Beautiful place lot of animals, trails are not well marked, and be very careful with ticks at this time of year (Summer) especially if you go with kids and pets

Ride the Hawthorne Trail almost every week. Absolutely love it! It seems I see something different almost every time, it never gets old.

Ok but too many skeeters for me. I grew up in the woods in the south and it was never like this, I mean its like you were the main dish at an all you can eat smorgasbord!!!

Gorgeous pine, old growth, and marsh and swampland hikes along miles of multiple and well-maintained trails thanks to the Alachua Conservation Trust. Absolutely beautiful and diverse nature viewing.
