Dog run was great. The People who visited that day were very nice. My Dog made new friends. There are bowls for the dogs to drink and chairs for People to sit. I have never seen a dog park like it. The bathrooms are clean and its so very serene. Love this park...

Its a great park. The dog parks are separated into large and small dogs. The park is clean and well kept. The dog areas have chairs and is also well kept.

I love bringing my dog, Venus to the dog park. Today was a great day because there were over 30 dogs here, in both the large and small dogs area. She had a choice of dogs to mingle and play with.(like theyre humans who meet and mingle..)

Fenced dog park. One for littles and one for bigs. Chairs, shade and bowls of water availanle. Park has kids play areas, pavilion, basketball & volleyball courts and football/soccer field. And, a nature walk.

Nice, large park. People are always around when the weather is nice with large groups playing baseball, cricket, or volleyball. Dog park is fine. Large enough but not maintained real well. They rely on the community to take care of it. They refill bags and provide chairs which is nice.

Great spot to hang out with your dog and let him hang out with his doggo friends. Nicely maintained dog play areas with chairs for the hoomans to sitting socialize with the other owners. The park is really well maintained and equipped. Softball field, tennis courts, picnic areas and restrooms are also available.

We have been coming her for about 2 years. Great experience each time. My dog loves it here. Always making friends. Well maintained and usually one of the ladies that help maintain it is there .There is a section for smaller dogs and a section for biggee dogs. I recommend this park for our fur babies any day!

I love going to the dog park here! Theres two areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Theres a good number of people who show up everyday and everyone Ive met so far has been really friendly! They have chairs and water bowls but theres no water supply nearby so bring some with you.

Lingle Park & Kohl Memorial Park are side by side.Kohl is lower on the hill and has a great dog park. It also has tennis & basketball courts. It is accessed via Dowhower Road.Lingle is a playground and soccer fields. It is directly behind the school.

Highly recommended if you have a child with a lot of energy! There are two playgrounds! They are clean, well maintained. My 2 year old had a blast!

Very beautiful park. Lots of space to run. While i was there i got to watch a game of soccer being played. They have 2 soccer fields here, a baseball field plus playground.

I like how the park has lawn chairs available for the dog parents. There does tend to be more dogs in the big dog side than the little. However me and my dog both enjoy the park.

Love this park, always nice and people are courteous. Dog parks are maintained and for the most part, owners keep a good eye on their pups to keep any issues to a minimum.

We keep bringing our puppy to the Happy Tails Dog Park here. Theres a small dogs side and a large dogs side. The people are very nice, and bring water and bags to leave for all dogs.

As others have said, one of the few public dog parks in the Harrisburg area. My wife and I regularly bring our dog here to play. There is a great community of regulars that are frequently there. People are very welcoming and courteous.There are also a couple volleyball courts, softball fields, soccer fields, and two playgrounds.I have seen that there are a few hiking trails around the park too, but I havent ever spent any time on them.

Took my dog to the park for the first time here, and it was an overall pleasant experience. There wasnt trash everywhere and everyone was picking up after their dogs.

Dont take your purse unless you carry it with you. If you leave it in the car, your car will be broken into and your purse stollen. Otherwise dog park is excellent. Have not utilized other areas.

Great Dog park!

I had initially written a glowing review of this dog park and how friendly all the people and dogs were but I now wish I had never brought my dogs here. My dogs are kept very clean year round. They are bathed and groomed monthly plus they are on the best flea medicine - K9 Advantix II, administered every 3 weeks. My dogs are aged 2, 10, and 11 and they have NEVER had fleas. When we visited this dog park, I assumed it was being treated for fleas and ticks but it is not! All my dogs became infested with fleas after visiting this park only twice! I had to have them bathed again and again with flea killing shampoo and had to administer more of their flea medicine than normal which was not cheap. We even had to bomb our house to kill off all the fleas. I have never experienced anything like this and felt so bad for my dogs who scratched endlessly for 2 months because thats how long it took to be rid of the infestation. I will NEVER bring my clean and healthy dogs back to this disgustingly filthy park.

