Honestly wouldve loved to leave a good review but with the store manager over at Dyer being so stubborn and an employee as well, I wouldnt recommend this place at all. Bought over $3000 worth of fireworks and asked if I could get some small ones for free for the kids, the only thing the store manager managed to say is I dont have any deals for you No means a simply NO!. If you want to get your moneys worth of fireworks, I would recommend Red Apple, I couldve gotten triple the amount as this place plus some free fireworks. This place just lost a regular customer that spends thousands every 4th of July and New Years Eve. Hit up Red Apple and order 2 weeks before to get the best deals, plus they deliver.

Yikes! This place is a pyromaniacs dream. There are Central American drug cartels with smaller arms caches than this places. Its cavernous warehouse has more things to light up and go boom than you can explode in one lifetime. If you hate your fingers and want them off your body, I can think of no better place to go. The staff was very helpful and indulging of all our questions. They can describe the effects of every item in the place and can reccomend the perfect contraband for you as you cross state lines.

They have good prices on fireworks just alittle crowed the day before the 4th of july but i bet that is normal

It was very chaotic. The place was a disaster. There were way too many people in there at once. The line was wrapped around the building to purchase anything.

This is one of the popup shops that come out during 4th of July season, and it has a great selection, along with great prices available for those looking to show their appreciation for out great country by blowing some things up and making a lot of noise at the same time. I live in Chicago, so it is a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it, and a good spot to visit

For all the people who complained about the bogo free pricing it’s really not a “trick or scam” in their reviews, if you can actually do math then you’ll know what you’re buying and how much it’ll cost. I thought we got a great deal compared to what we usually get in South Carolina (we’re from VA). We fired up all the stuff we bought and had a blast.

First time Ive been to this chain. I just didnt like it. I thought phantom fireworks has way better choices. Layout of the building really sucked. The items they had bundled together I didnt really like either. Seemed like you would pay a lot for the bundle and half the stuff was stupid. Seemed like a swap meet. Not a professional store. Thats actually surprising since the billboards all over look legit. I wont be going back here. Ill only be going to phantom from here out.

Everything at kaplans is buy 1 get 1.(cakes 2) Which makes the prices that seem a little high which are indeed, not bad when u mix and match anything at that price. The selection huge as they say. I went for power thrusters and rockets which they had many kinds all buy 1 get 1(I found extra missiles in a box of rockets). Im satisfied with my purchase.

I was so overwhelmed when i walked in that store. First time there and probably the last. Not because of the store mostly because i dont buy fireworks. Every where i turn i was trying to figure out what this does and what that does. I was all discombobulated. Yes i asked a worker very general answer. Found my way to the cashier who was friendly and a little more help ful in explaining what i got. Overall the store was insane.

Variety, quantity, and store space is huge! Its like Home Depot for fireworks... firecrackers isle 7 bottle rockets isle 10. Pretty much everything is BOGO and feels like prices seem fair for the amount you get.

Staff was very helpful in aiding me towards what I thought I was looking for to keep my 4, yr old happy without scaring the hell out of him. Explained what different things were and showed me where they were at. NOT PUSHY IN ANY WAY!!! VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY STAFF!!!Will be a repeat customerONLY DOWNSIDE I FOUND...... couldnt buy just one of an item for lower rate (wanted 1case of sparklers, price $20 for 3 cases)

Found some bargains on fireworks, off season

Mostly DUDS! OVERPRICED! We have a big celebration for the 4th every year and a lot of us all chip in, so were able to purchase fireworks for everyone to enjoy. Usually we spend around $700 and we have alot to enjoy. This year we spent a little more than $1000. Alot of the larger ones were duds. Its very disappointing, they are the most beautiful and expensive, these are the ones we save for last, everyone waits and anticipates them. When you spend $100 for 6 or 8 big ones and only 4 actually work, the rest just fly up and pop with no action its very upsetting. Needless to say were never going here again. I dont know if they are selling old stuff or its defective goods but its really heartbreaking because those are SO expensive. I think this is why they do a buy one get one free, only half will work, if you get lucky. Dont waste your money on duds! Go somewhere else.

A huge variety of fireworks! My Only recommendation if youre new to fireworks dont buy those packaged fireworks with the little cone shaped lights on the packaging. Theyre useless little mini sparklers. Spend your money on actual fireworks, I found one called Zeus which is an actual huge firework. Its just like those youll see at the park those really big ones. Now just dont expect to just light it up once and be done, no you have to insert each firework into the tube, light it up and bang Zeus lights up the sky! Just a note to self if its in a tube ITS GONNA BE HUGE!Oh yeah and another thing look for those boxes that are usually buy one get 1 free, now those are the ones that you light up once and bang bang bang there was one that had the image of the video game battlefield on it but man oh man they were worth it.
