey and eagles putting on spectacular shows!The hospitality was kind and helpful.Pool and outdoor grounds perfectly kept.Loved our bikerides,gas lit fire outside was nice along with plenty of games to play.We really enjoyed our very peaceful stay.Highly recommended and close to everything Hilton Head island has to offer.

Great location. Walk to restaurants along the harbor. Beautiful views. Beach less than two miles away with free shuttle. If possible, bring your own umbrella and chairs because renting them on the beach is crazy expensive. Lovely outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Extremely clean. Very friendly staff.

Very nice, just redone. Staff was excellent and the pool food is definitely worth the price. We had the chicken and cheeseburgers and Nachos. Dont sweat the beach access, they have a free shuttle and they drop you right off at the beach. We also had a nice meal in shelter cove which is about a 10 minute walk.

Very spacious 2 Br villa. Pleasant staff. Wish the construction did not Start til 10 am instead of 9am as this is a vacation resort and not a business hotel so guests are not up as early. Good bike rental rate. Great location.

We had a wonderful week on the salt Marsh. Not the most glamorous Marriott on Hilton Head but the salt Marsh up close is the main attraction. Go on a dolphin cruise while you are there.

This is a Time Share, we go every December. If you like to Vacation, a Time Share is the way to go. Everything is there except your cloths and your food. You have to go Marriott.

Weve had a timeshare here for 28 years. Our entire family comes...a family tradition. We love it.

This place is THE BEST. The staff is amazing. I made a mistake of choosing a nearby nightmare hotel and they bent over backwards to get me an early check-in so I could shower after sleeping fully clothed in my previous hotel. This place is incredibly CLEAN! Staff is AMAZING. I love this place and will return with a smile on my face. THANK YOU to the staff for making me feel like family. Genuinely felt like you guys cared. I own a real estate firm and understand the importance of customer service- I was really impressed by yours. ️️

Great views and accommodations

Our room was not up to Marriott standards. We stay at the Marriott frequently (ever since our honeymoon) and my husband is a titanium member because he stays about 80 nights/year for work. He used points he accumulated over the course of the last year to book this stay because we were thinking about joining the Marriott Vacation Club. Our room is outdated and several things were falling apart or broken. We were stuck on the very edge of the property and a wall blocks most of the sunlight so it’s like a cave during most the day. He brought his parents along and wasn’t aware there would be twin beds here because he’s never seen them at any other Marriott property. Needless to say, we will not be joining the MVC. The manager was pleasant but ultimately unhelpful with resolving our issue. The property itself is well manicured but our experience was heavily impacted by the quality of our room. His parents weren’t comfortable and he was embarrassed because this is the first trip he brought them on since we’ve been married. We’re looking into the Disney Vacation Club instead at the prompting of his parents.

March 28, 2018From the time we checked in, until now everything has been marvelous. Im simply loving the atmosphere, as well as other guest who seems to be really enjoying themselves. I can not take anything away from how perfect Marriotts Harbour Point and Sunset Pointe has been to my family. Although were not exactly on the beach, its easily 10 minutes away and we were very pleased with it as well. Without any doubt, well be back really soon for another beautiful stay and get- away.

For the older crowd or anyone who wants to relax and get away from it all. Best sunsets in the area with no other resorts cramping the space. Heated pool, fire pits BBQs, bike rentals and friendly staff. All units 2 bed suites so its perfect for families too.Near by supermarkets and restaurants.

Very clean! Great staff and location! Ended up booking this place after arriving at a previously booked place that was terrible!! The lady at check in made sure to get us in the room as quickly as possible so we could make the event we had scheduled. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Worth the price! The staff are really nice and there is a pool too! They give you food for free sometimes, and they do giveaways, I got an 100$ zipline ticket for free from them!

Wonderful week on the sound. Most people want the beach but there is so much activity on the sound with boats, kyacks, paddle boarding and tour boats. Birds abound so dont forget the binoculars. Our balcony gave a front row seat to the fireworks. The pools satisfy any water activity with pool side grills. Very quiet at night. Go and enjoy.

