It is a small yet very educational park to visit. It goes over the history of the native peoples of this area and has some great views of the creek.
Couldnt see any of the petroglyphs. Signage and displays were poorly maintained, or just missing in some cases. Severely disappointing.
Cool little park with a short accessible walk.
Love this place.. reminds me of when I was a kid....but I climbed the rocks...
This is a quaint little park/picnic area! Great place for a picnic since there are plenty of picnic tables throughout the park. There is also a great informational hut located on the property that talks about the historical aspect of the park. If you are looking for a challenging hiking spot I would not recommend Chitactac-Adams as we were able to walk the entire trail in less than 10 minutes.
Great historical site along Watsonville Rd. Originally stopped here for the same reason I imagine most people do, to use the bathrooms, which are almost always clean. Theres a small walking path with some really interesting facts about the surrounding area and peoples that once lived there. I found this small site pleasantly educational and have visited numerous times.
My family and I really liked it. You learn alot about the Ohlone Indians.
Small but mighty park! Very informative and beautiful!
Great little hideaway. Not to large but very nice and informative
Secret cave only the knowing know where its at buahahhahaha
Amazing f place in the middle of nowhere. Awesome history.
Ive only ever been on weekends to walk the trail, not the events. Chitactac is beautiful.
Small site! Knowledge is good for kids.
Love this park, nice fresh park with sun shade. Feeling of Freedom!
A great place to learn about local Native American inhabitants.
Great little park. Cultural education as well. Doesnt take long at all so if youre planning an outing for the day; youll want to add something else to your day. They do have picnic tables and benches.
Beautiful place! Nice shady spots. The only problem (and its no ones fault) is that everything is a dirt trail. If anyone were to scuff up that dirt, there will definitely be a dust cloud. But thats nature. Cest la vie.
Easy to follow self-guided trails. Low key but interesting and fun.
Nice little park cleaning too
Good information and museum spot.
Nice
Great place for a picnic.
This site is where natives lived from san juan
This park is small, but definitely worth seeing nonetheless. The beautiful boulders scattered along the creek still bear signs of the native population that used to live there, and the creek itself is lovely (when theres water in it, that is )
Fantastic school field trip!
I love this park and the heritage of the past that is still here!
Hard to believe that we have this kind of History literally in our own backyard, great place to have a samitch and relax and enjoy.
Cool place. Water rocks, little hidden canyon
Awesome little escape for nature and a mini hike and picnic awesome views
Very short trail and its closed off
Really surprised by this place ,found it by accident but it is very tranquil.
Very interesting place!!
Fun park for learning about the Ohlone tribe and their culture.
