The place is beautiful and rejuvenating. The water temperatures are great. We were there in the end of august. It was a little bit too hot in a mid day, but felt great in the mornings and evenings. There are way less people on weekdays compared to weekends. Just a great relaxing experience.

Enjoyable BUT pricing is a bit stiff. $2.50 per towel rental and 3 adults, 1 child admission ran us $90. Would definitely recommend that families wait until 8 pm so that you only pay half price. Clean facility and swim area. Pricing should be reconsidered.

The worlds largest hot springs pool. We spent 4 hours in the healing waters. Their main pool, the “big” pool, is 405 feet long and 100 feet wide at the widest point. It has 1,071,000 gallons of water, and is kept at about 90° F / 32° C and features a diving area and exercise lap lanes. They claim that this is the worlds largest hot springs pool. Their therapy pool, the “small” pool is 100 feet long and contains 91,000 gallons of water. It is kept at a temperature of about 104° F / 40° C. They sell food and the prices were reasonable.

I could not complain about water quality, cleanliness or Covid rules and regulation , but good behavior of people means a lot, sometimes as much as all the money in the world.First , prices are not update it is $21.75 per person , second I had a 2 years old grandson with me, and I was asked multiple times what age did he had .Did someone think if you make a trip and accept conditions you will not be able to pay for a kid??? I feel very frustrated about their behavior. It is no more re enter , you need to pay and to stay how much you can .One of the persons who was very rude it was a man today when we leave I said Thank you ! and he said how old is your child?!!I didnt remember his name it was beginning with C , Cameron maybe. But not that is the point....Everyone who go there and pay the price deserve better customer services .I hope my review will change something and you will update your access information.Thank you!

Nice place to relax, great pools. I see lots of parents putting babies in the 104 degree water of the hot springs and wanted to share this. It does say hot tub but the springs are 104 or warmer at times. It can be very uncomfortable for young kids so I ask you just keep this in mind. I feel like the staff should regulate this better.

The largest hot spring pool in the world. The therapy pool is 104F. No temperature rating for the main pool but it too is very warm and comfortable. There is also a lap pool, and a 12.5ft deep end with a diving board. If thats not enough, theres a kiddy pool with water slides, plus a larger water slide for the bigger kids and adults. Price is $30 for adults and $19 for kids. Ages 2 and under are free. Pool noodles and floats are welcomed.

Pool was awesome. Paying not so much they dont tell you you cant re-enter till you are trying to leave. And after spending almost 100 to get in and having fun then leaving to have some snacks and some water. As well as telling my children we would come back. I understand its during covid but they need to make that very apparent before going in. Not just a small sign on the door. Oh and it doesnt say anything on there website. Oh and the manager we talked to said well iron mountain you pay more for just 2.5 hrs. And I told her yes but you know that going in.

Just so everyone knows, the whole thing about wearing masks unless actively swimming means all masks come off as soon as you get to the pool area. All its going to take is one infected person and this place is a tinder box. We wore masks and sat towards the lesser used end of the therapy pool trying to stay away from people and kept our fingers crossed. Not going again till things settle down. Nice place, 29 bucks is steep to get in I think but the water is 105 perfect.

We really do love the Hot Springs and will return, but Covid has changed the place. No lockers available. It is hard to get water to drink - bring your own. Theres only one vending machine near the hot pool and it is difficult to get change to use it - the concession is busy with a very long line. Employees in the pool area and life guards are very nice, but the person we paid to get in was not. She seemed put out to answer questions. Chairs are in short supply because many of them are on the lawns, where signs say not to use them. As I said, we love the Hot Springs, but there are challenges to having a good time.

We stayed across the river and easily walked over a pedestrian bridge to the hot springs. Because of the virus, we waited in line for about 30 minutes. People we respectful and honored social distancing. The bummer was that because of the virus no re-entry was allowed. No lounge chairs or chairs were available so we stayed in the pool and soaked for about two hours before leaving. Be sure to check out the really hot pool too. We almost missed it because we were in the big pool and thought that was it. Overall, nice place to relax.

