Even thru covid19 the experience was pretty good. Wait time was only about 30 minutes so we played on the arcades for a while. I really liked that no physical tickets were distributed out of the machines, but instead into the cards used... Major improvement. The food was good in my opinion and the music was also good (nice variety). The staff was very attentive and very nice. I would recommend going if you have not been to the Grapevine Mills location.

Great service and facility!! The place has amazing arcades from japan and crane games with awesome cute cuddly stuffed characters also from Japan!!There was a issue with the app and sign up bonus but the manager Rachel and staff handled it with professionalism and solved the issue. Great fun for the family!! Cheap beers too!!

What can I say this place is awesome and always fun never a dull moment. They are doing deep cleaning on all the arcade. With sticker put on the arcades and removed once deep cleaned. Love this place

Went on a Friday afternoon, it was pretty empty, which was great. Played games while waiting for the kids play zone to be cleaned (which is something I really appreciate, the area is closed for 30 minutes at a time in order to be cleaned). Spent a total of $40 for $20 in games and the rest to cover a kid and adult in the kids play zone. Didnt feel like I was ripped off and really enjoyed the huge selection of games.

My husband and I have the time of our lives here and have been coming for three years now. Overall, games are in good working order whenever weve been here. Best part is how consistently they get new games! Id say every single time were there theres at least one or two new ones. After going to this one, the location in Arlington cannot compare, so dont bother trying that one, this Grapevine one is the clear winner in size/staff/game selection!

Nice place. Took my son there and we had fun, but it would have been better if all the games were in full working order. We got the unlimited play card, which only works on certain games. Thats fine, but those were the games that seemed to need maintenance. Namely the flight sim game, terminator and a few others. Other than that it was great.

Location is great, food is pretty good, always have a ton of fun whenever we can go! Some of the employees are just REALLY moody which is a shame. Had this issue a couple other times we went, too. The polite employees are wonderful though! If everybody was friendly Id give 5 stars because the location is great. Great Covid-19 precautions too!

I went here mainly because it was the only arcade I discovered that had Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 in it. Wasnt disappointed at all. I could totally go back here even if the pandemic is going on.

Most machines were not functioning. The ones working were enjoyable.

This is a nice place for both adults, kids and families. Its probably better than D&B imho. Bowling, Darts, Arcade, Kids area and Karaoke. They have a food area as well as a small bar. Overall a fun place to go.

An excellent place but they do not have any variety of food or drinks technically they have nothing and the precious ones are high but if you are looking for a place to play and have fun for a low cost it is excellent place

Today I was on this location and was awesome based on the #COVID-19. They are requiring masks and suggesting gloves (which they provide). Great for solo play but team play (even with your kid) is not possible as they disable dual play on those with only two players (reason why they lost star). Had a great day with my kid.

If your an anime fan and you love arcades, this is the place to go to. During the pandemic they treated this place clean and well done. Perhaps to generous because I won prizes here like it was nothing but overall it’s still a fun way of enjoyment. Just be sure to wear a mask until this pandemic is over.

We reserved a party here for my friends birthday. We purchased the 3 hour Adult/Package. The prices were reasonable and we had 2 bowling lanes, 2 pool tables, unlimited pizza, unlimited wings, unlimited drinks, and 3 whole hours of unlimited arcade games! My only gripe is that they ran out of Cherry Coke lol. We had a blast and we will most definitely return for more fun.

The staff is extremely helpful and they have a huge kids area. Its a part of a large mall. They have bowling and pool and even an area for food and drinks (even a bar). Theres fun for everyone here. A bit pricey but otherwise an amazing day to have with family or friends.

Right now its not as loud so it was quite enjoyable. Pre covid this place seemed over crowded at all times and overwhelmingly loud.

Confusing. Many games designed for head to head competition (games are 2 and 4 wide) have spaces made by restricting games so only 1 or 2 people can play. Yet other games, players sit directly side by side, are not restricted. Seems rules are not universally applied. Player card requires a $2 activation - that left a bad taste. Many games are completely in another language (Japanese - Chinese) and even a few more will state for sale and use inly in Japan. Interesting.

Great selection of games and kept the good days going and very cheap considering the time I spent there

My husband and I took our 3 kids to bowl. We knew that face masks were required and wore them while bowling. Each group was spaced apart by 2 lanes (about 12 feet) so we were only in contact with our immediate family. The staff watches you like a hawk. Each time one of our masks slipped down below our nose, a staff member came over to scold us and tell us to move it back over our nose. We were harassed by 3 separate staff members because our childrens masks slipped below their noses. It was a little over the top.

