At 1,221 feet elevation I enjoy contacting amateur radio enthusiasts through some of the repeaters around me. At that elevation , I can get out pretty far just a couple miles short of 35 miles. Also, I am working on identifying and accessing some voip digital repeaters which can get far further than I ever imagined like near Palermo, Sicily where my parents came from.

Secluded park with a somewhat overgrown trail in the first 100 meters but still very easy to follow. It’s pretty flat and connects to the power lines with some very nice views. If you keep walking the trails merge into the tree reserve.

Convenient hiking trail to walk our labrador puppy and get some great exercise.Beware, hunting is permitted in this park, so wear appropriate blaze orange clothing.

Great for a nature walk. Walk along Blue Mt. ridge. Trail is all natural not paved, with minimal maintenance.

Nice little secret gem on top of a mountain, not alot there but nature and trails and that is the point! If you keep heading down or west towards the Susquehanna river you will eventually run into Boyds big tree nature preserve.

Very woodsy trail. Saw four deer including a fawn. Picnic area in front and an even a more secluded one as you walk on trail.
