This single track will test you and your bike. There are a lot of tree roots and sand. There are a lot of fast downhill area and also a good amount of climbing. There are a few good jumps available. The one negative is that there are not clearly marked trails and you could be easy get lost.

It was unnerving when I biked these trails for the first time. I felt lost. Now that Ive ridden them numerous times, I love the ruggedness. I feel rewarded every time I visit and my skills have grown tremendously thanks to the variety of challenges.

These trails need A LOT of work. Mostly, just some basic signage would be a huge improvement. Prior to last Saturday, Id never ridden these trails but theyd been on my radar to ride if I was ever nearby.I happened to be in Wilson watching my nephews in a soccer tournament, so I brought my MTB to catch a lap or two on these trails.Horrible idea... Despite there being a map at the trailhead; I was utterly lost within a few minutes of entering the trails. In the first 1/2 mile of entering, the trail splits in 4 directions without any signage that would indicate which trail leads where and/or which is the route to the exit.I would run into this situation numerous times out on the trails where I would literally have to stop, de-glove, and zoom out on my GPS head unit to determine my location relative to the trailhead.Overgrowth of vines, shrubs, and tree branches was atrocious. Many times I felt as if I was riding through a tunnel of leaves and fingered branches of saplings reaching in to grab me off the bike. Literally ducking as I pedaled so I could see the trail ahead of me. At one point, out on the BC loop; I was riding alongside a creek when the trail just dead-ended into a previously forested, now clear-cut field of stumps and brush. I had to turn around, review my GPS again, and determine how to get back to the main set of trails. Many bridges were missing planks, nearly washed out, or completely washed out. Teeters looked sketchy and one pump track area does not look to have been maintained in a very long time.

Solid trails, a little technical because of the roots but overall good

Awesome trails. Needs updating though. Some of the ramps and things are destroyed and have been for years.

I like these trails. I have mountain biked here a few times, and trail run here before it gets to buggy. Most trails are pretty nicely maintained. Lots of zig zagging. One of the things I really like is the variety of the time of woods. Sometimes in a dense pine forest, then in hardwood, then swamp.

Very challenging trails. I would recommend good mountain bikes for these trails as they can be quite steep and have lots of roots. They are well maintained and clean but not for beginners.

I love this place. This is the best hiking in Greenville, NC. There are a lot more hills than youd expect in Eastern NC.
