They have beautiful art work.

I love this gallery! Its small but cute. They have paintings from all sorts of local artists which makes for a variety of painting styles. Its not just the paintings either. Theres also other art pieces by the artists that are sometimes displayed. You can also find unique nik-naks not found anywhere else. Like my sister and I saw some organic soaps, chapsticks, jewelry, clothing ect. Everything is kinda organized by artist and their work. So one area will have some work by the artist and on the side youll find a little back story on the artist themselves. The owner of the store is very nice and if you go at the right time, you might be able to meet the artist in person! This gallery is free and it does allow you to buy paintings. And dpending on the artist you may even be allowed to take pictures of your favorite art piece, just make sure you ask the store owner first. This gallery really is like a little gem and I cant wait to go back!I included some pictures of the art piece I liked and the description of the artist the art is by. (Not sure if I could have taken a picture of the whole gallery)

Wonderful art and sweet people. We did the acrylic pour night, my two teenagers and I, and it was fun, relaxing, and welcoming, as well as an amazing learning opportunity for my non-artistic boys to feel more comfortable with art concepts.

Ive been a member artist for 25 years! It is so hard to work there because with all of the beautiful jewelry, fabric art, ceramics and stained glass, I spend as much as I make.

Still a wonderful experience, but I know that there are amazing artists who are no longer represented here.Its a tough business.

I called Blue Skies Gallery (twice) because they now sell Flax and I wanted to inquire as to if they had several items that I wanted to purchase, the owner was very rude and rushed me off the phone. However, she didnt know that I was a prospective customer and an avid lover of flax/linen. I do most of my purchases of Flax/Linen at on line boutiques and I thought that because she was local, I would do business with her - well she just loss a great prospective customer who lives in Flax! If you are looking for good customer service, dont go to Blue Skies Gallery - you wont receive it there, take your money and spend it where you are appreciated!Elaine, Hampton, VA

This is by far one of the most diverse and pleasant galleries I have ever been to! I am both a customer and contributing artist at this gallery and believe the quality of the goods and service offered is fantastic.

Im not an art person but the place has a lot for someone that enjoys different textures and techniques
