My kids had a ball. 2 hours time blocks are great for me but my kids wanted to stay longer. Thats just how much fun they had. I was actually into it and how they have the neighborhood set up, it sparks adults to use their imaginations to. When we went it was us plus two additional families but it was awesome social distancing. Will be back soon for a weekend getaway low key activity for my kids.

Very cute! I went here with my sisters, & all of our kids (Three boys, ages 8, 5, & 2 and a girl, 4) There was something here for all of them! They all enjoyed different places in town. The Airport area was a big hit with all 4. The construction zone was a hit with the boys. My 8yr old enjoyed the big foam blocks the most. They all enjoyed sitting in the police car and fire truck. The 4 & 5 yr olds were very into the different costumes! The store & diner were a hit with them as well. The whole idea of this hands on, pretend town is adorable! There was staff walking around, continuously straightening and organizing the area. They were all so sweet. Overall this was a really enjoyable experience.

We have been here once before, in 2010, and returned today. While most everything was the same, our children enjoyed it very much. The hours go by quick, and the kids dont want to leave. There is something for everyone! For $6 per person (on Sundays), its a great place to spend time as a family. Everything is colorful and fun!The restrooms are relatively clean and are equipped with stools and the soap dispensers at a small childs eye level. There is a designated eating area right before entering the museum. Theyre ok with you bringing sack lunches, but per their website, no party food or cakes.Theres a gift shop at the entrance/exit with a variety of neat toys.

Had my son’s birthday party here. It was very fun, overall we had a good time. The room was a bit on the small side, we paid extra to have an employee help us. But she wasn’t much help, she did help with the clean up though, I kept asking for guidance because I don’t do birthday party’s at a museum every day, and all she would tell me is it’s up to me. so I would save the money.

We got the homeschool rate, which was great since there were so many of us, however a lot of the stations had missing and broken parts. The cow no longer squirts water, the conveyor in the store and the beeper doesnt work (It used to), the salon had mostly all broken curlers, as did the dentistry office. The dress up station had few clothes for girls and hardly any for boys, unless you are size 4 toddler. The factory was a great intentioned stop too, but ALL of the boards on which to build the designs had broken posts which meant you cant build ANY of the designs!! Geez...Id had paid full price to get to use fully stocked and fully functioning stations!

Really fun place for young kids. We went here with a 4 and 2 year old and they had a blast. The place is really nicely laid out with contained spaces that simulate a grocery store, doctors office, airport, etc. The kids get to dress up, pretend, and play with other kids. Well worth the trip and the money.

INK was a fun place to take our friends with kids. Our friends were only in town for a little while but wanted somewhere their kids could get out some energy, so we chose to go to INK. The two of them loved running around the neighborhood and playing in all of the experiential rooms. They still talk about wanting to go back and to visit the grocery store again or to be able to play in the airport. If you have young kids, this is a great, family friendly environment!

Everything is broken and doesnt work and I know this because its the exact same stuff from when we went last several years ago. If youre gonna charge parents admission, that place should have working stuff! This is definitely for kids 3 and under that wont know the difference. The same stuff is broken that previous people have mentioned. Everything in the grocery store, the conveyer belt, the scanner, everything that would make it fun for a kid. The clothes and wigs are torn and bald. Someone in management or the owner should walk through!

Weve been a few times and have really enjoyed ourselves. I love the upgrades since they reopened. We went today, and my boys (3 and 15mo) were having a great time with the lighted pegs, BUT one of the maintenance workers (white, big/burly) was walking around near my boys while they were playing. He picked up a few toys about the room but then came over to where my boys were. My 15mo was taking the pegs out of the wall, putting them down, and putting them in again. The man came up TO them, picked up the pegs and said, Stop putting these on the floor. They go here. Then he walked off. I thought he was kidding like a gruff man, so I smiled and said, Thank you. He looked at me and walked off to the maintenance room. It was weird and he scared my kids. Maybe when hiring people, lets make sure they like kids first.

I have to say I was highly disappointed with this place! It was so dirty and run down. You would think for $9 per person it would have been cleaner and staff walking monitoring but nope just 2 teens at the feont desk. Do to a birthday party there was a lot of kids running around unsupervised. Went into the grocery store and no carts becasue someone had taken them to the barn. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Although the kids has a lot of fun-and I know we’re here for them-the museum was overall run-down and dirty. It needs a lot of TLC and updating. I highly doubt they clean and sanitize the plastic toys and stations and that should be a priority since tons of kids are around. The price was decent so I guess you get what you pay for, but the facility needs a higher standard of cleanliness. We still had fun though.

