Great, just great, you as a person that wants your health back... Yes you, reading my review..... go here and learn to love the outdoors and believe air is more important than being in the house. For those of you who prefer to walk, the road is open and you can walk, along ways back to the fields. There is fishing in here. The flowers are beautiful, at the ponds. Mountain biking is another great thing to do here. Plenty of trails. Bring first aid kit, bring helmet, no helmet no ride. I ran my RC truck back here. I just needed a place that was majestic, and quiet, and made me feel comfortable. This place does it for me.

Good trail for mountain biking. It can get pretty wet in some sections and the mosquitoes are hungry. I wouldnt consider it after heavy rain. Still one of the best trails in the area.

This is one of the best places to Mountain Bike in the Low Country. Not real challenging on a technical aspect but long flowy trails and great scenery.

Got done with the trail and two military police are waiting for me. No pass and expired tags. They were decent guys but my car was towed. Trails are rooty and need some attention. Im not interested in uncle Sams pass to ride in the woods. Very dog friendly.

For DoD card holders and pass holders. This is a federal property. If you enjoy mountain biking, get a pass. Youll enjoy it. Probably around 18 miles of well maintained trails.

It was not obvious from reading about this site in multiple sources but, it is Military owned and requires that you have a D.O.D. ID on you at all times OR that you get some sort of advanced approval and carry evidence of that. They do not check you upon entrance, but we werent going to risk getting stopped while on trail so we turned around and left after reading the requirements posted at the trailhead. Too bad after reading g that it was good my biking which is rare to find around Charleston.

Great trail system. Fun trails for the whole family. Not overly Techincal, but plenty of roots and some water crossings. Need a trail pass from Outdoor center which requires a few days to process - so plan in advance.

Great low country running trail. Love the scenery as you’re weaving in and out of marshy areas, wooded and open stretches. This is a more enjoyable trail in the cooler months as you’re not having to be as focused on posible interactions with wildlife. Trail offers several bailout options if you’re not wanting to complete the entire loop.

Better than nothing, susceptible to any rainfall because it doesn’t drain, rooty and better have a Department of Defense pass that is a bit of a pain to acquire. Take what you can get, beggars can’t be choosey. One thing I can say, Low Country Fat Tire Freaks, an exemplary MTB organization that is among the best I have ever witnessed.
