Very clean and inviting atmosphere. We arrived right when they opened for the tasting. Nice selection of wines. The cheese board we ordered was extremely overpriced but it seems like this is the standard at most wineries we have visited recently. Employees very friendly and knowledgeable.

I got married here in October 2019. My experience with Tomasello from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. I never felt ignored, I was 99% of the time told yes and everyone I interacted with was SO SO nice, even if I was anxious or babbling. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for me and my family for our wedding. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing, my guests commented on how well the bar staff handled the guest demand for alcohol and drinks, and the venue itself is just so freaking gorgeous!!! When I think back on that day, I cant think of a single thing that went wrong. I felt truly cared about and my wedding day was amazing.

I made a reservation here for my birthday weekend and it was amazing! The servers were pleasant and the wine was amazing. We did the traditional tasting for 6 people and it cost us $50 which was such a good deal. Were definitely coming back soon

Wine was good but we did not really know what to do. We were just given a list and no explanation. But after a few questions they explained. Felt like one lady was a little rude because we were asking what to do.

Our daughter and son in law had thier wedding here 6 years ago this month. It was beautiful. The food was delicious. The wait staff were really good. My only complaint was a ton of food was either thrown out or given away to the wait staff. Mostly the dinner and appetizers. I know desserts were packaged up and given out to guests. Our daughter didnt receive any take home left overs and we didnt either. Also our daughter had made these while tissue paper balls to hang were the service was held and they disappeared. The wine was amazing. Just a few hiccups. Otherwise it was perfect.

Was my first time visiting this winery and sampling the wines and they really didnt review anything on how we should pick or what to do and when i asked 1 of the staff members was rude in answering my questions. Wine was good but experience was terrible I will not be coming back or recommending this place to any of my friends.

We had our daughters wedding here. The food, the staff, the vendors they recommended were all first rate. The food kept coming and we had many relatives say it was the best food ever at a wedding. They took such great care of us. I am running out of room to rave about them.

Tomasellos winery is hands down the best venue to have a wedding. From the moment we arrived on Sunday for our wedding the staff was amazing. Dana and Lisa were wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end, and Dana was with us from start the finish. Everything was beautiful the outside pergola, the cocktail hour and the reception. My guest are still calling me to let me know how amazing the food was and the courteous and fun staff. They made my wedding day perfect I cant thank them enough!!

We had a great time! We went for my daughters birthday. She told us about a groupon that we used. There was 4 of us. The server/bartender was wonderful! I would go back again

I ordered this gift Monday night to get to my mom, who lives in North Jersey, in time for her birthday. It arrived Wednesday morning (in a day)! Shipping wasnt outrageous, and they had a sale on fruity wines--my moms favorite is blueberry, and shes had this bottle before and loved it. Plus, I was very pleased with the presentation. I included a celebration note, which was generously printed out and included. Ive seen some nightmare gift tags before... This, gladly, wasnt one of them. Mom was happy = Im happy.

I have been to Tomasellos twice now and both times I have not enjoyed myself. The winery is a good beginner winery for those just starting into wines. Unfortunately the wines are mediocre and not complex. The ice wine is more of a sweet white and not a true ice wine. The experience would have been more pleasurable if the server was more polite and talkative. Their was an older couple served in front of us and she was pleasant with them, but as soon as we went to be served her attitude changed. I will not be going back and I do not reccomend going to this winery for a tasting if youre looking for a full bodied wine and a relaxing atmosphere do not go here.

Lovely wedding venue, very professional, great food! (now for an update!that was before the wedding) Now can I do TEN stars? We had a wonderful wedding day for our daughter at Tomassello Winery. EVERYTHING went so well. It turned out to be a hot but perfect day. The food was amazing, the service was great, the venue was comfortable, beautiful and elegant and the value for what was paid was excellent. Cannot recommend this team (thanks Lisa and Donna and everyone) or the venue more highly. It was a carefree day and we had so much fun with the guests.

One of my favorite wines. I love the stores in Smithville. The main Winery is nice on the inside but not so much on the outside they should upgrade outside.

We love Tomasello wines. They also make a very tasty pineapple cider brew. Our favorite wine is the peach. It’s out of this world.

