What a really fun place. We visited during the pumpkin harvest, but there is so much more to do and see. They have a hay ride, feed the animals area, and a farmers market with fresh breads. If you are looking for trees and landscaping materials, then this is your place. Definitely worth a visit.

This farm is fantastic. Everyone is extremely nice and they’re still keeping up with the fun for Christmas, I’ll definitely be back for the nursery.Only thing that stinks(which isn’t their fault really), I got my tree home(blue spruce) and the entire bottom half has a ton of dead needles that you can’t see unless you’re actually looking into the tree well, I’ve only had the tree a day and have swept 3 dustpans of dead(dark brown and dry) needles out, and I haven’t even put lights in or decorated. I wish I was smarter and really looked into the tree now, it’s just so full which is great that you can’t see into the middle well from just standing back and looking at it.Just be careful and look at the pre cut trees past what you see on the outside, it’s a decent amount of money for a tree, especially if it doesn’t end up lasting the season, to not pay attention like we did.

Thursday, 10/15 - We went to Kinsey Family Farm in search of new shrubs, roses, azaleas, etc. Recommended by our landscaper. The lady in the office never greeted us. She asked if we needed help, answered a couple of questions with a general nod or direction to look. She basically seemed put out that we had questions or needed help help at all. Rather than stay with us or continue to help she walked off to move carts around. We had to wait on her to come back outside to be checked out. She was rude with heres your receipt. sign over there. Never a pleasant word from her. We left grateful to be gone and vowing never to return. No people skills at all, lack of communication skills and passive-aggressive attitude would be better suited digging holes and never working with the public. You never know how someone lives, what home life is like, etc but a kind greeting or a smile goes a long way. We made our purchase but we wont be back. Found Full Bloom Nursery - a gold mind of pleasurable, friendly, and helpful folks. Kinsey needs to re-evaluate their staff!!

Wonderful experience. Animals are well taken care of with mama cows and baby cows free to be together. Customer service was friendly. I never knew there were so many different types of pumpkins! Beautiful farm. We will be back ***I would also like to add this place is completely OUTDOORS with fresh air and plenty of space to distance yourself, so everyone complaining about masks should take that into account.

It was great to enjoy the farm animals, and the area itself, I do wish the pumpkins were spread out a little more in order to practice a little more social distancing. I wish there would have been a free hay ride, and would have gone through the whole farm. I do appreciate the employees that were serving foods were wearing masks. We purchased apple cider. And peach cider and donuts which were all delicious.

We did not have a good experience after driving an hour to come visit this place. The lady staff was so rude and unfriendly, she did not seemed like she wanted to assist us. We asked a few questions about the trees that they have there and she appeared so annoyed and didnt not want to give us the time of the day. Her answers were short, snappy and unhelpful. Although we loved the scenery/animals, it was overshadowed by our negative interaction with this lady staff. It was close to 5 pm ( time of closing), she drove up in her tractor and told us that they are closing at 5 pm, basically trying to tell us to get out. When we said ok, she turned off her tractor and yelled it louder, did you hear me?We felt so unwelcomed and unwanted there. We will not be returning to purchase the plants that we were so interested in.

First id like to say I am thoroughly impressed with how awesome this tree farm was and the professionalism of the staff (the register ladies could have been a touch nicer) they where not mean. Just not super cheerful. other than that this place is hands down the best tree farm in GA in my opinion! My daughter is 2 and we went to a tree farm in Braselton earlier today with no luck on finding a tree, with that said our daughter was not super thrilled with the first tree farm by any means. And the moment we pulled up to Kinsey family farm she started getting excited bc of the Christmas lights. And did not loose excitement the whole time. The tractor ride down to the field where the trees are was a great experience for us and her as well as the men helping at the place you cut the tree down. I will give you a tip. Ask for them to cut off the bottom bc I didnt and regret it 100% the concessions are awesome and the atmosphere is amazing. It kept my 2 year olds attention and thats hard to do!Great place and great job Kinsey family Farms. You have procured a life long customer!

This is a wonderful family friendly place! The process of getting a tree is painless. Pick a tree, cut it down (or get one of the employees to cut one for you), then they transport it, wrap it up and tie it to your car (inside or outside). They also offer hot drinks, wreaths, pumpkins, smores, bread products, honey, tractor rides and a farm where you can view some farm animals.

This farm is beautiful. Brought my kids to visit a few times when they were younger. Visited a few times with my church preschool. Tried to book it again, and then they informed me my preschool had only paid for 20 children when we had more than 80 on the field trip. After I investigated and found the check we wrote to them & it had cleared the bank, I tried to explain to them that we had paid for the 80 children BEFORE the field trip and the other 20 people were families that didnt pay ahead of time so they paid that day. I had the proof of our payment but they didnt seem to care. Didnt offer any apology for accusing us of theft. They have probably bad mouthed our preschool to others. Fortunately our school found another farm to visit with the friendliest family & staff! Unfortunately, this experience has ruined me from ever visiting their farm with my family again.

