Nice mile long path that can easily be done as a loop. A lot of shade in the center and plenty of space to play games/picnic. They have nice restrooms and a great park in addition to a frisbee golf course. Some great bridges, great upkeep.

Like the new bridge but its not as bouncy as the old one. The wooden path through the reeds is a beautiful addition. Cant wait to see the further expansion toward the college

Awesome park to fish at and get to see some nature. Make sure your kids pick up the trash and not throw it in the water. Not to many places are free to the public and perfect for the family.

I have two girls and they love this park. There are two sides to it with different age ranges on each side. This is awesome because it means older kids, including my oldest, are not bulldozing my youngest trying to play. Also, you can bring your kids out and fish here which is awesome!

Good for bike rides

Lake Shore is full cattails cant take grandkids fishing, for they cant get over them. Something needs to be done,they were not this bad until the new college walk was started and the cattails were dug up at the inlet end of lake.The park on the north west side has a lot of dog dropping,that the owners wont clean up. Ban the dogs or in force and fine the owners the cost to clean up after their pets. There is a dog park.The parks department does a good job with the grass and cleaning up the picnic and play areas, they could use some help with the dog problem.

It was really nice place to be. A lot of people out there dogs for walk, kids riding their bikes and a few people fishing too. I just relaxed and enjoyed the cool breeze.

Besides the weather being perfect, every single person that we met there was very courteous and pleasant. The lake was not too buggy. We had a very fun day.

Very nice park. Walking around the lake is a little over a mile. Safe atmosphere, family oriented and everyone seemed so friendly. Nicest porta a potties Ive ever been in- maybe 4 squared and well maintained. Park was nice enough to remind me why I dont live in the big city...

Really big and nice park to stretch our legs at during a long road trip.

Everything is green. Not too busy. Lots of activities happening. Trashcans were attended. It was a good day at the park.

They have fun new equipment. And now i can swing with my son. You can spin but a lot safer then older merry go around. Bathrooms could use work. Great place to walk, play with your kids, dogs, and have a cookout. Frisbee gold also available here.

Its a great park for kids to plat at, if there were a few more picnic tables closer to the play are that would be a great addition.

What a wonderful community park, huge trees well maintained, decent bathrooms and a compact playground for smaller kids, frisbee golf, picnic shelters.

Maybe it needs a zipline and mabe a water fountain and a top cover for when you dont get sunburn and thats all

Fish, play ball, playground, disk golf, covered picnic tables, and a measured track around the lake. This park has a ton. Like to come here with the old lady to fish. Dog likes to swim sometimes. Ive seen people paddle board in this lake as well. Theres two playgrounds for kids and a paved path around the lake.

Very nice, well maintained, clean, nice employees, except for the uncomforted dog poo. People need to pick up after their dogs more and have respect for others around them. Its like that in all the parks. When the city of Gillete offers free bags for the dog poo, and nice trash cans, but yet refuse to use them. RESPECT. How would you feel if you step or fall into dog poo or you child does. Think about it say something, do something.

It is a beautiful park in the vast metropolis of Gillette. Playgrounds, and playing fields for multiple sports. Very accommodating.

Great place for a couples walk or to take your kids and dogs

This park was just what we needed. While traveling across the country, we stopped here for some replacement tires. I saw on the map that this park was nearby, so we made sandwiches for lunch, and let the kids play. They have flush toilets, plenty of grassy areas, plenty if picnic tables, plus a few pavilion areas with several tables of their own. There is plenty of parking, too.The floor of the playground area is that super cushy recycled tire stuff. I love that.Also, I just noticed, they also ha e an area with basketball court and sand volleyball.All-in-all, a great place. :-)

Great area for kids to play. We do a picnic with our church here every Monday always happy with the cleanliness. With fishing license you can catch small fish in the pond. Great family location
