Needs some tending to. We found 2 post holes that were not covered filled in. My wife almost twisted an ankle when her foot went partly in the open hole. Holes were from an old deck that was removed. My 30 year old son and I gathered some old concrete chunks and some dirt and filled the post holes in best we could so nobody else cranks an ankle.

Great little park with fun for the whole family. Lake is a bit marshy and overgrown but teaming with wildlife. Fun/free adventure/learning opportunities for the kids,

Beautiful Park, Nice paved path with creatures to check out. Seen a momma duck and her 10 ducklings, a snake, and even a turtle. Only complaint is the Canadian Geese poop all over the path, but cant really contain that.

There is a paved mile long walking trail. Not much shade cover and only portable outhouses. A decent amount of the path either boarders the highway or the shooting range so not a very quiet walk. A few benches and a shaded picnics area near the parking lot. I did enjoy the historical markers along the path.

Good but tons of bugs. If you go take bug spray for sure

An easy 1.3 mile paved path surrounds one of the nicest parks in Gillette. As a bonus a sculpture display is nearby parking.

DOG FRIENDLY - LEASH REQUIRED! Pretty little trail to walk around. The trail around the pond is about 2 km around the circle.

My favorite place to walk. 1.3 miles around the lake. Wide cement walkway. It was lovely last week. Today we have 5 inches of snow. Not so nice now.

What a wonderful way to enjoy nature! Not sure what the distance the trail runs, but its a lovely walk. Well maintained and quiet. It has benches placed along the path so you can just sit and enjoy the scenery. We went during spring, so you could watch all of the baby birds. It has a couple of places that are lookouts and a nice shaded picnic area.

I just go here to catch Pokemon... Nice place though.

Very well kept lake...easy relaxation.... beautiful area!. obviously geese believe it is great spot to spend some time enjoying their lives..

Wide, paved jogging path with benches, trash cans, and doggy pick-up bags. Smaller nature trails also. Lots of wildlife. Picnic tables, grill, and shelter. Handicap accessible porta potty near paved parking lot. Dogs must stay leashed and on path, but is next door to fenced dog park.

I love this place because of the true beauty it offers. The wild animals and the long stretch of walking. 1.31miles. Just a beautiful place to walk and sing.

Typically the most populated dog park, unfortunately its mainly dirt, the parking lot becomes a mud field rutted from tires, no fresh water unless you bring your own, and theres typically a crazy lady constantly yelling at her german shepards (also travels with a great dane and 1-2 medium sized dogs). Most people dont clean up after their pets...but the nearby park is quite nice, great for a peaceful walk around past the outdoor shooting range and ponds.

There are a ton of mosquitos swarming along the path. But, other than that, on a good day its a good place for a walk.

I stopped at this park while traveling through to let the kids ride their scooters. The path was awesome and even had marks every 1/4 mile. There was plenty of water foul and not too many bugs. There were picnic areas there but we didnt use them.

Many parks structures here for kids. Great LONG walking path! Great place to feed ducks And get a view of turtles, snakes, ducks, insects and birds.
