Love to have a place to let my dog run, but definitely could use some more lighting for evenings after work

Nice place, but would like more benches, maybe some trees for shade. Rockville and Frederick near Ballenger creek have much nicer dog parks.

Small dog park with patchy grass. Fine enough if you’re looking for a place close by, but don’t count on there being dog poo bags there. Also there is NO water available and the bowls left behind are full of dirt and mold. Wouldn’t recommend having your dog drink from them unless they’ve got a really strong immune system.

Wish this location had separate dog park for small and large dogs like olney park.

Lots of space for dogs, good responsible owners. Easy access off of 270. Needs more water access but other than that this is a great dog park for locals in the area.

This place would be really nice if people pick up their dog poo

There seems to be a few regulars who dont pick up after their dog. There is no separate area for small dogs and there is only one shaded area with a bench. It looks like there used to be a cover for the seating but it hasnt been replaced. Lots of space though!

Too small and does not have separate sections for small/big dogs. I have a small dog and wont bring him because the other dogs are so much bigger than him and usually chase him into the corners of the fence. Its mostly dirt and rocks.

Decent size! Just wish it was maintained better with a drinking fountain for the pups and people.

Dog run.... dogs of all sizes. No water source so everyone brings their own. Sometimes poop bags are provided, but very infrequently. Shaded areas for dog owners.

There is no seperate space for small dogs, so you need to be careful with smaller dogs. Some owners that come here arent aware of proper dog park etiquette so you need to really pay attention to whats going on. There a better dog parks further south down 270.

My dog loves it there

If you live in the area it is convenient. Easy access and there are usually other dogs around at most times of the day.The actual park area is not too great, and the amenities are minimal to none. It would also be nice if there were a water faucet nearby.

It serves its purpose. No water fountain, mostly dirt, very dusty, not very big.

Theres hardly any grass or trees but the people that come here are wonderful and supportive.

Its ok. Big enough for your dog to run and get good exercise. But make sure to bring your own water as there is not a tap onsite.

Nice place, though small and a bit muddy. Dont seem to replace the poopbags very often. Very friendly people bring their dogs there!

I take my dog here occasionally. Most people are pretty cordial. I feel they shouldve included some playground options for dogs though. Its definitely just a fenced in area lol. They do offer bags for your dogs to though :)

Basic, but plenty of room to run. So far all the dogs weve met have been friendly and their people have been responsible.

Great big area for dogs to run around. Covered area for dog parents. Wish they had some kind of Easter fountain or running water for the dogs though.

Great public park for tennis, volleyball and picnic.

Very narrow, lots of rocks and also no water and rarely poop bags. Also a lot of people dont pay attention to their dogs here. Also had a lady here throw something at my dog to hit her because she didnt like my dog playing with hers (they like to rough house) and she doesnt like her dog to play like that. Just wants it to walk around. Its a very busy dog park too. People also bring small children that run around and scream and make some of the dogs go nuts and then the parents get angry.

People have problems cleaning after their pet. Poop bags need to be installed.