If you are looking for a relaxing hot springs location, this is it. It was 30 degrees outside and my wife and I decided to try this place out since we were in the area. It is pricey. If you zoom in on the admission sign, you’ll see that it is $21 per person to use the facilities. There are paid lockers. Just make sure that you have quarters with you because it costs 50 cents per opening and closing. The smaller therapy pool is 104 degrees but it feels really good on a cold day. The larger pool is also pleasantly warm—just not 104. The wind picked up just a little bit so my head was getting rather cold. Next time I would bring some sort of hat to keep my the top of my head and ears warm. Friendly staff and there are shower facilities for when you want to get out for the day. There is a slight smell of sulfur in the air. It was a fun experience and highly recommended. I’m not sure I’d do it in the summer months just because of the heat but the colder months are ideal for this adventure.

My family has come here for years. Website did not state we could not bring coolers. Upon arriving we were told no outside food because theyre trying to limit the outside exposure from food prepared at other restaurants with possible. covid I said but we prepared it, can we at least have snacks? She said bottled water. She said we could purchase food at the concessions. Their protocols go against suggestions of limiting exposure of eating out. It would have been nice for clear transparency on the website and the woman at the turnstile to be honest, Hey were hurting because we were closed for awhile and now we cant be at full capacity so we have to compensate by jacking food prices up and not allowing outside food. Fortunately our motel has pool and hot tub. Sad to think this will no longer be a family tradition .

EXCELLENT PLACE!!!!!!! This is a must if you are visiting Colorado, the pool is located right in Downtown Glenwood Springs which add a beautiful view around this place. The pool is AMAZING, in fact, there are 2 pools here, the little one is the hottest and has like 3 spots for water massage which is amazing as well, the larger one is actually the largest hot springs pool in the world and its a little bit colder than the other one. The price for the entrance is 17.50 which is a great price for the amenities offered here. There is a grill restaurant, a souvenir store, a center where they teach how to swim and all of those things among other amenities. The views of the mountains that surround the pool are breath taking and its a special place to take pictures. What I didnt like was the little flies, there are like millions around the pool but its just because the spring stage and there are some spots that are not invaded of them. Anyway is a BEAUTIFUL PLACE. The water is excellent and I noticed that after the water dried up in my skin, it felt so soft and renewed. You must go to this place. Just STUNNING.

Brought my friends to the hot springs recently. We rented a cabana. Because of Covid there is no cabana service. You have to get your own food. Food is really good. I give them 5 stars for the ice cream. The Cabana.....I give 4 stars for the decor.....pretty comfortable and has a ceiling fan. But it was very dirty. Bring your sanitizer and wipes. The little refrigerator was gross. So filthy. The tables were gooey and sticky. The trashcan was yucky. For cleanliness I would give 1 Star. And at night.....we had a cockroach join us. He wasnt too friendly. He kept to himself....so that was good. But the pools were nice.....we did enjoy swimming. However when it came time to shower and leave. The Bathrooms would get 2 stars....not very clean. Hopefully they will improve on the cleanliness. Because we really did have fun.If you are worried about contracting Covid....just stay home....this is a public place.

Very unprofessional, unsafe and dirty. Drove from Grand Junction today to go to the pool. Paid 150 dollars for 5 people to SWIM in a dirty pool after a very packed tight line full of people. Waiting to get in. Before we left from out of town, we checked the website to make sure we were following all rules and guide lines while visiting.... it clearly stated we could have coolers. After carrying the cooler all the way inside we were told we couldn’t have it because of COVID....? (Apparently your overpriced food and long packed lines are safer) Mean while...other people entered the pool area with their coolers and fast food and other items but we were told we couldn’t bring ours in. They are using COVID as an excuse to make extra money off of people all while not following other safety guidelines? It was a total disaster of a day and we usually come here 2 or 3 times a year!!!Don’t waste your money here. The pool has become overpriced, not very well managed and dirty. You guys should also probably have some showers that work for people if your going to charge 30 dollars a person even for Children. Your staff needs new training and you need to update your website instead of wasting people’s times. Doubt we will be back. Very sad.

