This is where the Roaring fork river and the Colorado river meet and together head west...The bike path runs through. This past year they improved the park. Putting a boat ramp and walkway along the river side.Benches dot along the ridge of park. Sit , relax and picnic while u watch rafters , paddle boarders, tubes small boats w/ good fishingAnd cool down on a hot day and jump in.

Excellent park by the Rio GrandeCame across this by accident looking for things to do. The park is brilliant, nice for walking and with plenty of seating. As you walk from the car park towards W 8th St, you follow the river and then you will see what we think is the best sites in Glenwood Springs, the meeting of the Raging Forks River with the Colorado River above which is a railway bridge emblazoned with the words Rio Grande. Better still just before noon youll be able to get a photo of the California Zephyr train making its 51.5 hour journey from San Francisco to Chicago.Whilst in the park, met Herb from the Parks Dept who let us know about other places to see and a concert taking place in the park the next evening.

Beautiful. The kiddo and i went fishing and he caught a good sized fish. I had no luck, but probably because the was so much water. Lots of snow melt so the water was full of silt, dirt, and logs. The park had a beautiful backdrop.

Two Rivers Park is great. Amazing views, events, and amenities. There is an amphitheater, skate park, boat ramps, softball diamonds, etc. Lots of room and lots to do. My only complaint is the lack of boat ramp etiquette in practice. People really should use more common sense and common courtesy when taking out of the river. The park still gets 5 Stars. I cant blame the park for this.

This park needs a major update. This area is too big, with little to do. Start with increasing river access for more than just boat owners (i.e. beach, fishing access, etc.). The playground should be expanded or another one should be build at a different location. There is a major need for more covered picnic areas. The bathrooms desperately need to be replaced and rebuilt in 2 or more locations. An ice skating rink should be added in the wintertime. There is no reason why some event should not be happening every weekend during the year (all seasons). Make this a Glenwood flagship location for all to enjoy.

This park has a really cool play ground. The kids just love it here. The skate park is really nice too and everyone gets along well (skate boarders and scooters). Great place to have a birthday party. There is also a place, to get out of the river if you are rafting, canoeing or paddle boarding. During the summers they have small little concerts in the park. I think youll like it.

Love this park! It seems to be constantly worked on in one regard or the other, whether its the trails, the bathrooms, the parking lot or a gazebo, but its big enough that its never been a problem. Great spot for an impromptu picnic or come for live music at the small stage thats available. Its also a great park for (well behaved) dogs as theres plenty of room to run and its right next to a river so they can cool off with a swim.Theres usually plenty of parking, but if theres an event of any kind, expect to park and walk.Theres also a boat ramp for access to the Colorado River. Ive only used it for tubing so I cant really comment on it, but it seems pretty nice.

When my daughter was 14 months old back in 1994, my mother and I took a very memorable road trip - 3 generations of women. On our way thru Glenwood Springs, we witnessed one of the worst days in this citys history - Storm King Mountain was on fire, and with it took 14 beautiful firefighting souls that day, July 6, 1994. Ive been back here many times over the years, as Glenwood is rich in Colorado history and beauty, but everytime I am here, I also make it a point to visit Two Rivers Park, where there now stands a memorial to these people who gave their lives in the bravest of sacrifices. I hope you will stop by and honor them as well.

I love this park, the trails you can access are nice and are designed that all fitness levels can use. Paved so elderly are safe no issue of falling because of loose gravel or debris. Children are fine but water runs close so must keep a close eye.this is sometimes very fast moving water so falling in could be very hazardous. Good parking, bring a bike, stroller and just enjoy. Weekends can be alittle tight, pets are welcome on a Leash! Please pick up the mess.

We rented the covered area near the playground equipment ( newly remodeled and more to play on) - our group had a large shaded area, about 8 picnic tables, lots of clean trash recepticles, nearby bathrooms & a beautiful day. The nearby river was being enjoyed by rafters, there were people on roller skates & bikes on the bike path. There is a skate park also. There is a walk bridge/bike path over the river. Summer concerts also happening still in this park - Wednesdays I believe. Great park to enjoy!

Gteat park in Glenwood Springs. Baseball diamond, great for sports and park flying, Wednesday Music series in the Summer that is a lot of fun, kids playground where old guys metal detect for riches, rentable shelters for parties and events, grills for cooking out if you want to feed the fam and Glenwood restaurant prices got you down, and a sweet boat ramp and perfect eddy where many commercial companies and fisherman take out. Good fishing on the southwest corner for easy takes. Also the large confluence of the Roaring Fork and the Colorado rivers. Great train watching for Amtrack and UP fans. This was the old site for the D&RG roundhouse and freightyard but nothing remains today except the once in a while rail spike.

Named after the confluence of the roaring fork river emptying into the mighty colorado they have built footbridges across the river and walking paths through through the park. Also placed here is a memorial for the firefighters lost in the king fire that came so close to wiping us off the map. Theyre names and faces placed here forever.A major stop for rafting companies, a ballfield, a concert hall, the gondola across the street, glenwood pool just down a path. This park has become a go to for eating your packed lunch or just stretching your legs after driving.

This park is awesome, lots of trees, huge open area, a park for kids, and a loading dock for rafts from the river. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because I think the City should do more to restore the banks and introduce more native vegetation to the park. I believe were a progressive town and our parks should reflect that.
