One of the best experiences here in Colorado!This crew is top notch excellent, you can’t find a better company to book with.Absolutely fantastic, fun adventure! They’re very safety minded, so don’t worry about this being “dangerous”.Our guide David was a super guy; very fun, pleasant, and pointed out plenty of cool noteworthy and historic places along the way. If you go, ask for David! I’ve experienced plenty of employees who it’s just a job to them and they have that basic level of customer service, but he’s genuinely cool and fun.And don’t take the basic adventure, book the half day that includes the Shoshone rapids! You won’t die, and it’s a blast.Stop scrolling and book your adventure!

One of the best adventures I have ever had. Maddie was one of the most awesome guides throughout the entire experience. I had lost my GoPro during the trip in one of the transportation buses and Blue Sky Adventures shipped it all the way to Los Angeles the next day! Thank you guys once again and we will definitely be coming back soon!

Rafting is a must do, obviously, but if you want to truly have a great time Blue Sky Adventures is definitely the way to go! The staff is very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to ensure your time is enjoyable. I did get a little more wet than expected, but hey, thats the name of the game! 12/10 would recommend!

Fantastic Adventure!If you are looking for an adventure in the great outdoors, you must try Blue Sky Adventures. We went on a white water rafting trip that we didnt want to end. Our guide, Maddie, was fantastic pointing out things of interest, local lore and legend, and engaging in fun conversation. Kudos to her expert steering and instruction getting us through the rapids. The adventure is punctuated by the majestic mountains rising above you. Check out Blue Sky Adventures and ask for Maddie for a trip you dont want to end.

Went rafting yesterday and had the absolute best time! Everyone at Blue Sky was extremely friendly and very professional, going over all the safety measures in great detail. Murphy was our guide and he was fantastic! He was very enthusiastic about his job and was making everyone laugh. We had a great experience!

My husband & I went yesterday and this was one of the most amazing things we have done here in Colorado! I was super nervous for the rapids and that ended up being my favorite part. All the staff was incredible and worked together wonderfully. Our guide was Abby and she was fantastic! Super down to earth, sweet and made the experience fun for everyone. Took my 9 year old daughter and my mother out river rafting on the fourth of July. My daughter was extremely nervous being it her first time. Our River guide, David, was a gem. He made my daughter feel so comfortable and made such a memorable experience for her. She cant wait to turn 12 so she can do the mini Max ;) we might need to do a couple more half days before shes ready for that! Ha! Will definitely be requesting David in the future.Great staff- Thanks so much for a great time.

Our family had a great time!Lucy went above and beyond to show us a good time on the river. She was more than patient with my kids and especially my special needs son. Shes a genuinely kind person. She made our trip memorable and were very grateful to her!!!

We had an amazing 1/2 day on the river. Larry was an awesome guide! My 6 year old was a little anxious at first, but Larry had her (and all of us) laughing at the end. We really enjoyed the rapids and the fun float. Would highly recommend for families.

Our troop has been using Blue Sky since their inception, and they have been very positive and professional. Our scouts have had a very good time using them at Philmont and Sea Base to include their use of excellent hotels and places to eat. We also had a great time sight seeing and doing many fun filled events.

Our troop has used Blue Sky Adventure three times (Two Philmont treks and one Sea Base trip) each time they has been there for us from start to finish. They worked with us when Philmont closed In 2018 due to forest fires and helped to roll over our account for our make-up trip in 2019.I would recommend them to any unit wanting to go to one of the high adventure bases.

We used them in 2012, 2016, and 2019 each time with excellent service. As an adult leader it is great to know once we meet with Blue Sky at the airport we have one less thing to stress over until they drop us off at Philmont.

Murphy was our guide and he was outstanding. We had to do the Roaring Fork because of the fire nearby, but it was a superb trip. Highly recommend and try to get Murphy as your guide

The staff is incredible - kind, informative and friendly. Abbie was an amazing guide! Experiencing the canyon and the river up close made us appreciate the natural beauty of the area even more. We only wish we’d done a full day trip rather than a half day!

