So much history in this place. I am writing a paper about how to make this place more lovely and marketable to potential tourists. Hopefully, it soon gets the attention it truly deserves.

The home of the Natchez chief who defeated the deSoto bunch. This is where I also first met Natchez Nation Principal Chief Hutke Fields. On September 22 I finally met Uvcenv Cunv Uvsel Hutke Fields in person. It was at Winterville Mounds, near Greenville in Mississippi, during the fourth annual Winterville Mounds Association meeting. It was a great time, and I am so happy to have gotten to meet Cunv Fields as well as the others there at the meeting. It was a great experience. Below is a picture of myself and Cunv Fields. He talked about Kwe-kwvl-rvm, the Uvcenv Cunv Uvsel who put a stop to DeSotos invasion in Nvce Nation back in the 1540s, as well as the Nvce creation story as well as other parts of Nvce culture and history. I have a recording of the meeting, so that I can have a way to ensure that I dont forget the wonderful things I learned. Unfortunately, there doesnt seem to be a way to share it in this post. Oh well. Anyways, mvto Hutke Fields for inviting me to come. It was a very fun experience, and I look foward to learning more from you in the future. Thats all I can think to say, except for Happy Autumn and have a great day, everyone!

Sure its beautiful, weve been wanting to see this so long, website said it was open... Woke up really early and drove very far just to see locked gates.. I get the pandemic is causing inconvenience.. But the biggest inconvenience is having a website and not updating it to let everyone know that you in fact will not be open.. Literally waisted the only off day we got..

History of my country i have never heard before. Park (ranger)? Was really friendly and knowledgeable. He actually told me more about this place in the parking lot than most places would tell you on a paid tour .

The hours posted on Google are not accurate. The park itself is pretty good, though.

This is a special place. One should stop and ponder the past here. Remember the people who built and lived here. Their spirits are still there.
