A lovely, historic venue. Highly underrated.

Great little gallery. Entrance is FREE, why not go??? Lots of variety. Nicely curated.

Its great to have a local Art Center although I have to say some of their taste and exhibiting certain pieces of art leaved me scratching my head. A couple examples are photos of a store Shadow and blue sky, or just simple animal sketches.

Delightful place, I got to go with artists and enjoy the reception.

The gallery exhibits are free and WONDERFUL. Really worth a visit every couple od months at least. They have an Arts League (lovely encouraging people who get together to promote continued learning and creativity, and to socialize) with Tuesday morning paint sessions and a Watercolor Society that meets Sunday afternoons. And, loads of great classes with in depth instruction for kids or adults. I would do more of them if I could!! 5-star place!! (Maybe limited handicapped access in the older building though.)

Very nice art space!

Very nice gallery/museum with an old fashioned, quirky layout. Its in (I just discovered) the old public library building and is, still, quiet and is also kept up very well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, artwork is nicely displayed, they have a lot classes and offerings available to members and non-members alike. Ill be returning.

The Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center is conveniently located in the heart of Hampton Roads, the staff is friendly and knowledgable, and the facility has a wonderful history and charm. Support the arts in Virginia and visit often to see all of the exhibitions presented throughout the year.

Best art center on the peninsula with juried and invitational exhibitions in all media throughout the year. Exceptional instructors. An art center for all ....young and old, beginners to advanced. Hats off to the staff and the volunteers.

One of the historical place in the area, people who manage the place are knowledgeable enough to entertain questions..
