Ive been taking kids here for many years. Ive painted here myself, had birthday parties, had ladies nights,Its such a fun place. The staff are amazing. I just cant say enough about how much we love it. Anytime I give my grandson a choice of something fun to do, he ALWAYS chooses Mad Splatter!!! Im so glad Greensboro has mad splatter!!

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to find good times, laughter, relaxing, and creativity. The new splatter room was a Great addition!!!! We all had a ball and the owner and staff are always so happy to help. Thank you for helping us celebrate my Daughters Birthday. We will definitely be coming back again :)

This place is awesome! I love, LOVE ceramics and painting, and this place delivers. We had our daughters birthday here and the staff was nice and gave us a private room in the back. They showed us which pieces were within our allotted price range, and were helpful with the kids.The only complaint Id give are two points - the ceramic prices are a little high (but I do understand pottery isnt necessarily cheap) and I would like to be able to bring in my own pieces of pottery to fire and glaze, as long as they meet the requirements of the temperature for the kiln. But again, I understand renting out a kiln is not necessarily something the business would like to partake in. So while those arent complaints and more suggestions, they would NOT stop me from going there and I would highly recommend going there to anyone! I plan on having my daughters birthday here next year too!!The employees were all fantastic! Most of them were great with the kids and very helpful and patient.

Fun experience. With time restrictions and cost. you are probably not going to create a master piece. Without paying for a master piece. Enjoy

Weve really enjoyed painting here during Covid. Its wonderful to have a kid friendly activity at this time! Love the selection of colors and ceramic pieces, and were dying to try the Splatter zone.

Clean and staff is attentive and helpful. Enjoyed our date night there. Were looking forward to going back.

It was fun for a 3 year old and 12 year old. Ladies there very attentive to customers.

My husband and I went in on an early afternoon looking for something different to do. The woman running the shop at the time was very nice and gave us some guidance as we hadnt painted ceramics in many many years. There were a few other patrons there but not crowded. Our only disappointment was that there werent a few more adult selections. We understand that this is a more child oriented activity but it would have been nice to have other options. But overall a nice experience and we look forward to seeing our final creations in about a week.

Great activity for a Friday field trip!

The experience was great! Ive never done anything like this before and we had my 7 yr olds bday party there. The kids all had fun and the staff was super friendly and helpful!

Very nice and helpful girls working there. There were 2 groups of parties back to back and they were tentative and helpful to both parties and helped me as well. I would go back again, I went at the last minute with my daughter and we both had a good time.

Hubby and I went on a noon date here. We absolutely loved it. Staff were very helpful. They pour the paint for you, you can have as much as you need. Kid and family friendly. Good selection of pottery. They also have painting on canvas. You can rent a space for a group. They also partner with local restaurants for sip and paint. An event is coming up at Kau restaurant, Im looking forward to checking that out

This place was perfect! If youve ever wanted to a paint party or girls day with all the food and wine, but didnt have enough people, this is your place! They do walk-ins, and even let you order in food! Also, the key highlight is that you can PICK which picture you want to paint, so if you want a challenge or just an easy piece, this is perfect. (Its also a bonus if you dont want to paint the same picture as everyone else!) Theyve got over 200 designs for adults, as well as a whole book for kids if you want to do a family day!

A fun place to spend time in Greensboro definitely block out about 2 hours, depending on what you get and how detail attentive you are.Great place for kids to paint and have a nice time with friends and family. Staff is very helpful

Ive heard a lotof wonderful things about this place. Im planning a birthday party for my 7 year old daughter. She has 12 kids whom would be attending. How does pricing work Ive looked online but its not to accurate.

Had a blast here for a friends birthday. I really expected my mug to come out like it was painted by a 5 year old (my artistic ability) but after going through the kiln it turned out really good.

So much fun to unleash the creative side. Yes, we went as a family outing. Fun. Bonding. Laughed. Supported one another. Got a cool new platter out if it too. Im sure well go back.

The best pottery place I have been! Traveling with our 5 children and they had a blast! Atmosphere was kid friendly and the prices per item were very reasonable.

They were extremely helpful and kind with my children as they worked on making Mothers Day gifts. My youngest (5yr old) finished early so they took her on a tour and explained the glazing process and answered her bazillion questions. Its a good place and we had an excellent time there.

The only issue we had was with another family who were waiting for their son to finish a painting. The parents were trying to occupy their two-year-old by doing a lot of loud wooing and having him jump up and down between their arms. It was a very rude. We all applauded when they left

Best place for paint your own pottery, hands down. You can make everything from Christmas ornaments and dishes to banks and figurines. *yes, you CAN find that ceramic Christmas tree that Grandma used to have and make it your own. Canvas painting is also available and they have recently added wooden options. They even have stones and glitter to add the finishing touches. The artwork on display is for sale!Ive been bringing my family and friends here for years and the employees are amazing - Kelly is always amazing and helpful during our visits.Perfect for small or large groups and even birthday parties! Daily specials and seasonal activities, discounts on out of season pieces.

Fun birthday party we went to. The party room was small but everything worked out fine.

Its really nice. Good selection of paint brushes, sponges, pottery to paint, canvas to paint. Expensive! And you have to wait 7-10 days until you can get your artwork. Didnt expect that. But, overall, good experience since we were in the area, but Ill stick with the Painted Grape in Burlington.

My wife, daughter, and sister-in-law have been here at least twice and really enjoy painting some pottery.

This was a great date night for the husband and I. I have always wanted to give my mom a ceramic angel like the one of hers I broke when I was much younger. This place is sooo relaxing and I look forward to going back many more times.

The employees were super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to have a fun party at The Mad Platter. I would definitely go there again!One thing to note about the pottery- it usually takes about a week or so to fire it and get it ready to use.

I came with a group and did not get very much details about what to expect so FYI: bring your own cups. They do have a refrigerator but it needs to be cleaned. The staff did not assist our group at all other than the initial set up, disappointing. My sister an I could have shared a canvas which was not told to us. I would do this type of event again but probably somewhere else. The time is roughly 2-3hours from start to finish.

Had a wedding platter made here so that everyone could sign it along with the guestbook. It turned out so beautiful my photographer was even taking photos of it! Meredith is great to work with. I would never have thought of a wedding platter that people could sign after it was glazed but what a great suggestion and something so unique that I can hang on a wall!

For kids of all ages! You will absolutely enjoy the selection of pottery and the time spent painting it. And the result is truly beautiful! An experience well worth the money and time!

Had a good night but our pottery wasnt finished and they accidentally put it in the kiln and separated one of our pieces. Other then that they were very nice and a great time.

Its a little pricey, imo. But it is a nice place to go do something with friends or take the kids.

This was our second time going to mad platter. It is always a great time I found out more techniques the second time. Youll have to ask if you see something you like and want to recreate it. I would definitely suggest this for a fun time with one person or a group

Im so sorry I dont remember your names but thanks so much for making his birthday special!!After writing a glowing review early last week I just have to add that this is the second time I have had issues with them taking an extremely long time to get our pieces ready. Two days ago one of my parents went by and picked hers up, yet still two days later I hadnt recieved a call to let me know my pieces where ready. When I called they said they had just pulled the last piece out. We only had 10 pieces, why would one be ready two days ago and yet the others just be getting finished. Wouldnt you do all of the pieces together for one order. Honestly I just think they are slack about calling their customers when things are ready. This is exactly what happened to me the last time we went in... Took them a long time to call us so we went by and the pieces were just sitting there. Its a nice place for a party but they definitely need to improve on calling to let customers know their pieces are ready. I know it seems insignificant but its not to me.