We enjoy the door park here, but please be careful. My puppy was attacked by a Malamute while I had my back turned picking up her poop and the other owners fled before I even knew what happened. People should bit bring dogs that bite! Otherwise, great park!

Awesome place! Everyone is so friendly. Most dog park people frown when they see a pit bull coming.. They get such a bad rap. I took him in and everyone was so welcoming. Raider loved it and played awesome. Im gonna take him back today!!!

Had to pick up my Son there and I was surprised how nice this community park is kept! They have public bathroom that are so clean, the grass and grounds were impeccable! The equipment is maintained and well kept. This is the first park I have ever been to that has been kept this nice!! And I usually could care less, because people do not have respect in our society anymore for other peoples property or some even their own! Just wanted to share if you arent into taking your little ones to a park filled with litter, graffiti, and broken playground equipment this is the place to take them! Or if you are interested in playing a 3 on 3 basketball they have nice courts there as well.

Today was my first and last visit to Kohl Park. I brought my dog to the park for a walk. The nature trail was overgrown and full of discarded bottles and trash. Obviously people use the woods along the nature trail for activities other than enjoying nature. We walked a few yards along the trail but it was so bad we turned around and came back. I did not see any other walking trails. The Dog parks were basically dirt surrounded by a rusting fence. No dogs were using the facility while I was there. However, there were 2 dogs with their owners playing unleashed on the ball field. Can’t say I blame them. At least the ball field had some grass for the dogs to play on along. I did not look at the children’s play area very closely but what I saw looked ok. There are much nicer parks in the township. I will not be returning to this dump.

One of the few public dog parks in the area. As others have noted, the dog area is divided into large and small dog sections, and there are separate entrances for each side. After your dogs finished running with his/her friends, there are a few nearby trails to enjoy as well.Overall, there is a friendly community vibe amongst the dog owners who frequent the park, and theyve been more than welcoming each time Ive been.

We recently moved here and were looking for a new dog park to take our 1 year old large dog to. This dog park is decently sized and has two sections for large and small dogs (I believe under 30 lbs). There are double gates. The dog park enclosures are a little bit of a walk from the parking lot, which is a pain if you have a very excited dog on the leash. We also encountered two people who were not walking their dogs on leashes which can be problematic. There is no water source at the park and the 10+ bowls that were there were tipped over and filthy, so I’d recommend bringing your own water and bowl. Also, at least when we were there, there were only 3 benches and 2 lawn chairs to sit in: be prepared to stand if there are a lot of people there!The rest of the park seemed well maintained and spacious.

The dog park here is great. There is a large dog area and a small dog area. It can get muddy, though, so just be prepared to bring home a dirty pup if its rained or snowed recently. All the people and dogs Ive met so far have been extremely friendly.

Love this playground. It has a upper and lower playground that is beyond a path and has a doggie playground. It is separated by big dog and little dog. So much room at this park that you can play some sports here too.

We come to the dog park often, mostly due to location. There are some regular visitors who are a joy to spent time with, but overall the park is not well monitored and sometimes people with aggressive or poorly socialized dogs will come in. There is a small trail that my dog and I have enjoyed walking for years. However lately it has become overgrown to the point where we cant walk on it anymore. Its historically been cared for by a local boy scout troop, I hope theyll do be back to update it soon !

Dog park is a wonderful convenience, there are small and big dog fenced off sections. Been there many times and have found that numerous free parking spots are available on all but the busiest day. Some seating and baggies are available.

Izzys first time at the park went well. The other dogs that were there welcomed her. She was a bit shy, but I think she will get over that with more visits.

Great dog park there called Happy Tails. If youre looking for a local dog park, check it out. I dont use the other amenities the park has.