The snack bar and food truck dont open until 11:00 am and then the grill closes for food sales.you are not allowed to leave the pool and come back. What are they thinking? The big pool is just warm. It has swimming tracks too at the far end. The only thing I didnt like is too much salty water. Its genuinely too salty. Take enough water. My family stayed 2 nights at the lodge and while we had a nice time at the pool, being lodge guests was more of a hassle than a benefit.Every morning, you get to walk across the street to the pool and wait in line for breakfast. No breakfast at the lodge. After that line, you get to switch lines to wait to get into the pool. They advertise that lodge guests are guaranteed entry to the pool, and they should have a separate line for them to enter. But no, you get to wait in line and once they get close to capacity they will call lodge guests up. This was at opening, not the middle of the day. By the time you get in, all the lounge chairs are gone and you are left standing there wondering why you paid to stay at the lodge for this.If you choose to run back to the lodge for something throughout the day, get ready to wait in line again. Once you leave they let someone else in. If they are at capacity when you return, you have to wait. But dont worry lodge guests get priority to re enter. No outside food or drinks allowed. So make sure you get in line at the concession an hour before you want to eat. Hundreds of people need to get food as well, so get ready to wait. After an hour in line and paying top dollar for the food, enjoy the gas station quality. The pool and new water features were nice. But everything else was a disappointment.

I would have rated this place higher, maybe 4 stars, had it not been how poor of a job I saw them managing social distancing with the COVID situation. They have tried. They have painted lines every 6 feet between sets of seats and Xs on the ground for where to stand in line. But that is where it ends. There was very minimal to non-existent enforcement of these boundaries. (I think I heard a life guard once in our 6 hour visit ask people to move apart.) I wound up asking people numerous times to give my kid and I more space and this was either ignored or met with glares. People completely ignored the paint illustrating the 6 foot lines between chairs and were practically right on top of us. And this was all mid week when conceivably the crowds are smaller. We are supposed to stay for a few days, but we are honestly considering leaving early because it just isnt safe. I hope they can get it together because it would really be a nice place to visit otherwise.(Example photo below, but frequently the line was all the way down the stairs, packed body to body.)And to those haters... We should be able to BOTH enjoy ourselves AND socially distance. I dont understand why it is so hard to not be directly on top of each other in a line where everyone is going to the same place!

It was my wife, 10 year old daughter and myself. The pool closed at 9pm and I was charged for the entire day. The cost was $77. My wife was not feeling well so I needed to take her back to the hotel at 7 pm. Upon leaving I was told there are no returns. I asked why and they replied, due to COVID-19. I then asked if I returned in 15 minutes why I could pay once again and be let in? Was the COVID virus now a marketing tool? The hot springs pool is so much fun but not without a huge price tag. Why there are not half day admissions and returns the same day?I cannot any longer recommend this place. Dont you think nearly $80 for a 1.5 hour swim is incredibly unreasonable?

It was poorly communicated on their website what the new covid procedure is actually like for their facility. This facility states on their website that this is a first come first serve situation. Meaning they are only letting in a certain amount of people in at a time without a time limitation as to how long guest may stay. Thus causing huge lines of people to be sitting for hours in a non-social distancing line outside of the entrance. Patiently waiting with other groups of people and their children not knowing when they will be able to get inside. I over heard one of the staff members at the front of the line say to a concerned customer we have no idea when youll be able to get inside. It would do this hot springs more good to set up a reservation based schedule for customers and provide a time limit as to how long groups or individuals are able to stay at the pool. Do your part to protect your community not make it worst.

Great on a weekday. Bit pricey for not allowing return visits in same day. Biggest spring pool in the area, natural feeling, even if it is a man made construct.

How cruel and uncaring. I just witnessed an incident that I found disgusting. The pool lifeguards would not allow a special needs person to be in therapy pool wit her special floaty. I no longer recomend this pool for anyone. Staff has attitude. No place to sit. If you have pool pass you are treated like poor relation. Very restricted access. Too had they didnt use closed time to improve facilities. They also really increased prices. Plan on arriving at least 1 hour before pool opens as line is done the block and you may not get in

Great experience. The hot springs werent too crowded, locker rooms were clean and my family and I had a wonderful time. When wed visited, the water park was still under construction. Im hoping to make it back in a year... Hopefully the construction will be completed and I can fully experience this part of the hot springs experience.A few things to note if youre considering visiting this location:- This is a family-friendly hot springs; some of the other hot springs in Glenwood are not ok for kids.- this is the largest hot springs in Glenwood.- there are hotter springs and some cooler ones as well.- For anyone considering Glenwood Hot Springs, its important to note that you can purchase a towel for a few bucks, or bring your own (free).

Very nice place, cant bring in food. Long food lines are common, expensive and limited so plan ahead. The pizza place isnt that great, but edible and usually a shorter line.