This is a fun place for the kids and even the parents. They have bowling, games food and even beer for adults. No tickets since its put on a card so it makes things simple. So many games for very young kids to older teenagers. Some games are pricey but others are not. So choose wisely. Great place for parties.

Amazing selection for arcade games. Literally anything you can think of. Claw machines for days that arent insanely difficult to win, plus a bar, bowling, pool, and a kids climbing area. Great place overall!

Had a great time. Lots of family fun too be had here. The environment was clean, though it did smell like old beer nest the bar I suppose thats to be expected. They offer a per hour card that unlimited plays on certain machines which is great for adult or mature players, while little kids dont get that concept and want to play everything. They offer unlimited soft drink refills which is nice. And now have a play land area for little ones too. I enjoyed my visit here.

This place is amazing! They have crazy cool games, and its so huge that it hardly seems crowded. They have arcade games, bowling, karaoke, food, beer and wine, and much more. I recommend coming here for all sorts of fun things to do.

I’m glad that R1 is finally open. However, it seems like the COVID 19 hypothetically infected some of the games. The card I got for the game didn’t work and the game program crashed.

Its a one stop fun place for both kids and adults coz you have an equal balance of physical activity inside the big, equipped play area (best part is parents are allowed to play along with the kids, not just sit and watch) and of course, a variety of arcade games and a bowling court... Now, what more could one ask for for a fun and relaxed weekend?!!!

Great arcade! Especially for fans of Japanese games like us. They have tons of crane games, fighting games, rhythm games, racing games, and more. Most of their stuff is on the modern side so the graphics are pretty but they dont have a lot in the way of retro stuff. Its kid friendly if you got em. Went to spend new years with some friends here. Arcade game were good, was a little over prized if you ask me, especially the bowling... for 4 people + shoe rental, they tried to charge us $78 nearly $80 for 2 games... thats just outrageous. Any other place would be about $30-$45 for an hour, which would be about 2 or even 3 games if bowling with only 4 people. Also when we ordered food, the guy gave us a wrong number and wrote on our ticket 91 and so we waited and waited and waited for 91 to be called and never did, so I went back out there and asked him what was taking so long and he was like but I called 51!!??? I was like 51????? And you can clearly see he wrote and told me 91. His excuse was the was tripping or skitzing out because he was busy??!! Are you serious?? So we ate a cold pizza and mozzarella stick, dis not even offer to redo it... screw this place, never coming back here.

Had my work Christmas party there. It was fun

We planned on doing a team outing there but I was told it must be booked 3 days ahead to get the advertised package (which nowhere stated the three day rule). We decided to still go because we were told we could still do an hour of unlimited arcades for $10/person, only to find out that only applied to the green games of which there were only a few and those were mostly in Japanese. I went to pay and they told me they dont accept American Express, which is my company expense card. There was only one person working the bar area so that took for ever. We ended up playing pool after a disappointing hour in the arcade which was fun but the team outing I had planned was much less fun than I hoped. Overall, it is a neat place with lots of games, bowling, pool tables, ping pong, darts and karioke rooms but dont expect to get a good deal or them to cater to your group.

This place is so amazing to my family and myself! All 3 of my kids from age 1 to 9 were entertained, and the price is reasonable! Great hours as well.

Being VERY honest I love this place! Definitely a place to bring your kids. My 3yr old can play on 1 side for small kids its so big so much to do she can play nonstop not be tired and bored while my 9yr old can play on other side for older kids. Im usually at this place for about 3hrs the most. Huge distraction and afterwards just shop around at the mall. I come every 2 to 3 weeks never fails! Recently moved and now its about 40mins and we still take the kids. Recommend it for sure!

The arcade games are really expensive here but Id say their worth it. They have an awesome selection of games including tons of games straight from Japan. The beer and wine is pretty cheap. Ive never had bad customer service here. Everything is usually pretty clean. Ive been going here for years and will continue to do so.

Half the machines dont work rite waist of money

Round 1 is conveniently located by an entrance to the Grapevine Mill Mall. You can bowl, play pool or play video games. There are video games for all ages. We opted in to the hour of unlimited game play on machines that do not dispense raffle tickets. You can play a lot of games in an hour. The Japanese drumming game is so much fun. The intro and tutorial are all in Japanese so good luck with Google translator.

So many rhythm games, including Project DIVA! I had a blast.

This place has a large selections of games at a really reasonable price for how new the machines are. The crane machines are hard to win but so worth the pay out as the prizes arent just cheap toys. The lanes are very pretty and are on par with any other bowling alley around. Would recommend people of all ages to go to this place.

Staff is incredibly helpful and cheery. The machines are well kept and in great working shape. The rhythm game corner is my favorite, too bad some machines arent online.