My group has worked with Blue Sky Adventures for a dozen years and are extremely satisfied with the service they provide. They provide good activities to keep the Scouts busy as they tour Colorado and get acclimated to the altitude before their arrival at the Philmont Scout Ranch. Blue Sky has been a God-send for the years when something interfered with our travel plans, like the fire in Colorado Springs that shut down our planned cog railroad climb up Pikes Peak or a couple years later when the cog railroad closed. They had alternate activities lined up quickly that I never could have arranged from Pennsylvania for my group. I could not be more pleased with the efforts that Rob Pardue and his staff put out to ensure that our groups has a fun and memorable experience for the Scouts.

A class act from beginning to end. These people are great. They deliver a wonderful experience from beginning to end. My son and I had the scout trip of a lifetime at Philmont. Blue Sky Adventures was a big part of that experience.

Our group had an absolute blast rafting with Brad at Blue Sky. I had never been before and shared my 12 year-old daughters slight apprehension but our day truly could not have been better. Highly recommend!

My Troop has used them many times and had flawless results. Even in 2018, they helped save our trip by recommending outfitters for kayaking, horsebackriding and rock climbing. We created an alternative adventure to New Mexico with their help. I have enjoyed their tours in New Mexico and Colorado as part of our trip to Philmont. They definitely make my job as the trip coordinator easier!

Did 4 hour adventure. Flows were around 2500 cfs. Route starts at Shoshone Rapids (these are fun) followed by several easier rapids between long periods of lazy river float. Small kids were allowed on big rafts. We had a big raft with 5 people (including guide). Guide was able to explain some of the landmarks in the canyon. Multiple opportunities for small talk with guide and other boaters. COVID masks not required on the river.Route seems to be routine for guides and the safety brief we were given was presented very non-nonchalantly (by someone who had never been in a serious rafting accident). Sure enough, witnessed a raft flip on the trip. Raft was a small 5-person mini-max boat. Guides responded to accident well on the water, although afterwards their attitude seemed to be that the flip was the clients fault for not paddling well. Flipped clients got off the river.Overall, not a bad way to spend an afternoon in Glendale Springs. Vibe is more family fun than extreme adventure. Would recommend to families or first time rafters. For an adventurous adult who has paddled class 3 rapids before, Id recommend the mini-max adventure.

My partner and I had an amazing experience with Blue Sky Adventures a few weeks back. Our guide Karlee was very friendly and went out of her way to make us all feel safe and welcome. We had some snags on our plans and the staff at the welcome desk worked with us to find a different time slot. I had so much fun I would most definitely return and raft with them again.

We werent planning on rafting in Glenwood but we changed out minds last minute. Blue Sky Adventures was able to squeeze us in with another group that hour. (I dont think this is normal as this was a slow weekday). We had a great time on the 3 hour trip and really enjoyed our time with the guide. Safe and fun afternoon activity, looking forward to going back someday. They even rented out water shoes for only a few dollars for those who were unprepared like me.

We had a great time rafting. Our guide was awesome. He told us about the river and what we were seeing, and navigated the river expertly. All the rapids when we went were Class 3.

Calvin was crazy funny, the information he told us as we rafted, gave us a new perspective of the history of Glenwood springs! My whole family had a blast! We will be back! Ask for Calvin and you will not be disappointed!

Rented bikes to ride along the Glenwood canyon trail. We rode out about 10 miles to the hanging lake trail and did that hike. Both were awesome! Blue Sky has hybrid bikes that allow you to sit upright and see the scenery as you ride along the easy path. Very flexible company. Great service! Great prices.

Showed up right before the 815 meeting on Fathers Day. They had were already booked full, but called another guide in so we could still go. This was amazing service on Fathers Day. Tour guide was lily and was very helpful with my two children 8-10.

