I go here every weekend that Im off. I love hiking. They have different levels of trails from easy to extreme. Theres some very beautiful spots out there. And its just a really fun thing to do by yourself or with your family. Also they have frios where you can get Gourmet popsicles. Its a little on the expensive side for a popsicle but I mean how can you say no to your kid. They have a great little park and a little sensory garden with tables and chairs. And the inside of Noccalula where the animals are at you can ride the train, see the different animals that are outside and inside or you can go hiking on the trail and see the waterfall. They also have military machines there. Theres so much to do. Oh and I forgot you can feed the Ducks.

Beautiful! Trail to the falls was difficult in some areas. Loved the train ride around the park area. The falls were small while we were there during a dry season, but the area is just beautiful. Campground right next to the park.

Beautiful falls. There is a park nearby with mini golf and a small train. Hiking is available to go down to the falls. Right near downtown Gatlinburg. Its worth going and checking out.

We always enjoy going to Noccalula Falls. Our family finds the Falls to be beautiful, but visting with the animals was fun the last time we visited the park. Also, we finally had an opportunity to play a game of putt-putt golf, and we will definitely be returning with more friends and family for some team challenges!

This place has become one of my favorite destinations each time I pass through the area. The beauty can’t be described in a few words. I’ve been here in the past many times and never knew there were trails that take you to and behind the falls. There are a few spots along black creek trail that descend down into the gorge that takes you to the falls and a new suspension bridge that crosses the creek. Be careful along the trails because the trails are natural and a little rough along the way,but this is what makes the hike a little more interesting. Once at the falls there are many spots to catch a lot of beautiful photos. I have never been disappointed with the natural beauty and peace of this area. Places to eat nearby and very ample parking space.

Came for the middle and high school mountain bike races and was NOT disappointed!! I could come to the Falls every weekend and always see something new. Just a beautiful place, and so involved in the community!!

Crowded park but great trail system with falls near parking area.

Great hiking loop that takes you all the way down under the water falls and a new suspension bridge has been added that loops you back around so you can hike both side of the river and under the waterfall in one swoop! Great for all active individuals. Terrain can get steep at places and slick under the falls, but as long as you watch your footing it isnt dangerous.

Beautiful! We visited here multiple times, and it is always just as lovely. It can gather some crowds, but nothing terrible. There is a lot to do with families. A little train to ride around and get a tour on. A playground. A little zoo. A little ice cream shop is there for some yummy snacks too!

Awesome hiking trails... they could be better marked. The falls are beautiful. Although it lists many other activities online, we did not see or find them while there.

We love to come look at the falls, especially during spring time and flowers blooming. They have a great walking trail, a wedding venue, a petting zoo and various other activities. They also light up the falls for Christmas season.

Beautiful! We walked all the way down to the river and followed a trail that leads to a suspension bridge! It was absolutely gorgeous! A great spot to stop and see and an Indian landmark as well. They have spots to park your RV and trails to walk or jog. Just beautiful!

Nice park with a pretty waterfall. The train ride is better than most and they have a few animals you can pet.

Besides being a family attraction park, picnic area, and campground, there is also a fabulous walking/ biking trail for all ages. A few good hills to get your heart rate up.The main trail is as wide as a two lane country road. It is well maintained and runs along the gorge, beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Benches and overlooks along the way. There is a flat rocky area 1 mile down for your pups to swim with clear shallow water. The main trail is 1.8 miles one way and there are other smaller, more challenging trails off of the main trail with a map provided to show those trails. They are also working on a swinging bridge. Great places for a photo shoot. We walk this trail often and always feel safe.

I have been visiting Noccalula Falls since I was a child, and never tire of the beauty! It is especially beautiful after a lot of rain, and if you are lucky you might just see a rainbow over the Falls! I took the rainbow picture in 2018, and the others 11-3-19.

Just beautiful. Will definitely go again! Not too difficult to navigate, but be careful on wet rocks, slippery! Bring a good camera and you can get some spectacular shots.

Visited with the hope of seeing a beautiful waterfall and saw so much more! Purchased the Nocculula Falls Experience and truly enjoyed every moment of the day!

Great park with a variety of trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Picnic shelters and rv parking available. You can climb down to the falls if you are up to the challenge or view it from the paved walkway at street level.

Love to take the kids here. When we get visitors this is pretty much the first tourist stop. Miss taking that little train. Absolutely gorgeous view of the Falls.

Noccalula Falls is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in North Alabama. Aside from the actual falls there is a plethora of activities for the entire family - a playground, train ride, walking trails. Definitely a must see if youre in the area!

