This is a great little place to see the history of the town in miniature form, specifically how it was as an old train town years ago. I spent about 2 hours just admiring the modern art in the newer exhibits and learning about the history of the museum itself in another other exhibit. This was a great place to visit in order to experience the old and new culture Gadsden has to offer.

We go here a lot and the kids have a blast. They always seem to find something new to do each time we go. It also gives them inspiration to draw and try new things. We love this place.

The Gadsden Museum of Art is a pretty smart place. They primarily focus on rotating collections of local artists. This both keeps admission free and means the museum doesnt feel the need to compete with other art museums.Theyve a very small permanent collection, which is about a quarter of its space. Much of that is decorative.You wont find European art here. There is no abstract expressionism. In stead theres a laser like focus on using the best local artists to bring anthropological insight into the community.

We went for an art show during the First Friday event. The museum was showing local art, and student art. The staff was friendly and show was well organized.

I love Gadsden Art Museum! The classes that are taught are small and personal and the way art is presented to children makes them want to learn more. Great great great place!

Smaller art museum tucked away in Downtown Gadsden. FREE admission, constantly changing exhibits, and small gift shop. Stop by and check it out. They have recently added a Childrens Gallery. Nice!

Had a great time at the Gadsden Art Association Fine Art Show. This year were celebrating 60 years of Art.

A little taste of history that showcases up and coming artists who then can rise up in the art world. The staff is there for any questions and glad to help. The location is perfect! In the heart of downtown Gadsden there is dining, shopping and more!
