Excellent food and attentive and friendly service. Differentiator is the menu offers nice variety with some dishes that arent run of the mill offerings. Only gave 4 stars because during non-COVID times bad indoor acoustics make it hard to hear.

Sat on a bench under the trees on a Sunday, sipping delicious iced coffee from Cilantros, just watching the world. Beautiful sunny morning, with blue skies and green grass. Friendly folks walking their dogs. There were gorgeous convertibles out for a drive, and so many cyclists. Heavenly, simply heavenly.

The Guilford Green is one of the most known and iconic places in the town. The green is very cool and well maintained itself and is spacious. Theres lots of local business to check out on the edge of the green. Its a great place to spend the day with a family. The statue in the middle looks great and is historic. The green has many good examples of a classic New England scenic town. For tourists checking out New England and the shoreline stop here! Or if your just passing through Guilford definitely stop by and spend some time here.

They had a lot of craters there with beautiful crafts. Some them seamed to be very high priced but others had quality art. The kicker was they they had also charged for admission of $9.00 for adults unless your a senior it was $7.00. If you parked at the church it cost you another $5.00 since most vendors took up the public parking around the green. It could be an expensive day if you were just window shopping.

The Guilford Town Green is a great place to gather in a group, walk your dog, or get some exercise in. There are ample sidewalks for walking and benches for relaxing and a whole bunch of trees which create a nice calming and relaxing environment. There are also shops right across the way for shopping, grabbing a cup of coffee, or dining.

Such a clean and friendly place. Went to town hall seeking info about my family history. We lucked out and the town historian was there. I told him that one of the founders of the town and 1st Governor of the colony of CT was my 9th Great-Grandfather and he seemed genuinely interested in talking to me. He gave us tips on where to get more info...very nice guy! Talked to other locals and all were so friendly. Loved it!

Ive lived CT since the mid 60s and still enjoy a trip to Gilford to enjoy a walk around the green, lunch, and a visit to the bookstore or bakery. Unfortunately. During COVID19 some restaurants do not open until 4 but we were able to find lunch at the local pizza shop. The hardware store is great even if its just to take a walk thru to see the inventory.

Pretty Town Green for walking or reading a book in the summer. The shops surrounding it are quaint and lovely (Toy store with toys that use the imagination, a chocolate shop, hot dog cart < Very tasty, several boutiques etc). Once you peruse through (took us about an hour or so), except having lunch, thats that. I visited at the end of Fall; very pretty. Thinking of visiting during the other seasons too. Perhaps they have more going on then??? Will be fun to find out. Overall, definitely worth a Saturday or Sunday drive to.

Guilford is a quintessential New England town, and the Green is at the center of it all. Large, filled with old trees with a Union soldier standing guard in the center, it continues to be a popular meeting and recreation area for townies and visitors alike. There are plenty of shops and good restaurants bordering the Green (I recommend Ballous Wine Bar, set back, near the Catholic Church) The Public Library also borders the Green. Guilford is well woth a visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We better hire a consultant for 50,000 bucks,,by the time they give a report..the grass WILL turn into hayproblem solved:)
