Historical cornerstone of Galesburg, and one of the most important properties of history for the state of Illinois. The building is rich with historical clues to the founders of Galesburg and what it took to create a town on the prairie of Illinois. The stained glass, woodwork, leaded glass and unique stone have the ability to transport you to a time when Galesburg was flourishing. The Galesburg Congregational church is stunning. inside and out.

What a magnificent church! The Knox-Galesburg Symphony held a holiday open house there featuring chamber music. It sounded heavenly! Additionally, the church moderator was a gracious hostess and tended the refreshment area efficiently.

So beautiful ️But I couldnt buy anything from the gift shop since no one was there.