Stopped in at other locations but main location was most informative with very helpful staff. They showed us that mixing certain wines makes and even tasty wine, like the almond and cranberry.

Outstanding venue for every type of event. Food and service are top notch, banquet room room is excellent, plenty of parking and location was very easy to get to. I recommend that you try this place for your next event you won’t want to go anywhere else after having your event at Tomasello‘s

Just went for a wine tasting using a Groupon and so glad I decided to purchase the voucher. Place was beautiful and nice place for a wedding reception. Would go back to get more wine as the experience and the quality of wine was superb. If you subscribe, you get 20% off! Server was very helpful.

Went to abma’s farm today with family and friends so we go to the tasting room so we can make our friends from Texas try the wine , there was was a line so we waited we where told that we needed reservation to taste wine, unhappy by the way we where treated not how it was in the past was ready to renew my membership plus purchase my favorite wines we left, so I will not be renewing my membership or buying the wine anymore sorry to say you lost a good customer, there’s other winery’s in New Jersey.

I attended a wedding party but don’t feel welcome as the beginning. None of the worker smile to me and seems like why bothering her. Even though the banquet manager too.The power suddenly off during the wedding ceremony because somebody unplugged the power. The DJ was very angry but the manager still standing there and did nothing... The result is the bridal party walking in without music... so embarrassing!I will NOT recommended this place to my friend .

I went here earlier in 2018 and enjoyed myself, I recall enjoying the wine and even bought a bottle. However when I opened it, it had gone bad which isn’t incredibly rare when buying from wineries. I have been to over 100 wineries and have always been made whole with either a replacement bottle or a cash/check refund and on one occasion both! However when I contacted tomasello they refused to send me a replacement bottle due to me being in Delaware (even though on multiple occasions I have been shipped wine). I informed them I live over an hour away and am rarely if ever in the area. However they did not care and sent me a gift card which is essentially useless since I don’t plan on returning to the area anytime soon. I am giving 1 star due to the lack of customer service and for the first time ever I bought a bottle of wine that was bad and wasn’t refunded or given a replacement. I would not recommend coming here and if ever asked I will advise not to come.Update: had the almonique wine and it really added to our evening with friends. For this reason I will update the review to 3 stars despite my above issue

Elegant, spacious, for a small event. There were fruit flies trying to land in the drinks and the ladies room smelled terrible. With a little housekeeping, it would be 5 out of 5.

I have attended four banquets at this location. The food is delicious, and the kitchen staff will accommodate dietary restrictions. The staff in the wine tasting area are very knowledgeable and helpful also.

$5 wine tasting fee gets you 2 glasses and 5 tastes. But you can bring your glasses back for free tasting at another time! Wines are good. Enjoyed the tasting.

My girlfriends and I had a great time here. Gary was helping us and he was very helpful and insightful. I would definitely go again. Too bad Gary is retiring, would love to have him help us again. I will be back again.

Have gone on a few wine tastings through Living Social and were introduced to the entire Tomasello portfolio of wines. My wife and I regularly order cases and enjoy the variety that the Tomasello family has to offer.Weve also gone for their Mothers day brunch and found it to be well done and great food.

Went in for a tasting the other day and the place is very pretty. But I didnt like the tasting. Not a fan of Wineries that have 50 wines because I feel like they have given up making great wines and decided to make whatever they feel like. Just to try all of the wines I would have to go back 10 times.

Says open till 6 but the tasting room actually closes at 5:30. Found out by coming in with a bottle of spumante last Friday at 5:32 to enjoy. Not only does the tasting room shut down; the customer service does as well.

OUTSTANDING Service and the most pleasant staff to work with. We had our May 4th wedding at Tomasello and our entire wedding experience with them was wonderful. The setting is quaint and intimate and the vineyards are pretty but what sold us on this venue for our wedding was the food, service, and staff. And all at a very reasonable price! We did not have a single complaint from our guests about the food. And the staff were so personable and helpful. I am so glad we had the chance to get married here!