We visited after they reopened. I know they say there is no mold, but it doesnt feel like it. Theres a lingering odor and after an hour being in their facility, I felt sick. I was sneezing and my chest hurt, my eyes were irritated, and I just started to feel ill in general. We left and I didnt stop feeling bad for a while. I know some groups are at risk for feeling more affected by mold than others, I have two qualifiers for being within an at risk group. I hope no one else feels how I felt or gets sick.

My 2 year old loved the exhibits. However, some of the building seemed to need renovations, as it looked very old. There’s also only one restroom in the museum, all the way in the front of the building. The museum lists that it serves children 2-10, but I think the max age is closer to 8.

Great beginning of the summer road trip. Quiet (but not too) on a beautiful Thursday late May. This museum is certainly not boring and not only did the kids (3&6) get to use their imaginations, and explore, but they also made new friends. Our top choice for neighborhoods, the grocery store with a beeping scanner, shopping carts and plenty of things to buy. CF&M recommend!

Things to be aware about this place if planning to do a Party with them.- Do it yourself. The Host packages are useless. The employees are lifeless. They have no kind of “happiness” or even a fake “enthusiasm” for party host.- Everything is unorganized. We had to call several times to book the event. The day of the party I felt like I had to figure out when and what to do (even tho we had a party host that you would think would be entertaining the guest and directing the event.)-Way overpriced for the time slot in the room.-They never told me I had to come pick up the invations until I asked about them the day of the Party.- They tried to over charge us.-The place needs a remolding. Super outdated. They don’t seem to clean the faculty often. It smelled and was dirty in lots of places. We was their from 1-4:30 on a Sunday. They close at 5pm on Sundays and we saw the employees running around the Museum about 4ish trying to clean up areas and closing them off so no one would mess that area up. Seems like the employees have to pick up the toys at the end of the day which is fine but also tacky to do when the faculty is still in business hours.- Would I come back? No- Would I recommend this place even if it was free? Nope!Save your money and go elsewhere!

After hearing about this I decided to visit INK with my daughter who is 7. We walked In and it looked great (you walk into the gift shop area). After paying a reasonable price of $8 a person . we started walking through the learning area. This is where my experience went bad. This place is dirty and the items on display and for the children use are either broken or filthy. I honestly question the amount of cleaning and sanitizing that is done. This place has so much potential to be what it is meant to be which is a fantastic concept. But I wont return and my daughter even said dad I Dont want to touch that is very dirty we spent 20 minutes walking around but the lack of cleanliness forced our hand to leave. As I was walking out I asked the front desk lady how often the place is sanitized and cleaned and also how often they update the broken or missing objects. Her response was we clean pretty often but its mainly like sweeping and mopping and we Dont replace much unless its dangerous that sealed the deal for me. I saw over 100 kids in this place in the 20 minutes I was there and they were touching everything and it required much more than sweeping and mopping.

Review №85

If your in the area and looking for something for the kids to do then this is really the only option. On a road trip we stopped by with a 1 and 4 year old to get them out of the car. Its a huge place with tons of activities for the kids from a full mini neighborhood with grocery store, bank, hair salon, dentist, dinner, etc.. There is an indoor gym and blocks and a ceramic studio that I think is an additional cost. Its such a great idea but the place is SUPER dated and quite frankly very dirty. I was so grossed out I just couldnt see past it. My kids had a great time cuz they dont see those things but for the price they need to do better. If u have nothing else to do and u arent concerned with cost then head on over. If u have anything else u can do I would say skip it.

Little one loved it but the place needs a serious makeover. Its smelly and outdated. Younwoyld ghink that with $100 membership fees they could update all the activity rooms. Parked and immediately there were older kids in education tshirts (I was told they were a fieldtrip group) walking through the lot outside talking loud & cussing. I go in and no one greets us & the mood in there was very somber. I called earlier and was under the impression it was 2 & under free, but its under 2- my bad. I mention the cussing and am informed that is no reflection on them by the not so welcoming blonde lady. Just didnt feel compelled to swipe my card so we left.
