First time stopping by since the new store opened. Huge store great layout. Prices went up a bit. Only grabbed a few times since we were just stopping by. Items not bagged just scanned and them another helper just tossed in cart busting a few things open. Used to love it but might have gotten to big. Will stop back again and give it another go. Still greeted nice and hard to beat service with a smile.

I felt like a kid in a candy store in this place! They have a copious selection of inventory and 4 for 1 mix and match items were really good. The store was clean and well staffed. There are large TV screens throughout the store that show you examples of fireworks for that respective department. Plenty of shopping carts and empty cardboard boxes for customer use.Today, July 3rd, the place was a madhouse. Lots of shoppers. The staff had checkout lines under good control.It was worth the trip from DuPage Co, Illinois. I will be back!

Someone recommended me this place because of the great experience they had, but unfortunately that was not the case! Literally walked into a store where they encourage you to buy at least something regardless if you’re just “looking around”! I shouldn’t feel forced to buy anything if I don’t agree with the prices you guys offer at this store, WAAAAY TOO EXPENSIVE! The gimmick you guys offer “4 for 1” is nothing more than marketing tactic to think you’re getting a deal where you’re basically paying even close to retail. I won’t be returning to give my business to an establishment that chooses when to be nice to a customer, just because I walk out for not buying one single item, NEVER AGAIN!

Great experience here today. Good selection, good pricing. Large showroom with plenty of shopping space. Friendly staff helped make checkout quick and painless. Great job!

The staff here was very friendly and willing to help, was asked numerous employees if I needed something. I stopped first at Dynamite and that place was so cramped and over priced, then headed towards Phantom but their line was out the door, so I ended up here. New building, solid inventory, and the prices were better than any I had seen in Indiana.

Way tlo pricey! Plus the sales seem like a scam to pay more and draw you in! Good fireworks tho enjoyed lighting them off!

Really over priced. They say 4 for 1 but only on the small items. The finalle cakes are super over priced. Competition has some listed for 101 and they have it listed for 150. Cool layout of the store and huge selection but not a place to go if you want bang for your buck

This place has a great selection of fireworks, and the assortments are good too. Prices are good since I only spent $200 but I sure filled my two carts up with it.

Yea I definitely recommend big daddy k’s better prices the staff are nicer and when I was 18 and one of the staff yelled at me because I was touching the fireworks and he thought I wasn’t 18 and he asked me for my ID and I didn’t have my wallet it wasn’t like u was buying things and helping my dad pick stuff out so sorry for trying to buy your fireworks and why do u have to be 18 to touch fireworks I understand if I was buying them without my ID I could understand but my dad had my cash already so there was no problem

This is my first year buy all the fireworks for the family 4th July bbq and my first time in Johnny Rockets was amazing. I got things I didn’t intend on getting and my whole block loved the display I put on. I will be back every other month to get things for next year’s family bbq

Well they are way over priced!!!!I wish they would of let me return but they said no returns. 4 for 125 lmao I went down the street and found the same box for 25 a piece.Two of the boxes I bought did not even go off. One of em went off half way and died out which was very dangerous. Everything in that store was over priced and absolutely no deal like other places. People so desperate for some over priced fireworks, it’s a shame they don’t know what they buying.The owner is literally an ahole, ignorant thinks he knows it all lmao. 500 grams cakes 4/125 lmao was a joke. Cheap fireworks,high priced for non name brand. They just slapped a logo or design on the box. Wholesale price on the 500 grams cakes I seen were less than $20 a box and I bought 4 and was charged $130 + taxPeople do your research before you go into these stores.

Came here yesterday im from chicago 1 hour away tried so many stores but the other stores in indiana did not have good deals like krazy klapan big daddys K and their items look old or the prices were a little high. After trying so many stores in indiana i tried this store and The outside looks great once you see inside is amazing a lot of great choices and a lot of space to walk by far the best place that has good deal. Will i come back absolutely my number #1stop for fireworks.Also on the big fireworks they have tvs to display how the fireworks look.

Fraudulent Negative Reviews are against the Google Terms Of Service. The review left below does not appear to be by an actual customer that visited this store.I find it VERY odd that the review left by Lilboypeep3 is so very negative. I also find it odd that the ONLY other review left by Lilboypeep3 is about Big Daddy Ks Fireworks...which happens to be right down the street. I also find it VERY odd that the reference Big Daddy Ks in their negative review, which is in violation of Googles Review Policy.I am curious to know the date that Lilboypeep3 had this experience at Johnny Rockets Fireworks. I am sure they would be able to check the security cameras and reprimand that employee for poor customer service.I wonder if Big Daddy Ks understands that leaving libel/and false reviews that can/will impact business of any kind is punishable not only by local and State, but Federal as well. Judgement of up to 14.5 Million Dollars of a single infraction have been awarded in just the past 9 days.Violation of this policy could very well lead to the offending party to have their own Google Business Listing removed from Maps and Google My Business. I would encourage Johnny Rockets to pursue this issue to the fullest extent of the policy and the law.