We had not gone in a while and we have never gone late like we did this time (10:30pm). So, I never knew that they had security at the door IDing everyone. Which is amazing so that there is no underaged drinking. You can expect to see people from different walks of life that is for sure. Loved seeing the men and women that ade into comicon.

We had a great time here! They have a little of everything thing bowling, ping pong, darts, poo,l arcade, a kids play zone and about 9 separate kareokee rooms. Great place to hangout with friends and family.

What a joke, wouldnt serve me a draft beer while I waited for wife because I didnt have my ID. Mind you, Im 40 years old, not 24. Im all for safe service, but are you that desperate to NOT serve a $6 draft beer?Management completely uncaring and indifferent to my polite plea for common sense.Only said, you should try Chilis... Wow. Awesome business model.

Very disappointed with Round 1. There was zero hand sanitizer anywhere, the men’s restroom smelled and there was zero soap and only one roll of paper towels out of the dispenser. With everything going on right now I’m truly surprised Round 1 is not taking this seriously. Don’t come here isn’t not sanitary

We only played in the kids zone today but I definitely would like to go back to bowl and play some air hockey and skee ball. Great play area and lots of fun things to do.

I had my sons first and now second birthday party here and it was perfect every time. Clean. Kid friendly. Alcohol prices are so cheap. Same as food. I didn’t expect to get the size of pizza/ burgers, etc for the price I did.Our friends had a blast, we had all aged kids and it worked out perfect.My favorite part I will not forget is my ever so excited two year old pulled his balloons and the knot cake undone and of course they flew up and got stuck next to a light. He was beside himself.I wish I would have gotten the two gentle men’s names who helped us get his balloons down. ( we where lucky they didn’t go too high. )This is what won me over. Making sure my two year got his pikachu balloon back!

If you are looking for an ultimate game stop this is the place you want to go!! I am not going to lie, the games are the priciest. I put 44 credits on the kids cards and it only got them like 5 games. The bowling was fun!! The kids playzone is perfect for littleones. Make sure you have someone to switch with. I recommend the 2hrs. Yes, you have to pay for everything here. They also have a billiards and darts area.

Awesome place!! It is huge in there! So many things to do, we spent almost 4 hrs in there and there was no way we had played half of the games and attractions that they have. Also staff is friendly and helpful. They also have awesome cool prices for your tickets, not the cheap stuff at all. Will be back, over and over again! The kids loved it!

The generous and kind employees made this a five star experience.While playing a claw machine game an employee noticed us struggling with it and offered a few helpful tips (and slightly nudged the toy inside the claw machine) to help us win. A really delightful, fun, and memorable experience.

Very fun place to hang out with friends, and its directly connected to the Mills Mall. Drinks and food are for purchase, and bowling can get a little expensive when more people start wanting to play more rounds. Arcade games can be played individually or buy a pass for the day. Staff is generous and nice, and will help you if you need anything. Great place, 4/5.

It was fun. Lots of activities, easy to lose your kids in, watch out! Restrooms are fairly clean and plenty of stalls. Was intriguing how they dispense the bowling shoes! Over all was a cool place!

Excellent place to play Bowling with Family and Friends

Had my 4 year old sons small bday party here on a Monday at the play area. Really nice, clean, employees were great, loads of games, plenty of space and fun in kids play area. As a first timer, I will definitely go back next time for myself and adult friends.

I walked into this place thinking it would be just a larger version of the arcades from my childhood. I had no idea how wrong that assumption was until I managed to explore the wide expanse of games leading all the way to the back (not even including the upper level).They literally have every game you can possibly imagine, and at least a dozen you cant. Ski ball, Tekken, pac-man, battleship, air hockey, Deal or No Deal, interactive sports rides, 3D shooting games, karaoke rooms, photo booths, and a giant version of connect four.My favorite game is called the Typhoon, and it simulates the aspect of riding a roller coaster. There is also a huge bowling alley, and pool tables that run the length of the back of the arcade. Once you earn enough points on your card, you can head to the prize room and chose whatever item you can afford with those points.My only issue with the arcade is that it should fix the problems with the cards. Most of the time the machines cant read the card when its swiped (even after multiple attempts). Its a big problem in the arcade and its probably costing them quite a bit of money. Ive walked away from more than one game without playing it, because it wouldnt accept the card.

This is the best round one in DFW I believe. Cool games . Could be a little cheaper.. but its fair.

