This is the best place in Harrisburg to relax, clear your mind, and enjoy the Susquehanna River. The trees are beautiful. The river walk is perfect for walking, running, or biking. If you like to fish, there is ample room for wetting a line. Relax, renew, and cast your cares upon the river.

Nice place to walk, and walk the dog. Has a walking and bicycle bridge over to city island that has mini golf, small restaurant, a working riverboat, public boat launch. Riverfront park is currently repairing the lower walk at the river. Walk is 12ft wide and concrete. Grass and asphalt walks on the upper part. Runs along the river for miles.

Great place for walking or running in the mornings. Provides good opportunities for scenic photos. Safe.

You can take a walk over the river if you like to. Or just enjoy the sites from this side of view. Overall plenty of action.

Nice venue. Comfortably holds about 3000 people. Venders were nice. Food moderately priced. Stage could be seen from most of the venue. Alcohol and drink sections were a little confusing. Parking on the island or in the city. Police presence noticable but not over bearing.

I enjoyed the box seats. It was cold and rainy so it provided an excellent way to be comfortable, have a complete buffet and see the game.

Although it was hot the time I spent it there today was worth dealing with the heat and if you want to get away from the heat City island has placed with food and drinks and cool places to sit out of the heat

I love river front park. I always meet friendly people, see gophers or groundhogs or whatever the hell they are and geese. I recommend taking a walk along the river with someone as the sun sets. You wont regret it.

You could barely move because of all of the animal droppings but would be a pretty stroll otherwise.

Nice day. Was with a friend I had not seen in awhile. He showed me things I never was aware about. I always went to all the events, fireworks, art fest and more. I spent a huge amount of time here.Nice place to go to walk, talk, and also it relaxes you to see things you might have never noticed. I had a great time walking riverfront and then we had to head back to the car. We then walked up 2nd street. Took pictures. We started about 1pm. We made our way on riverfront. It was a long walk. Proceeded up 2nd Street around 4:30pm. We went a few other places just meanduring.Riverfront has its magical ways. It gave us a great day together. I will never forget it.

Harrisburg is a fun city to live in and visit.

Love the accessibility to one of Harrisburgs nicest features, the Susquehanna River. Its the best place to catch the fireworks, watch the sun set, or look at the ice flow in the winter. Its unfortunate that people arent more respectful of the park. I have found a used needle and had a bad experience stepping on a piece of glass. Still a nice place to visit, but you definitely need to be situationally aware.