We had an amazing time white water rafting at Blue Sky Adventures! Lucy was a super fun and knowledgeable guide, and the rafting itself was lots of fun! The safety brief was very thorough, everything was very well orchestrated, and though the river was low, we all had a great time. We even got some great suggestions for great food, hiking, and camping in the area that we took advantage of. A must-do in Glenwood Springs!

Our guide Rawling, I hope thats how he spells it, was GREAT! He was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. Super friendly and helpful staff on the phone. I booked the mini-max trip online, website was easy.Highly recommend the mini max if you want to be in a small group, boat holds 4 customers and 1 guide.

We used Blue Sky for our family rafting trip. It was myself, my husband and our two children, ages 3 and 6. I admit i was nervous taking the kids out, but everyone at Blue sky was amazing. Our guide, Hayley, did everything she could to make the kids and i feel safe and comfortable. We had a wonderful day on the Colorado River and once we were out there I felt very comfortable having the kids with us. Definitely recommend Blue Sky! Awesome place!

We were driving cross country and planning as we went, and our hotel recommended this outfit for activities. We called the day before and they had several rafting trips going out so we booked. The rafting trip involves maybe 15 minutes with some rapids, then a looong drift down the river. That second part could have been st least 30 minutes shorter. You’re just sitting in the sun and not much is happening. The guide was knowledgeable and shared tidbits about the area. We saw a couple of trains go by, which was cool. I’d say this company does as well as I’d want, and it’s a great way to see the canyon, but it’s not 2 hours of thrills.

Came down from Vail to hit the river. Had a great time . Guides are great, Mac was exceptionally knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. It was easy too book and the section of the Colorado through the canyon is beautiful. I highly recommend. They took great photos too!

Had a terrific Fathers Day 1/2 day Trip! All the guides and front end staff were Great, and our guide Patrick was really fun, especially so for the kids in the boat! He told great river tales and knew lots about the geology of the Canyon! Well definitely be back!

Rented a mountain bike here for the day. The bike is brand-new and a very reasonable price. The family that runs this place was really helpful and very nice. I would definitely rent here again!

They offer class 3 rafting. It was fun to be with them. But rafting was not as much thrilling as I was expecting. Everything else was perfect. Staff is quite helpful.

We went rafting for my Bachelorette weekend and Patrick, our guide, was not only nice, he made the trip so fun! The entire trip was easy to book and worth the price! Id recommend blue sky again and again!

We spent a day rafting at the end of June. We took the full day package and it was amazing! Lots of rapids action in the afternoon. Raleigh was our guide and he was fantastic. It was so nice to have the photos at the end of our rafting experience; we got a lot of great pictures.

Patrick is very helpful and Casey is a bike guru. Great prices and great service.

We had such a great time rafting the river with Blue Sky!! The Colorado River is absolutely beautiful and what better view than being on a raft. The blue sky crew was so much fun!! They kept us entertained and safe the whole trip. My kids absolutely LOVED it! My daughter was a little scared but she was so glad she went, she had the best time! I loved seeing my kids being adventurous and loving it! I highly recommend blue sky adeventures!! They are awsome!

BSA Troop 188 came for an adventure and made the right choice with Blue Sky. We had a large group of 36 scouts and adults and had the best day ever on the river. Flow on the Colorado River was 1900 CFS. Weather 75 and sunny. We did a total of 20 miles and mixed rafts and Duckies. Our guides included Joe, Haley, Leo, David and LeeLee.They were safe but not overly restraining. With a little instruction even the 11 year olds were hitting the rapids with reasonable skill.We had a new caterer KP at the Oasis at the lunch stop: awesome flavorful and moist pulled pork, marinated juicy chicken, hamburgers and some serious 1/4 pound all beef hot dogs. Great fresh veggies and salad. Finished off with super chocolate chip cookies.Obviously we will be back! Thanks to the whole crew.