I love this place! Weve come here 2 years in a row for our Christmas tree. You can ride down on their tractor and cut your own, or choose from already cut trees up front - either way, youre going to get a beautiful tree. The drive out there is beautiful and part of the whole experience for me, my daughter loves roasting marshmallows and feeding all the animals. They have a little country store with fresh breads, jams and jellies, ciders and sweets. When youre all done, the guys will net and tie your tree for you ( they even let you fill your trunk with clippings for wreaths and swags), its a really affordable fun time out for the fam - we got a very full, beautiful 6 foot tree, fed the animals, had hot cocoa and roasted marshmallows for smores all for about 70 bucks. Everyone there is just so warm, funny & friendly, I love that their ornament this year featured their newly rescued alpacas.. I cant say enough good things about Kinsey family farm & the folks there

This place is so so so pretty! A place like this near Atlanta would charge $15 in admissions, 1$10 in hay rides and the pumpkins would be damn near $50. Since it’s so cheap and obviously gorgeous, I’m making the two hour drive again to get a Christmas tree. I can see this being a family tradition for years to come.

I went to Kinsey Family Farm today to inquire about purchasing 8-10 Green Giants for my backyard. The lady in the office did not greet me upon my arrival and provided only the minimum information required to answer my questions regarding size, price, guarantees, etc. When I asked if I might see the 8 foot trees (the smallest size not in buckets), she said that was impossible, due to liability issues. I left amazed that someone with her lack of communication skills and passive-aggressive attitude would be put in such a visible position where she interacts with potential customers. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but I will not be buying any trees from Kinsey Family Farm as a result of my negative experience this afternoon.

The Kinsey Family Farm is simply the best place to buy all of your trees and shrubs. I visited my brother in Alpharetta in April, and we planted several Sioux crape myrtles and Arizona cypress trees from Kinsey Family Farm. Everything looked so healthy at the farm. Now Im back in July, and the trees have really grown. The crape myrtles have beautiful, large pink flowers. Everything is still so healthy! I have attached a couple of photos. The purchase experience was also very good. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a very large selection, which makes it easy to follow a landscape plan. Checkout took a little longer, because they provide a detailed receipt. I recommend the Kinsey Family Farm without hesitation.

Great farm and awesome staff. Buy a pumpkin here, buy one of their on-site trees, but DO NOT buy a Fraser fir. We started a family tradition along with my 2 sisters and their families the day after Thanksgiving. We’ve done this now for 3 seasons and love the farm, atmosphere and free hay ride. However, our trees haven’t lasted until Christmas. This year was the worst, our tree was a fire hazard after 2 weeks! Seriously limbs are brittle and falling off and the tree is brown. We will be forced to take our business elsewhere as it seems the vendor Kinsey purchases trees from just cuts them too early.

Need to improve customer service. I want to buy product from Kinsey, but I do live a bit far so I tried using the phone to determine if you have what I need or can get what I need. Called twice as I needed to buy some bushes, trees, perpetuals, edibles etc. Was told someone will call me back to tell me if they have them or if they can get them for me. Never called me back. Called a third time to ask about other plants and trees; was told they do not carry them but they could maybe get them for me and someone will call me to let me know. Never got a call back. I live over 20 miles away, I cant drive and look at the stock every time I need a plant! It wold be a great idea to invest a little time and call customers back - as I will buy three more trees and at least four more bushes just for this season from somewhere else that is closer to me and answers questions over the phone. An online Q & A site might be good as well. Sad to know that as recommended as the Kinsey Farm is, I will will not shop there.

Buyer beware bought a tree the weekend after Thanksgiving spend $134.50 plus tax. It was an enjoyable experience. As of December 8 my wife told me that the tree is drying out and it crumbles to the touch. We have watered the tree every day per instructions we got by Kinsey Family Farm since we bought it. The tree is so dry we are afraid to turn on our lights because were afraid itll catch on fire. I called today December 10th spoke to a young lady on the phone she asked one of the male employees Andy or Andrew maybe? Who told us drill some holes in the tree at its base and hopefully it will drink and come back but most likely it was dead when we got it from them. I requested either an exchange or a 50% credit so I could buy a new tree I was told we dont do that. So buyers beware understand these people do not stand by their products. Merry Christmas to you folks i will never buy from you again. That includes the 3k worth of Leyland cypresses i was planing on buying from you all this spring as i always like to buy local.

Terrible service. I called to see if Kinsey Family was interested in pricing my full property landscape project which I would think would be attractive to any nursery. The person I spoke with said they do not deliver or install....which is fine I guess for people who have the means - equipment, transportation to transport large plants, etc. And I realize they may not be set up for the type of project I have planned. The part that is disappointing is when I asked for recommendations for other providers who offer more of a full service experience, the representative offered no help. When I asked, she said she had only been in the area a year and couldnt offer a suggestion or phone numbers. Really? How long can you stay in business with such a crappy attitude and lack of service. Very disappointing - I wont call again.
