Loved watching the sunset from one of the rest areas with my son. Its very clean here and the paths are clear. Lots of other folks out and about. Everyone was very respectful walking their fur babies & riding their bikes. All kinds of dogs and none barked at us or even tried to sniff us as we passed. It was a nice experience.

This place has nice views and a decent track to bike, jog or walk with dogs. The track goes in and out along the canal. The field in the middle bowls and collects water,. It can be quite swampy at times. Could have mud wrestling parties or extreme frizbe fun here. Couple areas to relax with a bbq grill and picnic tables/ water fountains. This place seems to have the usual neighborhood residents, getting a healthy stroll in, in the morning. Lots of care/work goes into keeping this place nice.. but I think it needs alot more trees, more trash cans, more benches, better markers/map for disc golf. Id like to see something for animals here, domestic and wild.. All sorts of wondering bird life visit here. Ive seen a crane, stork, swans, harks, geese, ducks and all sorts of smaller normal and rarer types. Canal bridge collects trash and should be cleaned regularly. The fields behind was all farmlands and now being turned in housing. Not sure if we will still have this nature much longer.

I love this trail, it is a easy way to disconnect from the city without going out from the city, the couple times that I have been there it wasnt a lot of people walking and it felt so peaceful, you can walk as long as you want, I totally recommend this easy trail when you want to go for a walk...

Love this park! Very scenic trails! Great place to walk, run, or jog. There is a play area for the kids, grills and cabanas, and lots of greens to enjoy a picnic! ...and Disc golf! I cyclist here often. Goes beyond the Cardinals stadium!

Kids had a really great time big open spaces a lot of room to play

I love it because I take my dog for a long walk or I can take the smaller route. Make sure you take your own doggy bags and water. The sound of the water is nice and sometimes you can see horses.

A great place to park with access to the Grand Canal. Its about 7.5 miles east to I-17.

Im so happy to visit this area when my body need to do a exercise its good for walk and running by the canal today God blessed me because I testify my testimony to one person after im finish my running time,

Id give it a 5, but the fact people drive near the roads when you walk next to the wash. People drive slow and look at the kids. Just be cautious.

This is our go to place for running or jogging or just walking nice scenery safe and clean trails are a couple moles long excellent for getting in a run .

Nice place ro run, walk, ride bikes with the family

Very nice parkway for walking or bike riding. There is also an option to walk/ride the asphalt next to the canal so no up and down. Lots of grass and trees and goes for miles.

This park is an amazing place to come by yourself to get away or to bring the dog for a walk, family, party etc. Its a very nice large park. When its busy it doesnt feel like everyone is too close to one another. Definitely one of my favorites in the area!

You might cross paths with some like minded individuals enjoying some peace of their own.On this path there are multiple ramadas, a playground at both ends of the path and one in the center.Do you ever read the signs you pass by? Yeah, me either. I dont know how many times I mustve passed this sign before I read it. Do you speak dog?

I love the park so much. It was amazing I am new to Arizona and when I first saw the park I thought it was very nice and organized I did see on a very small amount of trash on in the park but i dont care i would rate this a 10 but this only has a five star. I would totally recommend this park to anyone and even my friends and family.

Long walks through the park fly a kite read a book lite fishing also follow the canal all the way to the Cardinals stadium.

My kids live this park. Its great for kids from little little to like 10. Its got hiding places and its big. My kids always say take me to the maze park cause thats kind what it is. There is plenty to do and there are decent sized feilds. And the channel canal is a great place for fishing.

Very nice park minus the homeless people that linger around there. More families would go there if we could control that. All in all the park has a nice layout, you could walk for miles and enjoy it.

This is a great park to walk, run, bike, skate, etc. Theres lots of benches, picnic tables and a playground for the kids. Bring plenty of water. At sundown there are a lot of nats so be careful where you walk. No public bathroom so plan accordingly.

I love coming here to walk. The park is pretty safe and well lit.

This park is a great place to hike, jog, ride a bike, or just about any other outdoor activity. It stretches on for several miles. With a disc golf course, wide sidewalks and several park benches placed along your path, youre able to enjoy the comforts of a traditional park, but in linear form.

My friend is spending his first winter out in the Phoenix area near Sun City. I was visiting him and we wanted to play some disc golf one afternoon and found the Grand Canal Linear Park nearby. This part features lots of manicured grounds in a sunken long thin area as the name suggests. A walking / jogging trail runs down the middle of it and up the sides which slope upwards are grassy and landscaped areas that have goals for disc golf. I wish there was some signage explaining how the disc golf goals were laid out but otherwise we had a fine time playing out here.

Not so busy park, tucked away from the street. Nice little spot.

My dog and I loved taking walks here. It is clean, well maintained and safe even late at night. The grass is green. There are slides, swings and playground for the children. Me and my dog enjoyed them too, hehehe. Enjoy!

Just started taking my dog here for walks. So nice, so clean. Its paved sidewalk with green grass on either side. I ride my longboard and she runs in the grass. Couldnt ask for anything more.

I love to ride my bike from the small park at 75th and Camelback all the way to the Cardinals stadium. The trail goes under 83rd and 91st so I dont have to stop for crossing streets. Very well maintained and great for family walks and bike rides,

Its a nice park, its by the canal where anyone can enjoy a walk but too many homeless people sleep there.

I reviewed the kids and they said that they prefer this park over the other one I used to take them to. It is fun, peaceful and decent.

Such a beautiful place to ride a bike and lots of people walking too. Concrete and asphalt paths and trees and grass and between in the middle is this concrete lined water filled canal which runs the entire length of gradual up and down trails which are not steep, didnt mention flowers, catus, trees.

Beautiful place to go with the family. Very green. Very clean. Playground very clean as well. Definitely great park.

We love this walk! Been coming here for years. Its about 7 miles if you walk the whole way and back to parking lot on 75th ave.

I love how long the canal is for walking, exercising, running, biking and everything else on between. Its nice during the early mornings and evenings. A cute little place for a date as well.

I visited here mainly for the disc golf course which has a lot of improvement to be made, but none the less is interesting and enjoyable and once they get the projected items for the golf course installed should be a decent to good course. Missing T pads T signs needs better basket numbers and directions. Hopefully all provided by the city of Glendale, and soon to be properly installed to add another course outside of Scottsdale.

Excellent place to ride your bike without getting hit by cars. This bike path joins up with the new river trail path at 107th Ave and Bethany home road.

The actual park is nothing to shout about, but the running path is lit at night, and the canal is A GREAT place to run

Stopped there for a round of disc golf. Great new course that is getting good. Turf treads, but great alternate pins, and rec tone poles. Had a great time!

Its a nice place for a walk, jog or run. Mornings are a bit colder because of the dips in the path but over all so nice to be surrounded by nature. May be a good idea to bring a hat because there is not many trees big enough for shade on the path.

I really enjoy this park for my son. The play area is a little dated and worn but still functional and large! He can run all over the play sets and it has 4 slides! The only thing i dont like is there isnt a fence along the canal. I keep him far enough away and the play area isnt too close to the canal but still i wish there was a barrier.
