Definitely a nice walk/ hike. We actually walked to the gravesite from our hotel and then the half mile walk/hike up to the grave it’s definitely a decent walk/hike.

Moderate hike. It was gorgeous. We followed the local trails out of Doc Holiday too and was pleased with the view. The Doc Holiday trail takes maybe 2 hours. The additional trail we took to lookout mountain right behind it took a few hours but we still couldnt complete it.

Nice walk, the view is amazing on the way up. Slippery this time a year with snow getting compacted and freezing, also muddy, should bring hiking shoes.

A very interesting and historical site. Another Old West character is buried nearby. The Glenwood Springs area is beautiful.

American West history surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hike, the grave yard and potters field were awesome. It is a shame that the city doesnt open the road up to the cemetery so the elderly and disabled could enjoy it. Thats the reason its only a 3 star.

Nice little hike to the cemetary on top of a hill. Beautiful view on the way up of the town and mountains into the distance. There was a colorful tree with a bunch of ribbon on it. I am not sure what that was for but it seemed interesting.

Although this is not the final (exact) resting place of Doc Holliday, its interesting to see the memorial and be in the cemetery where he is buried. A lot of other interesting headstones around as well.

Such a cool and easy hike to get to the cemetery and see Doc Holidays Memorial - not gravesite. They dont actually know where in the cemetery his gravesite exists, so theyve placed this memorial here as a placeholder. Even so, the hike is worth the reward. The views are spectacular and the gravestones are extremely old. Feels like youre walking back in history a little bit as you imagine what it mustve looked like back in the day. I definitely recommend taking a detour and seeing this place if youre ever in Glenwood Springs!

Lovely area of town. Residential district, very limited parking, I wouldnt take a trailer there. Commentary is historic and a half mile, uphill walk. Sign on the street gives history.

Given the actual location is unknown, the chosen plot is in a good location near the cemetarys flag pole with a nice view of a mountain side.