Several dirt issues. Very very dated and worn furnishings. Couch slanted so we had sit on chairs. Shower curtain discolored and tub stained from age. Appliances old and worn. Poorly stocked kitchen. Poor lighting. We own several timeshares and this, by far, was one of the worst places weve stayed. Having said all those negatve comments, the staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The pool and view from the pool very beautiful.

This is a great location. Youre a bike ride from the beach, and its a short walk to the harbor with its assorted activities, restaurants, and live music. The staff was friendly and responsive.

The Villas are nice, due to this style it is not everyday cleaning and trash service. There is no smoking in the rooms which is nice but they also dont allow smoking on the balconies or the pools which is a slight inconvenience but also understandable. Im at the beginning of my stay but so far so good.

Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great family atmosphere with activities for younger and older children. Location is ideal if you like riding bicycles as you are only 4 miles from the beach and even closer to restaurants and shopping.

Me and my family live about 2 1/2 hours away from HHI, so we come to this beautiful island several times a year. Weve stayed at many different hotels during our past visits. I MUST say that this hotel was by far the nicest weve every stayed in. The cleanliness was just unbelievable. The Location was prefect. Our room faced the river and marsh, the seen was amazing. My wife didnt wont to leave. I would recommend this hotel to everyone no matter your age or family size.

Returned again to this delightful resort. Spacious villa on the 5th floor overlooking the back bay. Very close parking with plenty of room. The staff was the friendliest of all the Marriotts I have visited. You have to walk a long way to get into deep water at high tide.

Loved everything about it!!!

Im very impressed with this resort. The location is walkable to restaurants and shops ***** the marina at Shelter Cove and an easy walk or bike ride into Palmetto Dunes. My family is extremely laid back and we like quiet time/ relaxation. We were aware of this prior to our arrival, but did consider once we were there that actually the resort did lack these facilities.

The rooms are great and the facility is very well maintained. I highly recommend participating in some of the daily activities that they host

Room we are in is pleasurable, however, its a bit of a far walk for someone who has poor endurance and fair ambulatory skills. My son was using his remote control car and one employee told him he wasnt allowed to play with it, another employee told him to use the basketball or tennis courts and another employee told him he could use his car on the sidewalk, so long as he wasnt near cars or guests. The beds are extremely comfortable and so is the sofa. At this point, we are having a very enjoyable time.

Great location, a 5 minute walk to the Marina, shops and restaurants of Shelter Cove. Great views of Broad Creek. Beach access pass for the Narriott beach across 278 in Palmetto Dunes. Resort has plenty of activities for all ages, most free or small fee for craft materials.

The facility is nice and the activities are fun and age appropriate for the kids. Rooms are large (2 bedroom villas) with kitchen areas. Facility is very close to the beach.

Wheelchair accessible, great Riverside property..clean bathrooms, friendly staff.. reasonable prices before the peak season..some parts of the island were breath taking ..some of the rooms have full Kitchens , so if you are traveling with a full size FAMILY its a plus.. however , make sure you ask all questions before arriving people tend not to and then get stuck in a room they didnt want..

We loved our getaway

Perfect condo for us girls. The new carpet smell was quite strong. The staff here is absolutely amazing. The luggage carts are huge and plentiful and allow for few trips to get all of your groceries or luggage into your room. For the price, we felt this property was an outstanding value.

Enjoyable visit with the extended family. Clean and comfortable property, great facilities, amenities, and scheduled events. Convenient location with plenty nearby and shuttle service to the beach.

Staff was wonderful, grounds were well kept, lovely view of the river with perfect spot for watching the fireworks. Our room was sorely in need of updating and the first time Ive stayed at a Marriott where the second bedroom had two twin beds. I specifically booked a room for two couples. Not wanting to let our guests know of our displeasure, we took the second bedroom and sucked it up. Wont return until the next scheduled update is completed.

The resort is very clean and quiet. There is no direct access to the beach from the resort as the beach is about 1km away and across the highway. However, they do include free parking near the beach. The area is very nice and the service is excellent. I asked for Allen keys for a quick bike fix, which they quickly provided. Also the events are fun. For example, the yogurt breakfast is really good. Furthermore, the hotel isnt pushy at all for selling you timeshare packages.