We stopped by for a tasting on our way back from the shore and - wow - how this place has grown since we were married here in 2004. The tasting room is beautiful and the staff was amazingly helpful as we waded through the list of 40 +/- wines to try. You can indulge in a truffle or try a cheese plate with your tasting for just a few dollars extra. Be sure to walk around back and take in the vineyards. Well worth the 8 minute drive off the Hammonton exit of the AC Expressway.

Attended an event at the winery and had a fabulous time. The owner even came up to my assistant and I to talk about the wine we were tasting. The staff was great and very professional. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

2 stars for the presentation of a tasting , the wine was great but service for a tasting wasnt good , felt more like they were making sure we didnt get more then the 5 tastings and the boss lady was micromanaging our tasting server the whole time correcting everything . makes the environment awkward when they dont even know whats going on .

Tomasello winery makes over 40 types of wine. They have something for everyone, but you are limited to tasting 5 wines per visit (I guess to prevent driving while intoxicated), so it helps if you already have some idea of what you are looking for going in. The staff is helpful in this regard as well. Not my favorite South Jersey winery, but there are good wines to be had here.

Tried them at a wine festival and really enjoyed some of the wines. Ordered 3 bottles online, one of which I did not like and questioned whether it was good. Wrote the company and received some of the most unprofessional responses. Really unfortunate because based on their rudeness I would never recommend them, nor will I ever purchase again.

I go for the Opera Galas, usually 4 times a year. Good food, good wine, good performances at a reasonable price.

My daughters bridal shower was held here on April 6, 2014 and everything was great! We could not have asked for more. The food, the wine, and the service was all perfect. If we asked for something, it was there immediately. Besides being delicious, the hot food was hot and the cool food was cool. Their Cranberry Moscato was the perfect drink for this affair! The Blueberry is also good. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They made sure my daughters day was perfect. Thank you Lisa M., Chris, and all the other wonderful staff at Tomasellos. I am almost 60 years old and this is the first time I have ever written a review. Great job guys, you are Special!

We attended the Holiday Opera Gala at Tomasello Winery in Hammonton on Sunday. This is our third year and each year the music has been beautiful and the dinner delicious! Its a very enjoyable event!

My daughter and her new husband were recently married at Tomasello Winery in a vineyard wedding. It was truly wonderful event. The vineyard, as a backdrop, was a beautiful setting. The banquet room, with the crystal chandeliers and sconces, was so elegant. The food, drinks, and wine, of course, were delightful. Most importantly, was the kindness and professionalism that was shown to us by the Tomasello family and their event planner, Stephanie Rizzo. They made us feel like family, and were always available to answer all our questions. Charles and Lisa Tomasello gave us wonderful suggestions for vendors to contact, including musicians, bakeries, DJs, bridal salons, and much more. The vendors were all top notch.I cant say enough great things about the experience that we had planning our daughters wedding at Tomasello Winery. They had a wedding going on so they asked me and my finance to move out the way for pictures the entire time we were there without even apologizing, the groom actually apologized. The guy servicing us acted as if we were bothering him by being there. Not a good experience.

The good and the bad! Wine was good but service and experience was poor and awkward. Servers were more worried about how many samples we had than if we enjoyed it.

Tomasello was a stop on our four stop trolly tour. When the trolly pulled up to the winery, I thought it was a funeral home. However looks can be deceiving! Our group of 32 people went in and were greated by a very nice gentleman who i believed to be and owner. There were tables set up with the different wines broken up into different categories which was very helpful! We were able to walk up and try whatever we wanted instead of being in an assembly like, which seems to be the normal set up in wine tastings. There was also a very large chocolate fountain, which seemed to be a group favorite. For a person that is not very educated in wines (like myself) this winery did a great job in not making me feel like an idiot! This was by far my favorite winery on the tour thanks to the excellent set up, friendly, and well-dressed staff. This winery also had the best variety of wines by a long shot!!!

Dishonest business practices! We were originally told that a tasting was $5, but when I offered to pay for my family of 5, the price was DOUBLED to $10 because we were a large group. Dont waste your time here for sub-par wine and bad business practices.

The Lambertville store one of staff members treated my husband and I like we were people who shouldnt be in their store. Im a wine member. Nothing but good experience in mail winery, but that Lambertville store dont like waiting on minorities. Sales person Sam very unfriendly seemed like he was afraid to wait on us.