Store was nice and organized, things were easy to find and pricing was great. I’ve been going to phantom up the street and the service and pricing here was by far a lot better in all aspects. The employees really go above and beyond to help you, Brandon is who helped me and my buddy. He told us what his personal favorites were and lead us in the right direction of products we were looking at and told us we wouldn’t be disappointed in the products. He was very helpful, he even came out all the way to the car and helped load everything in it. Great customer service and great place. Will definitely be coming back here and will be recommending anyone I know to come here!

Big daddy k fireworks in the same plaza has by far better pricing. Don’t believe me? Check them out they’re literally in the same plaza. Perfect example was the diablo canister. Johnny has them for $125 and big daddy had them for $75

I have always been going to Big Daddy K’s, driving right passed Johnny Rockets for 10 years. This year decided to stop in Johnny Rockets, man are their prices cheaper. The selection is way better for everything from cakes to mortars. I can’t believe I’ve been getting scammed at Big Daddy K’s for 10 years! Johnny Rockets is the spot!!!

Where to start.... this time was my first time in the store. As soon as I walked in there’s about 3 10 year old kids running around in oversized Johnny rocket t shirts I’m assuming they where either one of the employees or owners kids while the “adults” where all sitting in the registers chatting. I was looking for the excals since I get them every year and there was no sign marking the price so I had to ask one of the kids and he didn’t know either so he had to go around and ask the other kids and the people at the register. All in all this process took over 5 minutes to find me a price of ONE item. Excals where at $100 while literally across the parking lot at big daddy k’s have them for $65. Assortments where so disgustingly overpriced averaging about 80$-$100 for literally nothing that would put on a good show. The 500g cakes where alright but big daddy k’s automatically slaps them with their 4 for $100 on any 500g cakes. Apart from the actual store Johnny rockets website is literally a joke shows nothing more then contact info and location...it would be nice to know more on the site if it’s even worth making a trip... I don’t understand how this place is still running with it’s high price scam and their employees just sitting and talking 90% of the time at the register while the kids run the actual store. horrible prices, bad employees and bad management is enough to get me out of any store. Never coming again after this visit big daddy k’s is definitely getting my business.EDIT: you know it would be helpful if your employees actually knew the prices themselves instead of telling me $75 and later at the register $100 for excals. A well run business would probably keep a constant price tag on probably the best selling artillery shells...

Hold on everyone dont let one bad review stop you from going into johnny rockets. Jacks review is unfair. I just came from there and had nothing but great deals. I got snaps 4 for $2 not 4 for $3. And they are the bigger packs that have 50 snaps in them so thats 200 snaps for 2 bucks thats a good price to me. Walgreens sells the small packs of snaps. Also if you buy more for the sale price then your getting the good deal for buying more. Like morning glories sparklers 24 pack of 6 are $10 if you buy 4 its only $30 which makes a good deal. Its not forcing you to buy more its giving you the offer to get more for less. Theres artillery shots 4 for $30 each pack has 6 shots. Also the finale cakes are 4 for $100 compared to others who are more. So theres nothing but great deals there and great service by the staff.And one more thing. The buy 1 get 7 is not for matches and punks because firework stores dont even sell matches! The 1 for 7 are for the sky lanterns which is a great deal! So dont let jacks review mislead you away from such a great place with the best prices

Not impressed. Overall their selection is large, but their pricing is kind of a shell game and seems to be high. There are other options throughout the area for better pricing. They are worth checking out...but shop around before you buy.

There are better, more knowledgeable, and less expensive alternatives in the area. Steer clear of Johnny Rockets if you value your hard earned dollar.

Was confused as hell thru out the store some items had price tags on all sides with different prices or deals shall we say, they need to have a better pricing format instead of slapping a bunch of random prices/deals on some of their products. One of the workers tried explaning it as i was walking out but after being in the store for 15mins(only two other customers were around looking for fireworks.) And not receiving any assistance only till we were walking out i didnt want to deal with it ... the worker im assuming was the boss or owner was nice though. But please fix the format you have on pricing so people like myself dont get confused on how the items are being actually sold.