Awesome place for one day picnic or you can camping at camp site.Good for kids. Fall is more beautiful if you visit couple days after raining. You can go on trail that will take you behind falls.

Gorgeous hike, luckily lots of locals were there to help us navigate where we wanted to be. Better postings would be helpful but it was gorgeous and worth getting all turned around.

Beautiful place for wedding but people who run the chapel and banquet part need a heart..all they care about is money and that is all..

A beautiful place to visit. It has an amazing gorge with a trail that walks right under the waterfall. Its very refreshing in the summer heat. There is a pioneer village and a petting zoo. Its very family oriented.

Beautiful Best kept Secret

Noccalula Falls is where the Appalachia mountains end. It is beautiful. They have a wedding chapel there and a bridge over the falls. It is a site to see.

Met friends here for a three day rally. Beautiful falls, nice campground.

Nice waterfall. Go after a heavy rains leads to the best views.

There is the Noccalula Falls Park next door. Just pass that and go to the falls through the parking area before the campground. There is access to the trails and the waterfall for free. It is a beautiful place and the trails have gorgeous rock formations.

I had never been there before. It was simply breathtaking! The grounds were clean and well kept.

I reccomend a visit there any time of the year,especially Christmas time

What a wonderful park! It was absolutely gorgeous, super up kept and the falls were beautiful, once you get down to the water there’s multiple swimming holes. While we were down by the water there was a exhibit telling the story of the falls, we weren’t supposed to be in the area while the story played but it was magical being near the water and getting to listen to the story.We’re from Oregon and were going through the area on a honeymoon road trip and holey smokes it was HOT in June. My husband may have had a slight case of heat exhaustion. But there were natives to the area jogging through the trails so it was probably just that we weren’t used to the heat.

This a wonderful place to visit for adults and children. The falls are beautiful, and the park area has lots to see and do. The area is beautifully landscaped, and all facilities were clean, and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price per person is extremely reasonable. Its an all-around great place to visit.

Better than the birmingham zoo by a long shot. awesome place to spend the day. i loved it and my wife loved it. loved the animals and the scenery and the train ride and of course the falls. the employees we encountered were awesome as well. you could tell they were happy to work there. will be going back for sure. if fact i cant wait to see that precious deer.

My 4 year old loved it here. He got to play on the playground, ride the train and visit the petting zoo. At $6 to ride and see all the animals it was a steal. Would definitely recommend.

Really beautiful falls

For my daughters wedding... Very beautiful chapel but the lighting was horrible and it was very hot inside during the ceremony. After, the reception was held at the pow wow room. The walk from the chapel to the reception was too far for the elderly guest. Pricing was very fair.

Its made up story about the native princess is not only tacky its just culturally insensitive. Not to mention the garish play they are putting on to top it all off. The falls are beautiful, there was no need to add some contrived story.

Amazing waterfall! The park itself is very well kept. It is clean and updated...has that new feeling even though it has bug seen around a while. Great place to bring the family for the day.

Very pleasant visit. A very dramatic plunge of water over the cliff. There was a lot of flow when we went. Good views from free area but probably some better views from the paid park. Park includes trail to the bottom of the falls but it is not necessary to enter paid area to enjoy this waterfall. We got some fast food and sat at a covered table close to the falls and enjoyed the outdoors.

This place is more than I expected and well worth the hike to see under the falls.

This is a wonderful park to spend the day. The waterfall is absolutely stunning year round. There are several hiking trails that lead underneath the falls and follow along Black Creek, as well as biking trails. The campground is very well maintained and clean. The park is decorated with lights during the Christmas season, and the train rides through put it over the top. The petting zoo is also a great experience for the kids. The kids love to visit this park. We could spend all day there and sometimes do. The train operator even sang happy birthday to my daughter over his speaker when he found out it was her birthday.

Very nice park! Everything was very clean, even the petting zoo! My kids loved riding the train and even though they were too little to do the trails we got a great view!

Beautiful park. Hiking there is awesome. It might be a little confusing as to where trails are for those who are new and maps arent really sufficient. But once you find your way around its definitely worth it.I havent payed for all the tourist stuff like train rides and the petting zoo, but it looks like itd be a lot of fun for kids and Im sure parents can enjoy the views during the train ride.

Went for The Worlds Longest Yard Sale (it is the starting point of the southern end). Plan to take grand daughter next week for park visit. What we saw looked like a lot of fun.

Excellent place to visit with the whole family. Great play area for young children. Wonderful history and folk lore legend while getting some outside exercise.