Came here since it was my first Roadtrip by myself with my new car (And new driver) to visit my sister to have fun around Dallas for the fist year of this decade! Well since I came to Round 1 before and I know they had a Maximum tune 5 Cabinet in there I just could not resist to come here! And it was a blast to play in the end but I did had some noticeable issues around this Round 1...-Some card readers was kinda iffy. Had a R1 card for 2 1/2 years and somewhat worked when I cleaned it and swiped one time. After that I have to clean it off and swiped it again to make it read my R1 card again... And yea this can be annoying. So I brought myself a brand new card out of the Kiosk and still the same issue. Including with every scanner to swipe... Maybe its me or...?-Some trash was on the arcade cabinet and I can see some cabinets havent been cleaned (Some even have stains on them) which is nasty... And some of them are Imports from Japan! Please take more care of your machines!But other than that I had a blast from playing only Maximum tune 5! That game have such a unique feeling of Ridge Racer.

It can get kind of expensive but they do have a lot of games. They have bowling, pool tables, and a play area for smaller kids which you have to pay extra for. Its worth going to if youve never been.

This place is great if you need a break from shopping or for a fun afternoon!Me and my sister brought my son and my nephew 4 & 2. They had a blast and played for a few hours between the arcade and the indoor play area.

Great prices! Food is decent! ( I love the marinara sauce on their pizza, and I am one of those light sauce kind of people so that says something) surprisingly, the staff was very eager to tell us all of the different benefits and cons of buying particular packages for tokens and entertainment. We played pool, had very cheap drinks, $1.99 for draft beer or glasses of wine.... way bigger than Main Event, just all-around a fun experience!!!!!!

Has a lot to do for a Mall entertainment center(up-to-date arcade, karoke, pingpong bowling, children maze), still decent price when there are people.Will say that the downside is that it isnt very clean in certain areas(bathroom and litter)For bowling hobbist, they put out micro fiber cloths to wipe the balls before afternoon. The oil on lanes are a bit messy since its a more casual place. Occasionally I try to bowl and my foot somehow gets stuck midway during slide which hurt my knee a bit(unsure if its my shoe or the floor). There doesnt seem to be any type of bowling league here that I am aware of.

One of the coolest places Ive been. Its an arcade, its a bowling alley, and a play place. There are ping pong tables, group karaoke rooms, and pool tables. The karaoke looked fun. You get your own private room and you can fit anywhere from 6 people to around 20. I would love to have a party here.

First time coming to Round 1 and I must say I was super happy with this place!! Patrick and Joe were extremely friendly and super super helpful. Patrick noticed that we needed help without us having to call him over and come right on over to help! So many machines and games to play! Bring your friends and family! If you see Patrick or Joe make sure to wave and say hi :)

I will never go back to this place in my life. The security guard kept harassing my kids and I. Granted my kids are not kids 19 and 17. Every time they walk away from me to play a video game he would run up to them and state they need to show him their ID. Why? He response was just show me your ID. The thing is we were the only African Americans in the facility at the time. He was not asking everyone for an ID only us. Y’all can have it, no paying customer deserves to be harassed, stalked, and made feel uncomfortable.

Brought my 1 year old here with two other babies, after a nearby place was closed. Serendipitous! He had such a good time climbing, sliding, bouncing, and exploring all of the many, many things to do in their childrens play zone. As a bonus, he also enjoyed looking at all the bright lights on the video games.

Total family enjoyment. Spend all day here and it wont leave you broke

First time here.Interesting, I mean there are karaoke suites, so that alone gets a few stars. I have yet to participate in the pool or bowling, however there seems to be more than enough room to play without any worries. A massive amount of arcades and...beauty photo booths. Karaoke suite heat is set to burn the heathens, is it snowing outside? Aside from that the only small dislike is the way the food is prepared. The person preparing the food should be interacting with the public while cooking. That aside, seems like a fun place for a second or third date, maybe a weekly hangout.

Arcade is huge, plenty of pool tables. They have about 10 Karaoke rooms. They also have police/security at entrances on weekends which is nice, it’s a big, poorly lit parking lot. I gave 4 stars not 5 because of Karaoke rooms. They only allow up to 6 people in a room at a time and no alcohol in the rooms. But soda and food is fine?

First time Ive been. Actually from Louisana and wanted to go to Dave n Busters but stumbled on this place instead. It was SO FUN!! Great games, super helpful amazing employees who helped me when I needed it. Great prizes in the redemption store. I was surprised with how many different activities they had. If the manager reads this, please give a shoutout to the floor employee with short brunette hair and glasses who helped me with the claw machines last night! She was such a doll and made my birthday weekend so fun!!

Good pricing, all-ages game selection, Japan-import rhythm games, and actually fair Crane games. A way better arcade than the Gameworks that used to be at the mall.
